Don’t Regret It (2)

He saw her abandon Parrish and approach Ulysses, but when he became Ulysses to meet her "expectations," he didn't get the answer he wanted.

Did she really approach Ulysses just because she really wanted to be his student?

Rothgarr didn’t want to admit it, but the reality was that he could not understand Anna’s decision.

He stared at Anna sullenly and sneered: "Don't regret it."

Then he turned and walked away, leaving Anna there.

Once Anna saw that the demon was gone, her stiff body gradually relaxed.

She walked back carrying the food box, feeling a little frustrated in her heart.

She really got excited for nothing; she still had to take a perfunctory attitude with that demon.

As for what he said about leaving tomorrow and her not regretting it, it went in one ear and out the other. It’d be a miracle if he really did leave!

Parrish's lunch was still sent over by Anna. He was in a better condition than when he had breakfast. He was able to sit up and eat, and he didn't seem to recognize Anna anymore—because he finally noticed her and asked her name.

Anna said her name respectfully. Parrish gave a weak but bright smile, and exclaimed: "What a nice name, dear. Your smile is like the glory of the Goddess of Light, holy and beautiful, I really like your smile."

Anna smiled: "Thank you Young Master Parrish for your compliment, I am very honored."

She found that although the words were similar, Parrish himself was more sincere and pleasant to the ears, but from the mouth of the demon, it was always like a doubles-edged sword, as if he would praise someone and then stab them with a sword at the same time.

Parrish didn’t say anything. He finished the food and had Anna pack everything up.

During the time that he was possessed by the demon, Parrish did not remember anything. But Waldo said he was sick for the past two days, and Father Louis came to heal him. So, he thought it must have been his illness that caused him to forget some memories. Either way, it was only a few days worth of memories. He asked Waldo, and it seemed like nothing much happened anyway, so he didn’t care too much.Anna thought about Parrish's behavior on the way back, relieved.

After confirming that the demon left Parrish's body, she was very worried that he would be left with related after effects-for example, Parrish still remembered the demon, still remembered that she was very special to the demon, and because of this, would hand her over to the church.

Father Louis couldn’t heal the demon; could he still heal her?

If the church knew that she had special relations to the demon, she wouldn’t be able to explain it even if she had ten mouths. She was worried that she would be treated as a witch and be burnt at the stake!

Now, it seemed that Parrish neither remembered what happened when the demon had possessed him, nor did he intend to drive her away, so she was relieved.

When Anna hurried to the kitchen, she found her plastic friends were waiting for her.

They seemed to be a little uneasy. They weren’t talking amongst themselves, and they would occasionally dodge when they made eye contact with each other.

Seeing Anna, the three of them shuddered, Fiona gritted her teeth and walked over first, and the other two hurriedly followed.

"Anna, you're not angry with us, are you?" Fiona hesitated for a moment before asking.

The three of them hesitated for a whole morning before they mustered up the courage to come to her.

"No." Anna smiled and shook her head, "I guessed what was happening yesterday."

Hearing this, Abigail sighed for a long time, patted her chest and said: "That scared me to death. I knew you were super smart, Anna, and could guess the reason."

Naturally, Anna would not fully show her true self in front of the three of them, but it was impossible for her to act all the time, as her words and actions would always show a little. She reacted quickly and thought quickly, and could always easily keep up with their topics. Even a strict teacher like Rebecca had praised her, so they already had an impression in their hearts that Anna was very intelligent.

Kelly also had a lingering fear: "Anna, you don't even know how scary Young Master Parrish was at that time..."

Anna thought to herself, why wouldn’t she not know, she knew clearer than anyone, okay...

"Sorry, I was the one who caused you trouble." Anna apologized.

"It’s okay as long as you don’t blame us for bullying you by following Young Master Parrish's orders." Fiona shook her head. There were bags under her eyes, and she obviously didn't sleep well last night. "Then did you...see Young Master Parrish afterwards?"

Abigail and Kelly both looked at Anna, obviously eager to hear the answer.

"I did." Anna nodded. "He already knows that I have a lover, and he’ll probably give up in the future."

Now that the demon had left Parrish's body, she didn't have to worry about Parrish's proposal anymore, so it was fine to say so.

The three looked at each other, and when they heard Anna's words, they were not as excited as they had imagined.

Yesterday, the appearance of Young Master Parrish really scared them, and their thoughts toward him had weakened greatly.
