“The team will not be providing the guests with any meals. There are utensils and some ingredients in each of the houses. It’s up to you guys to decide what type of food you’d like to make,” the director said, giving him an introduction to today’s task.
It was snowing outside. Bai Qi was dressed in a blue down coat and had the same colored scarf wrapped around his neck. He carried a grey-blue umbrella as he walked away.
“I’ll just make a quick round and ask everyone else what ingredients they have. And, also ask who knows how to cook…”
Bai Qi was 1.78m tall and his legs were considerably long.
The cameraman almost couldn’t keep up with Bai Qi after he took his first step and started walking away.
The first stop was Zhou Yanfeng’s house because their house was the nearest to where Bai Qi was at that point.
“Knock, knock.” No one answered.
One of the directors then reminded him, “I think they’ve gone to Yang Yiru’s house.”
Bai Qi nodded. “Ah, I’ll go to Qiu Sichuan’s then!” Qiu Sichuan’s place was the second nearest.
When he arrived at the door of the two-story building, he rang the doorbell.
Very soon, someone opened the door.
“Are you here to stop by?” the person inside asked.
Bai Qi looked in the direction where the voice came from and noticed that it wasn’t Qiu Sichuan. Instead, a heroic and righteous-looking man came out to greet him; his features highly resembled the traditional facial aesthetic of Chinese men.
This man is Xu Yi, who is quite well-known for his beauty from his roles in period dramas.
Xu Yi froze for a second when he saw Bai Qi. “Hi there, you are…?”
He paused, and without waiting for Bai Qi to answer, he quickly smiled and said, “You don’t look like one of the program staff, are you a guest too?”
“Yup. Nice to meet you, I’m Bai Qi.” Bai Qi handed over a small basket filled to the brim with goodies.
“Here’s a first meeting gift for you guys,” he continued.
