Fascinating.

Beautiful.

Vast.

There are way too many descriptions that came to the duo's minds when they saw Shiro's calm eyes. Even Kouzuki didn't expect that its 'lethality' increased greatly due to his [Six Eyes]!

Fortunately, she is way too used to it, only getting surprised due to that increased charm of his. Though, the same couldn't be said for Kasumi.

Having been mesmerized by those pair of eyes, her mind is greatly shaken; a faint blush appeared on her face. While the others would try to shift their faces away due to this, she merely stared at him—the bits of memories that she saw in him.

This included bits of his early days up until the moment he regained a fraction of his memories. With her connection to Sumika, the 'strongest' being here, she can see through him albeit little.

After all, what made the entire Muv-Luv Unlimited and Alternative possible is due to Sumika's wills in countless parallel worlds converging, giving birth to something similar to a 'concept' that acted as its world will. The said world will is strong, if not the same, as Fate's Alaya and Gaia.

Hence, the name "Unlimited" that pertains to the protagonist's unlimited attempts; and "Alternative", the sole parallel world where Takeru succeeded due to his accumulation in those unlimited attempts.

'He... Just like me...'

Based on the fragmented memories that she saw, Kasumi easily put everything into place.

Confused. Lost. No sense of purpose.

Waking up one day without any prior memory is scary to the many, yet the only reason why Shiro overcame it easily is due to his max-level willpower. Clearly, he's no ordinary. Still, he felt those emotions for a few moments—when he is idling, looking at something in a daze...

Thus, meeting someone that knew him very well, Altera, made him happy. These depressing emotions that he used to feel before? Gone.

Though, Kasumi can understand him, even if not completely. As an artificially-born clone, she has no self. Only, what existed is the directives: to communicate with the BETAs.

If not for Kasumi forcing herself to stick into this purpose, she would've been lost. She won't have any purpose for living, so her ends will only be worse...

10 seconds had passed before Shiro stood up and confronted her, leaving a single sentence:

"Live for yourself."

Kasumi's eyes widened, but before she could react, Shiro disappeared. Kouzuki looked at this girl who was left with complicated feelings and sighed.

'A single word of his affected her this much..? As expected of him...'

A few hours later...

"Hm? Someone's trying to gather our information?" Shiro murmured as a prompt appeared on his [Augmented Glasses].

Just when they've arrived here in Columbia, he created a makeshift app together with Cardinal. This app contained the cyber-security measures that they set up, and one of them is an alarm whenever someone is 'spying' on their private information.

Since he and Surtr 'migrated' here plus the house's registration, they left a lot of traces.

"Rhine Labs..? Cardinal..."

"Done."

Right after Shiro broke through their first layer of defense, Cardinal did the rest and tracked down the main perpetrator of it.

"Energy Department... Under that Ferdinand guy? She's his favorite student?"

"Urbica Family. A major power in this country already contacted you."

Urbica Family is a former part of Gaul Empire—they're a branch of the Astrological School, to be exact. Reading constellations and giving future predictions are part of their skillset.

Way back then, Shiro saw the blue-haired girl who has the bearing of a Seer. He felt her abnormality and looked at her indirectly, in which he saw more about that power of hers.

Unlike originum that has the traces of Outer Gods, hers is a pure one. As long as she doesn't contract Oripathy, her divination powers will become even stronger. There's also a chance of her harnessing the power of the stars, granting her huge combat capabilities.

"I see. Might as well give her a visit now to settle things."

Shiro is not the one to let things slowly develop to its peak; rather, he would face it right now and get it over with. This might've stemmed from both the "Supreme Magus" and "Demon Emperor" who settled things early on.

"Shiro~! Are we going out today?"

Suddenly, a figure appeared from the corner of his sights. Wearing her outfit from Sword Art Online, Strea skipped cheerfully before she left the screen. Then, she appeared right beside the sofa.

Thanks to his [Augmented Glasses], they can 'interact' with the real world. Cardinal also used this method to talk with Shiro. In fact, Cardinal 'sat' in his lap all this time!

A faint smile is drawn on her face as she 'sensed' him in reality, even if not fully.

"We'll be leaving right now." He said.

"Alright~"

A second later, they disconnected from their 'local network' and transferred to the 'city-wide network'. Due to the special circumstances of Terra, they couldn't have any satellites in the sky, thus all they achieved is city-wide Internet. Still, these Internets can also connect whenever two or more nomadic cities come closer to each other.

It's also the reason for Surtr needing a special communicator that can contact him immediately.

As for the 'local network', these are the servers that Shiro had bought from the Store, something that he also installed in this house's basement. Of course, their security is nigh-impenetrable, with dozens of 9th-circle spells installed in this place. All they needed is an energy core, which is the Origin Crystals that Shiro had received from his crazy 120 pulls.

He then wore a new outfit consisting of black overcoat, black tie, and black pants. Switching to his [Special Sunglasses], Shiro opened an aurora curtain near Rhine Labs and left.

Unsurprisingly, he appeared on a dim alleyway. Rhine Labs is only a few dozen steps away, but a trouble came to him.

"The cliche." Shiro mumbled as he sensed some presences nearby.

Clang-! Clang-!

Blades clashed from a distance, resounding in this empty alleyway.

'Assassins? Oh, there's also the girl from before. How lucky.' He sarcastically thought while watching the battle that is about to come to an end.

The black-cloaked figures fell down one by one, either clutching their throats or having their head detached from their body. Five corpses littered the ground, their blood pooling in it.

"A sankta?" The sword-wielding girl mumbled before staring at Shiro's direction. However, she froze right after seeing his appearance.

"You've gone through many troubles to find me, young miss."

"!!!"

She went silent for a dozen seconds before she could speak once more.

"You... You're the cause of her blank future?"

Instead of outright confirming it, Shiro said with a smile:

"If you already saw that future, can you even consider it as the 'future' or... a 'possibility'?"

A/N: I forgot to mention this, but Chapter 1 is already revised. Moving on, I'm kinda looking forward to your reactions in the next chapter. That world is something else, even in my own opinion.  A final clue of mine would be... it'll be a rollercoaster reading through that arc (or so I think). Anyways, I'll be skipping on the fact today (since I'm quite busy today), but do look forward to the one tomorrow since it's something that I thought a week ago...

Please report us if you find any errors so we can fix it asap!
