Shiro sighed upon seeing this. He knew that she might be estranged to him due to his actions, but he didn't knew that it would be this bad.
'He deserves it.', he thought. Without him, things will most likely follow the pre-determined future of hers, with her living in this hell for 8 years straight.
Some of her suffering included her being ravaged by those worms that'll last for half a day straight at most. That all happened in the basement with the corpse of Kariya and Shinji's mother.
