A KANSEN is "walking" in the ocean through the keels installed to her feet. She has a carrier's landing area installed to her right arm whilst she carried a black bow with her left.
She wore a calm expression whilst staring vigilantly in the distance.
"The anchor has been installed."
In the past, an agreement was made. In exchange for their cooperation, the Ashes and the Sirens would have nothing to do with each other once they escape to the past timelines. However, this agreement became null as the Ashes faction changed their minds—that every single KANSEN is worth saving.
Hence, they started placing Anchors in every timeline, preventing the Sirens from changing the entire timeline easily. Simply put, a part of the timeline would turn into a singularity every time a Siren interferes with it.
Furthermore, these Anchors were made from the prototypes of what the KANSEN's commander had made. It is impossible to break them after installed, hence small-scale battles are already happening between them.
If not for the fact that they need to cooperate against the [Leviathans], they would've gone to war already.
As if hearing her voice, the approaching fleet of Sirens retreated from this timeline. Seeing this, the KANSEN withdrew her bow and prepared to leave.

Suddenly, she felt a very faint connection. It was so faint that it feels more of her imagination, but she didn't merely dismiss it as such.
"Shi...ro?"
The memories that she held so tightly resurfaced. Those times were peaceful and calm, yet no one didn't know that it is destined to be gone... forever.

Enterprise felt so confused that she doesn't look like the leader of the Ashes faction, but a confused young girl instead.

A frown appeared on Shiro's face as he felt something through his . It had merged with the , so he could feel everyone that are connected to him.
Just now, he felt a nostalgic connection with someone else. He sensed that her situation is dozens of times worse than the Magical Girls in Madoka's world, being on par with Homura's suffering.
"What's the problem?" Castoria asked worriedly as she saw the rare frown on his face.
"It's... I'll have to settle something... No, I'll fulfill a promise from long ago."
"With another woman?"
"...Yes." He didn't hesitate to add. "She's someone important to me."

Shiro saw her being silent and felt pain in his heart. He was supposed to spend time with her, but this one mishap might have hurt her. Castoria naturally doesn't want to share her love with others, but who's to blame when she's the one who persisted to love him?
In fact, she had accepted Nimi as Shiro's other lover as she was the first one to be at his side, but this entire thing of him being split into two came to her unexpectedly. This caused her to feel some entanglement in her heart. Still, her love is too strong to be affected by such feelings, thus she decided to accept it completely.

The third wheel, Justeaze, didn't feel anything as they watched the two of them flirting. With her mental resilience, everyone else would give her a standing ovation for not being sick from watching the couple do their thing.
