After they're done eating, the awkward silence came back. Thankfully, Shiro thought of surveying a potential battlefield. Since there's really nothing much to do, the two of them strolled in this rainforest.

Their first destination is the temple, Shiro's main goal. He had wanted to test whether the stranger will have some kind of strange connection with it.

On the way, he suddenly asked her, "What's your name? I can't just keep calling you 'you'."

"My name..."

She looked confused for a while before she thought of something. Just like Shiro, its something that existed deep in themselves. Even with a bunch of random memories that confused her up until now, this name popped up suddenly.

"Surtr."

"Surtr? Similar to the Surtr in the myths?

"What?"

"Nevermind."

Though, he found it quite strange ever since he discovered the existence of parallel worlds. Extreme coincidences such as this became possible due to it.

"You can call me Shiro. Also, it seems that we suffer the same problem..." He started talking about his days as he woke up and his amnesia. Unlike Surtr who got overloaded with memories, Shiro's memories are missing.

During this time, Shiro had done most of the talking as Surtr listened. All the time, she kept that expressionless face. Though unlike Kal'tsit's care for Terra, she seemed more detached to the world, seemingly having no care for it.

However, she still listened to the man who, in a sense, has a similar experience with her. Having problems with their memories, their identities are unclear.

"Wait a minute. You suffer from a unimaginable amount of memories, is that correct?"

"...Yes."

"What about sealing those memories? Make it so that you won't remember them?"

To this, she only went silent. It stayed this way until they arrived at the said temple which serves as an arena during Mahuizzotia, the selection of the great chief.

Tiacuhs are also present here, with some kids playing around there. Based on his sources, the current Great Chief lives in this place instead of his tribe. Coincidentally, it is Tomimi's tribe.

Seeing Shiro and Surtr, some Tiacuh has a surprised look but it disappeared upon hearing that they're Tomimi's guests.

'There's definitely something strange over there...'

'Something is... calling me?'

As they looked towards the temple, they both have similar yet different thoughts. The temple has several stairs, with speakers on top of each of them. There's also a fill lighting on both of its sides.

Those equipment are left by the Emperor, the founder of  Penguin Logistics, when he did a concert. He generously gave them as he saw that the people here really liked his concert. Though, there's also the part where the high priest and him are old acquaintances.

'There... No, it's underground.' Surtr thought. 'No, I shouldn't follow it. The person beside me had surely felt it as well.'

After she woke up, she still remembered a bit of their confrontation when she got taken over by something. Yes, he's very strong, but what made her sure of her guesses is that she could feel a faint wave of power emanating from him at all times.

That power is Shiro's mental power continuously scanning the surroundings. With it, he became somewhat similar to a humanoid radar.

Moments later, her guess were proven true.

"Hee... There's something interesting right there."

"So you know?"

"Yup. Should be related to you."

"What is it...?"

Seeing this, Shiro confirmed that her memories are jumbled, to the point that she couldn't even recall about her powers.

'She should be safe for now... right?' he thought. He and Kal'tsit are under the mission to stop that alien god, and with Surtr who seem to have a connected to it, it's imperative to confirm her status for now.

"Do you want to go?"

"...Not right now."

"Alright then. Let's go to other places. You might recall something useful to you."

Unfortunately, they went back to the house without any notable harvest. On the way, they visited the few more villages, including "Inam's Committe" that Tomimi mentioned before.

Just as expected, they're the most prosperous village here due to her connection with the outside world. Their village is also more convenient to live at thanks to the convenience that modern appliances gave.

"Hm... Here's another ice cream. You might get bored from sitting."

"...Thanks."

After entering the house, Surtr had nothing to do but to sit down on a chair. The detachment and confusion that she feels is still there, but she's starting to adapt on it. Right now, she could set aside some memories of hers at will.

Shiro entered his own room and connected the chat group to a smartphone of his. Then, he downloaded the files that contained the spreadsheet of the "Fate Series".

"Kuroneko sure is devoted with this. I owe her a favor."

More than 70% of any Fate-related content came from her. As for her sources, it was another friend of hers who is a Fate fan. It was also from her that she learnt of the existence of Romani, the temporary director of CHALDEA that helped Ritsuka Fujimaru solve the singularities that started from Fuyuki City.

When he was about to binge them, he noticed that the chat group became more active right now.

Touka: "I smacked a runaway criminal today with a ladle and came to the conclusion that magecraft is amazing. Thanks for the ladle, Shiro-san."

Kuroneko: "What an experience! Are you alright?"

Touka: "Yes. I took him down in one hit. That ladle is amazing."

Shiro: "No problem. That ladle sure is tough, its description never lied."

One of the rewards that Shiro got from his random spins, a Common Ladle, was given to Touka days ago. Though, he really didn't expect for her to use it as a weapon.

Well, anything with a Reinforcement can become one.

Kuroneko: "I'm envious. I couldn't even show the prowess of this queen to the world!"

Shiro: "...That might be a bad idea?"

Touka: "One day, scientists will come and abduct you."

Kuroneko: "I am not afraid of mere scientists!"

Shiro: "Ahem. Just be careful not to get caught, else you might have to use that [Travel] option."

The [Travel] option is just what is says. It allows someone to visit the world of other chat group members. Though, it costs more than 1,000 points per travel.

Meaning, one would need to have 2,000 points for a to-and-fro travel. Moreover, the daily logins count the "time spent" of the person instead of their world's time ratio.

Though, it can be exploited by those of whom are in dire need of strength. By going to a world with a faster time ratio, they'll become stronger even though only a few days had passed in their world.

Kuroneko: "Why am I unlucky? I kept getting 20-something points every day!"

Touka: "You get 20? You must be really unlucky."

Kuroneko: "How about you? Is it 30? 40? or 50?"

Touka: "Somewhere between 70 and 80. Wow, I got a 93 just now."

Kuroneko: "Kuh..! Why only me?!"

Looking at the screen, Shiro somehow felt that Ruri is whining in her real world. Seeing this, he decided to console her. Scratch that, a bit of mischief rose up within him just now.

Shiro: "Now, now. If you need some points, I can give you some."

Kuroneko: "Really? Shiro-san?"

Shiro: "Yup. I seldom get something below 95 points anyway."

Kuroneko: "..."

Minutes passed and she never replied again. Shiro gave her 200 points as he laughed a bit at himself.

Touka: "The truth of the world is too much for her to handle."

Shiro: "Relying on random probabilities is often unreliable."

Touka: "I have to work. Thank you for the ladle again, Shiro-san."

"Hah. I am the one to say about relying on luck. I'll keep my random spins a secret, so I should tell Shinji-kun to keep it from others too."

Just as he was about to close the chat group, his phone rang as someone chatted again.
