Surprisingly, he let go of his black sword as he executed a downward punch at a lizardman's head. Then, he leaped upwards and caught of his sword once more - his sword blazed in white flames as he cut the lizardman in half, killing it in one hit.
', alright.' he thought as he ducked, avoiding the machete swung at him by another lizardman.
Injecting mana to his black sword, he beheaded three of them in one breath. Their heads flew, but it didn't serve any deterrence whatsoever to the monsters.
As he kept the mana inside his black sword, he decided to execute another sword skill, . Approaching a lizardman, he positioned his sword higher than his head before cutting down diagonally.
The lizardman, which was slow to react, had its HP bar decrease by more than 20%.
"Hup!"
Unexpectedly, Shiro twisted his wrist and swung it upwards, leaving the lizardman airborne with less than 50% of its HP remaining. Contrary to the other's expectations, Shiro left it and went towards the lizardman beside it.
It tried to swing its iron machete at him, but Shiro easily avoided it and tackled it with his left shoulder before he swung his sword downwards at it.
He tackled it once more, swinging his sword at the direction of its head, depleting its HP to near 5%.
Ending this sword skill, he went back towards the lizardman who's already standing up, swinging his sword at his neck and effectively killing it.
"Tsk. There's still ten more..!"
Shiro brought out his and imbued it with flames using his buff, [Blazing Heart (A)]. When he came to Aincrad, the only thing that haven't changed is his buffs, which served as another advantage of his.
He directed the dagger to target the back of the heads of each lizardmen present in this room, dealing constant damage to them.

At this moment, the kobolds threw themselves at him. Armed with axes and maces, they swung it at him, but to no avail. Shiro parried the incoming attacks, allowing him to attack them once they've entered into a stun-like state. He slowly thinned out their numbers, but their strength lies in it.
After he killed three, two more would pop up and replace their positions. With this, Shiro felt how it would feel like being in the middle of a demon swarm.
(A/N: In Memory Defrag, a monster would be in a 'stun' state for 1~2 seconds after you parry their attacks. Though, the skill is required to do this in canon. One can still do this without it, but it'll be much shorter)
"It's time to use it... [Time Quagmire]!" Once he activated it, his vision became pure gray, with some thin white lines forming a grid. At this state, time is slowed down for his enemies while he retains the normal time flow.
Unlike Emiya Kiritsugu's "Time Alter", it directly controls the time of a target. Meaning, it doesn't require the practitioner to open up something similar to a Bounded Field, and instead controls the time flow of the target directly. Moreover, it's also not as dangerous as Kiritsugu's magecraft.
Shiro can also accelerate his own time while slowing down the time of his enemies, but he would only do this if things are dire.
He swung down his sword to a kobold midair, cutting it in half before it turned into blue fragments. The fragments didn't disappear quickly, however, since it is also under the effect of [Time Quagmire].
Shiro then brought out his [Intrinsic Reaper] and escaped from the encirclement formed by them. By the time he cancelled it, a huge amount of mana was already injected into the gun.
"Bye bye."
The moment the purple sphere passed through the magic circles, its destructive power became more horrifying. Thanks to his calculations, it landed straight in the middle of kobolds and lizardmen, engulfing them in a massive explosion that encased the entire trap room.
Only Shiro could be left unscathed as he formed a thick [Wind Barrier], depleting the rest of his mana.
Seeing that most of the monsters are dead, he finished the rest before plopping down in the floor.
"Hah. This feels even more tiring than my fight with Surtr."
In their battle, things were settled in less than 3 minutes, unlike now. In this room alone, he fought for a total of ten minutes, with him parrying and counterattacking taking the most out of his time. His ability [Counter] alleviated some of his burden, but it's meant to be used more on one-on-one fights.
Though, his mental fatigue became better as he saw the fruits of his labor in the past 3 hours.
