116 Ch. 116 Anxia Is Jealous
Anxia realized that her husband’s gaze was starting to dart in all directions, avoiding her. She couldn’t help but feel suspicious of her husband. Richard might have feelings for his cousin, even if it was only a spurt woman. After all, what man wouldn’t fall for that lady Q at first sight?
Anxia suddenly became insecure about herself. When she heard Richard confess how much he adored her body and loved her, Anxia felt herself to be a beautiful and perfect woman.

You always occupy my thoughts, and I often feel scared when I wake up and can’t see you. You have no idea how broken my heart was when I thought you would walk away from me that night.” Richard joined his forehead against his wife’s, making Anxia look down shyly at their faces’ closeness.
“How about you?”
Anxia glanced at Richard with an uncomprehending look.
“I already said that I love you. How about you?”
“I... I don’t know what love is.” Anxia lowered her head even more because she felt that her heart was not strong enough to receive the affectionate gaze from that man’s eyes.
She does thirst for love, but love as a family member. Receiving the love of a man who wanted to treat her as his queen, Anxia didn’t know how to react.
Richard put his index finger under Anxia’s chin and lifted it slowly, inviting her gently to look at his eyes. “I can teach you.”
Well, wasn’t that what Richard had been doing all along? He told Anxia to figure out how to please and try to rely on him. Anxia complied, and subconsciously, during the ‘mission’ that Richard gave her, Anxia sincerely wanted to do something that would please him. And that she did by cooking him his favorite dish.
Richard never thought or hoped that his wife would cook for him, considering how bad Anxia was at cooking. Nevertheless, she did, and it was the most enjoyable dish he had ever had.

“Is Lady Q your cousin?”
“You can say that.”
“What does it mean?”
“Her father is my mother’s older brother. So we are cousins.”
“But why did she want to marry you if you are blood family.”
“No. We are not related by blood at all.”
Anxia’s brow furrowed; she didn’t like hearing this. “You are not related by blood? Didn’t you say her father was your mother’s brother?”
“To make it short, the Prussia king took my mother as his illegitimate daughter right after she was born. Everyone thought my mother was the king’s daughter and the younger sister of the other king’s sons. Ultimately, it was discovered that my mother was not his biological child.
