166 Ch. 166 Bad Feeling
Anxia managed to shake off her anxiety and enjoy small talk with her two sisters-in-law. It wasn’t long before Anxia felt two pairs of eyes fixing on the direction where they were, making Anxia glance towards the source of the two pairs of eyes. Her heart became relieved when she saw two similar faces walking towards them.
“Hey, they’re here.”
Harmonie and Michele glanced at where Anxia was pointing, and their expressions brightened as they saw two men trying to make their way through the crowd to where they were.
Anxia watched the two look-alike people with a frown and suddenly realized if not for their different hair colors, one would never be able to tell the two apart.
“Moni, have you ever taken your brother for another?”
“Of course I have. Especially when they switch places.”
“They ever switch places??”
Anxia and Michele asked simultaneously, making Anxia frown in confusion. Michele had been married to Raymond for six years but didn’t know that her husband had switched places with his twin brother.
“They used to switch places a lot. But they haven’t done it since Rei settled down. Richie even deliberately dyed his hair brighter so people around him wouldn’t mistake him for Rei or vice versa.” If Richard had bright brown hair, then Raymond still had his original hair color―dark reddish brown.

Harmonie was still smiling when her two older siblings arrived at their place and squealed in surprise when Richard cupped her face and pinched her cheek fondly.
“Moni, next time, tell us your location in detail.”
“Ow ... it hurts,” Moni grumbled while asking her other brother for help.
But Raymond smiled crookedly and then glanced at his wife. “Michele, why didn’t you check your phone? What’s the point of having a phone if you never check it?”

Without realizing it, Michelle shifted towards Anxia and tugged at the girl’s light jacket hem. Realizing that Michele was asking for her help and Richard still hadn’t stopped pinching Harmonie’s cheeks making the poor girl wave at Anxia, ??Anxia immediately responded and caught the two’s attention.
“You guys were gone too long, so we decided to go out for a bit of sightseeing. But the city view was too beautiful, so informing you must’ve slipped our mind.”
Michele and Harmonie nodded to agree with Anxia’s explanation. Richard and Raymond froze in place and looked at each other in astonishment. They weren’t confused because of Anxia’s description, but they were stunned by how Michele was shifting towards Anxia while Anxia was pulling Michele’s hand back as if the girl was trying to protect Michele from bad people.
Since when did their two wives become close? They even saw Anxia and Michele holding hands!
Because Richard was too overwhelmed by the sudden change between the ladies, he stopped his pinching subconsciously, giving Harmonie a chance to escape.
Harmonie stroked her cheeks while making a sullen face. “You haven’t changed at all. Have you forgotten that I’m not a child anymore?”
“Your cheeks are still as soft as a marshmallow. Don’t blame me.”
“Anxia, your hubby bullied me.” Harmonie’s complaint made her two older siblings laugh.
“Don’t worry. I’ll settle a score with him tonight to avenge you.” Anxia lightly joked around to suit the mood.
“I’ll be looking forward to it.” for some reason, Richard sounded enthusiastic about accepting his wife’s punishment.
“No need. I will tell you now. I’m going to sleep in Lori’s room tonight.”
Instantly Richard’s face turned pale while Harmonie laughed heartily, and Raymond and his wife smiled in amusement.
“Xia Xia.” suddenly, Richard put on a puppy face and walked over to his wife to talk her out of punishing him that way. Not sleeping together was the most severe punishment he received. “Xia Xia, you know I can’t sleep without you.”
“Who sneaked out of the room yesterday and slept with someone else.”
Richard and Raymond froze, remembering that neither of them had slept with his wife last night.
“Ah, that’s right. You also didn’t sleep with me last night even though you said you couldn’t sleep without me by your side,” added Michele, aiming at her husband, causing the brothers to be drenched in a cold sweat.
Why would their wives join hands to corner them? They were pleased to see the improvement in their wives’ relationship, but not like this.
“You … since when did you become this close?” for the first time in his memory, Richard didn’t like his wife’s attachment to Michelle.
“Seconded. Do you have a grudge against us?” added Raymond agreeing with his brother. He also seemed dissatisfied with the closeness of the two ladies only to corner them.
“Can we stop and go back to our main mission? We’re here to please Harmonie, aren’t we?” Richard surrendered and decided to beg his wife along with Michele.
“What do you mean by pleasing me?” Harmonie caught the whispering voices of her two brothers, and she overheard the words that said they came here to please her. Like it or not, Moni was curious and wanted to hear more about it.
But her two annoying brothers didn’t want to tell her and just put on a mysterious smile making Moni feel annoyed. In the end, the girl asked her in-laws―demanded an explanation from Anxia and Michele, and they gladly told her what her family was planning to cheer her up.
Harmonie was surprised at first to hear this explanation, but then she burst out laughing while holding her brothers’ hands.
“You guys don’t need to think of ways to cheer me up. Being with you like this delighted me the most.” Harmonie chirped, making Richard and Raymond smile happily.

Suddenly there was a burst of fireworks and thousands of colors adorning the night sky beautifully. The sound of the explosions and the glow of the fireworks made everyone in the river lift their heads.
Anxia also initially looked up to see the beautiful sky decorated with various colors, but once again, she felt chills run down her spine. She was now twice as agitated as before and immediately looked around to find out what was wrong.
When her eyes caught Michele’s smiling face and gasping in admiration while looking up, Anxia’s killer instincts sprang into action.

Even before the gunshots rang out, Anxia had already dashed toward Michele and pushed the girl away with her own body―both of them fell on the ground hard, with Michele beneath Anxia.
