“Im……expelled?”
The principal sighed.
“Think about my position here! What would you do in my position?”
The principal seemed angry.
“What…do you mean?”
“Do you think I’m able to expel you!?”
So I’m not going to be suspended?
“I told you didn’t I! You’re representing the school! Royal families are coming to watch this! Do you know what would happen to me if I expelled you!?”
“I-i see.”
Since aristocrats and royalty have contributed to the school it seems I’m not an easy person to get rid of.
“You won’t be allowed in here in the future!”
“Hhhhhh…. OK I understand.”
“Hold out your hand.”
“Huh? My hand?”
“You know about the sacrifice oath?”
What did she just say?
“It doesn’t seem like you know, it’s basically a contract with me that means you can’t enter this room anymore.”

“A normal person would die at that point but, what about you? Would you want to drop your without your magic?”

No I got it, two red eyes, and once I accept all the abyss from Bell I’ll become immoral.

“What do you mean dropping? Lose my freedom?”
“It doesn’t say in the book either. I assume it means that immortality is sort of a deprivation of freedom.”

Then why is there different words for being stained in the abyss and falling?
“Use the nucleus as a sacrifice and forbid yourself from entering the room.”

I didn’t quite understand but I repeated it. When I did I felt what felt like a heavy weight settle in around my heart.

“Once you step out of this room, you can never enter again. If you do you’ll lose your mana.”
I was stunned.
“Its a forbidden technique but I did it for the sake of the world. And your sake as well.”
She got up from the window.
“Now go, and don’t use the abyss anymore.”
The principal marched me to the door then opened it for me.
“Forget everything you saw here and don’t enter this room again.”
“Sorry.”
I walked away and heart the door close behind me. When I looked back there was noone there, so I put my hand on my chest and…
“《Soul Break》”
I didn’t think I would be a match for such magic and didn’t really expect anything to happen but…. A magic circle appeared at my feet, then another one around my heart. After a moment both of them shattered and the weight was lifted from my heart. In other words I’d returned to normal.
“Ha….hahahaha.”
I laughed inadvertently.
“Halekuwait, you’re not very scary are you.”
The book in my storage should hold the key to saving Toa but if not…I can just go to the room again.
“Hahahaha.”
I laughed hard and couldn’t help but ridicule the principal and this school who’s magic was overcome so easily and wouldn’t teach me the magic I needed.
“Hahahaha.”
It seems not even legends match up to me. I am a king candidate.
