This Qiu Zhenyang is really not right. Putting aside his hatred after dissolving the marriage contract, even the average alphas don’t like him very much. Most alphas turn their noses up because his appearance is not delicate and his expression is too fierce. In addition, he ignores most people, so them not disturbing him is already good.

What’s more, Qiu Zhenyang has always hated him, so how could he can suddenly be so friendly.

After thinking it through, Ling Mu replied coldly: “You don’t need to apologize to me. It was my mother’s idea.”

Ling Mu was also very reluctant about this matter. After his father died, his mother hooked up with other men within a year. This already made Ling Mu very angry. Then, the condition for her staying in a wealthy family was still to set his life-long event1marriage – how could he not hate it?

He understands Qiu Zhenyang’s attitude towards him. After all, the Qiu family is the Chief Legion family of the Federation. His grandfather is an honorary marshal, his father is a five-star general, his brother is a lieutenant general, and his mother is the second daughter of a pharmaceutical family. He really can’t match him.

But understanding is just understanding. Qiu Zhenyang has treated him coldly for many years, and Ling Mu has long held no extravagant hopes for him.

Yes, he used to have hope, and even felt fortunate and happy about his marriage with Qiu Zhenyang before. After all, which omega doesn’t want an excellent alpha?

He might seem cold and hard, but nature was hard to change. He was still an omega who longed to be cared for and loved.

It’s a pity that fate failed him. The person he longed for fell in love with others, and he became the most disgusting omega in the eyes of others. Whether it is the past, the present, or the future, their lives will not have any intersection.

Seeing Ling Mu’s eyes gradually getting colder, Qiu Zhenyang was a little overwhelmed.

He rubbed his hands together. He knew that his sudden change of attitude would make Ling Mu suspicious, but he couldn’t help say, “I know I treated you very badly in the past, but it was all because I was forced into the marriage contract. I was uncomfortable, it wasn’t because of you. I’ve figured it out now, and regret it, so… can we reconcile?”

“…Reconcile my ass!” Ling Mu shot him a stern look, and turned his back on him.

Words are easy to say, who knows if they’re true or false? This kind of wealthy kid likes to tease people the most. Maybe he’s bored, and here to make fun of him. Ling Mu refused to be fooled!

Qiu Zhenyang choked. Knowing that he might not be comfortable with the other party’s sudden favor, he didn’t continue, and asked about something else.

“Then, Ling Mu, do you have enough alien beast cores to pass the test?” Qiu Zhenyang glanced at the cowhide bag beside Ling Mu. He took it off when helping Ling Mu undress, and knew from the weight that the contents could not meet the standard at all.

After all, he is an omega. No matter how powerful he is, his physical quality is innately inferior to those alphas and betas. He simply cannot pass the test alone. Moreover, this time, there are over 100,000 students competing, and only 10,000 will be accepted. Facing such strong competition, even alphas might not be able to pass.

In the original text, Ling Mu was unable to enter the Interstellar Academy because he did not have enough crystal cores.

Ling Mu who had already put on his clothes, glanced at him and said nothing. His crystal nuclei did not reach the standard, but there was no reason to tell Qiu Zhenyang.

Being ignored again, Qiu Zhenyang was a little helpless, but fortunately he was thick-skinned. Sympathizing with what happened to Ling Mu in the original text, he continued: “I got a lot of cores, and will share some with you. We can discuss after the test.”

“No need.” Ling Mu frowned and refused directly.

“Are you embarrassed to take my things for nothing?” Qiu Zhenyang raised his brows slightly. Suddenly he grinned, revealing his big white teeth. “It’s okay, I’ll just take this!”

He got up and walked over in three or two steps. Bending down to face Ling Mu, who raised his head in shock, he kissed him.

“I’ll kill you!”

An angry roar came from a cave in the Interstellar Academy test site.

Ling Mu’s red eyes drew out a small knife and stabbed directly at the frivolous Qiu Zhenyang.

“Ah, I just give you a kiss, what’s the matter?” Qiu Zhenyang dodged Ling Mu’s attack with a light smile, and easily pinched the person in his arms helplessly. “Don’t be always full of malice towards me, okay? I just want to help you. The test is about to end, and it’s too late to get more crystal cores. When you were in heat, you didn’t want to call a teacher, so you obviously don’t want to be eliminated, right?”

Qiu Zhenyang held Ling Mu in his arms. The boy’s solid chest muscles were attached to his front body. Strong and powerful arms lay across his waist, and the warm and powerful breath tightly wrapped him.

They had just completed a temporary mark, and with the sudden movement, their secretly blending pheromones came to the forefront in the small cave. The throbbing in their bodies can’t be blocked at all in such close proximity!

His face turned red in an instant, and he was unable to mask the expression on his face, which Qiu Zhenyang saw.

Qiu Zhenyang laughed, causing his chest to vibrate, making Ling Mu, who directly felt it, a mess.

“You laugh!” The young man roared fiercely. But his body was extremely honest, and his limp limbs couldn’t escape Qiu Zhenyang’s embrace.

“Okay, okay, I won’t laugh anymore, I’ll be serious.” Qiu Zhenyang restrained his expression, but there was still a smile in his eyes. “I don’t mean to humiliate you. I just want to help you. Can’t you just accept it?”

Ling Mu stopped struggling, but his brows were still tightly wrinkled.

Since his father’s death, facing his mad mother2His mother isn’t crazy or psychotic, but her actions are unable to be rationally understood, a younger sister who needs to be taken care of, Ling Mu has developed a stubborn temperament of independence. He worked hard to survive, and gradually stopped trusting others after meeting too many wicked people.

Moreover, there was an insurmountable gap between Qiu Zhenyang and him. He just wanted to stay away from this person.

Without waiting for Qiu Zhenyang to say anything, the timer on the wrists of the two suddenly made a beeping sound.

“All students, please note that there are still three hours before the end of the test. Please arrive at the nearest lighthouse within three hours for the final evaluation. Those who have exceeded the time limit will be disqualified.”

The cold mechanical voice entered the scene In the ears of each student, leaving everyone with different thoughts.

Qiu Zhenyang glanced at the timer on his wrist, then looked at Ling Mu, and winked at him.

Ling Mu bit his lip, and there was a tingling pain from the previously injured lip. He frowned and pushed Qiu Zhenyang again, and this time the other party let go.

Without a word, he picked up his coat, pursed his lips, and left the cave.

“Oh, really awkward…” Qiu Zhenyang sighed, kicked the fire a few times to put it out, and then went out.

—–

Qiu Zhenyang followed three meters behind Ling Mu to the closest lighthouse. He watched the boy walk forward silently, not knowing if it would be bad for him to change the plot like this.

But he really couldn’t let go of Ling Mu. When he first saw this character, he couldn’t help it. And now that he met him through magical transmigration, it was even harder to let go.

As they got closer and closer to the lighthouse, meeting many students on the way, Qiu Zhenyang met several former high school friends.

Fortunately, when his writer friend created the protagonist gong, he based him on Qiu Zhenyang. Not only is the name the same, but the character is about 90% similar. With the easily recallable memories of the original body, it is very easy for Qiu Zhenyang to adapt after transmigrating. he doesn’t even need to pretend much.

“Zhenyang, how’s the harvest?” As people stepped up to the lighthouse, a boy came from behind and patted Qiu Zhenyang on the shoulder, and asked with a smile.

“Just passing.” Qiu Zhenyang shrugged. Based on memory, this guy is someone the original body knew from childhood, and had a strong relationship.

Yuan Chenyu shouted: “No way? Who bet with me that he must be the first? Besides, wasn’t Cheng Anan’s condition is for you to be the first in the test? Should brother3brother as in “I” give you some to make sure you’re number one?”

Cheng Anan4Do y’all like ” Anan ” or ” An’an “? is the protagonist shou in the original text, the omega that the original body chased for a year. Due to his prominent status and high-profile behavior, almost everyone in high school knew about his pursuit of Cheng Anan, but the original body only told a few close friends the conditions for his agreement.

“No need, some things can’t be forced.” Qiu Zhenyang smiled indifferently.

The original body liked the protagonist, but not him. He doesn’t worry over someone he doesn’t like. Besides, Qiu Zhenyang was very unhappy about the condition proposed by the protagonist shou himself. First in the test? Is he, Qiu Zhenyang, just a tool man, for you to show off? He wanted to see how the protagonist shou would behave if he couldn’t get the first place.

Qiu Zhenyang’s reaction surprised Yuan Chenyu. Before the test, Qiu Zhenyang swore that he would catch up with Cheng Anan. It’s only been a few days, and suddenly the attitude has changed, which is really unpredictable.

But now is not the right time to ask in detail. Yuan Chenyu changed the topic and said, “Ah, anyway, dinner is on the loser. I won’t be polite!”

“Got it, you can eat whatever you want.” Qiu Zhenyang laughed as he looked at Yuan Chenyu, who got his answer and rushed to the lighthouse. Shaking his head, his eyes drifted to the person in front again.

Ling Mu has been walking in front of him. Because he was almost in heat and was temporarily marked, his body was still a little weak, so he walked slowly.

Speaking of which, if Qiu Zhenyang hadn’t been watching from behind him along the way, who knows how many times he would have been robbed.

In the test, as long as no human life is harmed, snatching crystal cores or other materials is normal. After all, this is also an assessment of a student’s qualifications. Ling Mu, an omega lone ranger, is simply a living target. If it weren’t for the protection of Qiu Zhenyang’s powerful pheromone, the cores on his body would have been robbed long ago.

Seeing the towering lighthouse reaching the clouds in front of him, the person in front of him suddenly stopped.

Qiu Zhenyang seemed to be aware of it. Stepping forward calmly, he took out two level 3 crystal cores from his cowhide bag and handed them over.

The line for passing is 100 first-level crystal cores. One third-level core is equivalent to 50 first-level cores.

Ling Mu looked down at the crystal core in Qiu Zhenyang’s hand, and the tips of his ears slowly turned red.

“…Thank you, I will pay you back.” He said this in a low voice, frowning, as if he was angry with himself.

He can’t lose this spot, because only the Interstellar Academy allows omegas to learn the skills to control mecha. If he loses this opportunity, it means that he will never be able to touch his father’s beloved mecha again in his life…

Since leaving the cave, Ling Mu has been struggling to decide whether to accept Qiu Zhenyang’s crystal cores. The strong pheromone of the young man has followed behind him. The smell of sunlight is warm and powerful, and he can clearly feel seeming to protect him. In the end, perhaps it was the impact of the temporary marker that enabled Qiu Zhenyang’s protective actions break his psychological defense, or whether it was his longing for his father and his obsession with mecha that prevailed. In short, Ling Mu still made the decision and took the step.

Qiu Zhenyang couldn’t help curling his lips, with the urge to tease him. “Pay me back? You know, I don’t lack these.”

The bad attitude made Ling Mu’s embarrassment dissipate a lot. He unhappily rolled his eyes at him. “Whatever you want is okay, as long as it’s something I can afford.”

“Really… anything I want?” Qiu Zhenyang lowered his voice wickedly, afraid he would be too embarrassed. Seeing Ling Mu’s face instantly flush, wrinkling his nose and wanting to hit someone, he cleared his throat. “Well, okay, I believe you.”

The last 3 words made Ling Mu’s outstretched hand pause. His neck was red as he quickly grabbed the cores, lowered his head, and almost fled to the teachers at the lighthouse entrance.

Seeing the fleeing back of the young man, Qiu Zhenyang laughed with sparkling eyes.

You know, if such a lovely young man did not experienced those pains, how could he be disappointed in this world?

QZY is a bit of a rogue, but only to LM.

And please share if you prefer “Cheng An’an” or “Cheng Anan”. The latter feels a bit weird visually, but the former is a pain to think through when translating conjunctions.
