Not long after the ghost waiter had gone, Bai Lixin held the doll head in one hand, pulled Dijia in the other, and directly activated the invisibility card.

In the long, dark corridor, a door opened silently and closed on its own.

One man and one ghost stepped on the soft carpet and silently followed the waiter.

After a while, they saw the waiter stop in front of an empty white wall.

The waiter stretched out his dry index finger and pushed it at a certain point on the white wall.

The square white wall was pushed up and a hidden digital combination lock was revealed inside the wall.

The ghost waiter extended his index finger and placed it on the number “2”.

Bai Lixin quietly walked to the wall and watched its movements.

Suddenly, the flat head turned around, and the two eyes, which were already about to fall out, looked straight in Bai Lixin and Dijia’s direction.

Bai Lixin held his breath.

The round head tilted its head to look at the flat head, “What’s wrong?”

A dry voice came out of the flat head’s mouth, “It seems that something unclean is following.”

The round head turned in confusion and followed the flat head’s line of sight, “I don’t see anything.”

The flat head spoke word for word, “Use, your, hand, touch, feel, see.”

The waiter withdrew his finger from the button. His twisted body slowly began to move closer in Bai Lixin’s and Dijia’s direction, not forgetting to stretch out a hand to try and touch as he moved.

Bai Lixin and Dijia glanced at each other, and just when the waiter was about to grab them, Dijia and Bai Lixin tacitly grabbed each other, spinning on their toes and bending their bodies as they flexibly dodged each of the attempts.

On several occasions, the ghost’s hand was just a centimeter or two away from touching the two.

The invisibility card was down at the last minute.

Suddenly, the watch in the waiter’s hand rang out. The waiter froze, hurriedly turned off the sound from the watch, and quickly entered a few numbers into the wall.

The countdown for the Invisibility card duration was left with only the last 10 seconds.

With the input of the key to the combination lock, an elevator suddenly appeared on the flat white wall.

The waiter quickly entered the elevator, and as he walked in, the round head spat at the flat head “There’s nothing there at all. You do this every time, goddammit. It’s your fault that we’re late, and there’s probably nothing left from the staff meal. We’ll have to eat the scraps!”

The flathead was not convinced. “There really was something. I could smell it. Let’s look again if you don’t believe me.”

The countdown to invisibility was left with only 3 seconds.

The round head poked its head out and looked around for a moment, then retracted just when the countdown had entered its final second.

Bai Lixin and Dijia pressed themselves against the wall next to the elevator, and their translucent bodies gradually took on a solid form.

“I looked again. There’s nothing there at all!”

Flathead, “I want to also check it out!”

Round head, “And still want to look?! Hurry up, close the doors, and we go eat. I’m hungry if you’re not.”

During the long and winded argument, the elevator doors slowly closed and the white wall that had been opened, closed again.

Bai Lixin let out a long breath and walked over to the white wall. He found that there was no longer a gap in it and that the combination lock had disappeared.

He followed his memory to the place where the waiter had stood a moment ago, and with a gentle push, the combination lock reappeared.

In order to avoid the waiter’s hands, he and Dijia had to press themselves to the corner of the wall, and he could not see the ghost waiter’s key code from that angle.

But from the positioning of his finger, he had roughly deduced the combination.

20201845.

This was the key for this floor, so what about the other floors?

Was it the same? Or would it change?

He glanced at Dijia and pointed to the darkened corridor not too far from the elevator.

If the ghost waiter hadn’t told him, and he’d not seen the female ghost walk through there, Bai Lixin wouldn’t have even thought that there was a staircase.

It was too spooky.

That part of the staircase was so dark that nothing could be seen at a glance.

The stairs on the ground floor and the upper floors were misaligned, but they still looked normal.

But he could feel the eerily cool air burrowing out from these stairs here.

Take the stairs or the elevator?

Only a fool would take the stairs.

Bai Lixin calculated that the waiter had reached the ground floor and quickly entered the key to the combination lock.

The wall opened and the elevator appeared.

One man and one ghost stepped into the elevator, and Bai Lixin found the button for the 19th floor.

The 19th floor button on the elevator was still keyed off.

Sure enough, it was a special elevator that went straight to everything!

It was only one floor away, and the doors opened before Bai Lixin could even settle in.

Bai Lixin froze for a few seconds the moment he stepped out of the elevator.

He would have thought he was in the wrong place if he hadn’t just come down the long corridor on the 18th floor.

The 19th floor didn’t have the décor of a hotel. It was more like a corridor in an old, dilapidated residential building.

Both the corridor and the rusted white iron security doors gave Bai Lixin an illusion of dreaming back to the 80s.

The corridor was very narrow, and the dim yellow light overhead flickered from time to time, and as it did so, the gas in the incandescent bulbs made an eerie “stinging” sound.

The cramped, dirty corridors alternated between dark and light as the lights flickered.

Some of the iron doors were cluttered with cardboard boxes, others with shoe cabinets, and one even had a pram.

The walls overhead were peeling, and there were cobwebs in the corners.

Was this a space set inside a space?

The female ghost must be very powerful. The 19th floor was obviously influenced by her power and it became a living environment most familiar to her.

To be able to directly influence the environment in a supernatural hotel, this female ghost’s ability should not be underestimated.

With so many rooms, where was that female ghost living? Were the two teammates she had caught here?

Bai Lixin and Dijia looked at each other and walked down the corridor.

They hadn’t been gone long when they heard the sound of smashing and arguing coming from the first room.

“You bastard! I’m doing your laundry and cooking for you every day. I don’t even go to work because of you, and you’re out keeping another woman!”

“Go to hell, you yellow-faced woman. Am I the one who told you not to work? You’re obviously a loser! You’re a chicken that can’t lay eggs!”

“I can’t have children because of you! If it wasn’t for you telling me to abort the baby, would I be unable to conceive again because of a failed operation? You bastard, it’s all your fault!!! If you’re going to die, just die, and then go to hell. ”

Bai Lixin paused.

Could the one arguing be the female ghost?
