“I’m talking to you.” Pei Zhen was somewhat annoyed by the lack of response from Fu Sichen. He lifted his foot and kicked Fu Sichen. “Your head is always full of dirty thoughts.”
It was a light kick, but it caused Fu Sichen much amusement. He laughed. “You seem to know what I’m thinking without needing me to say it aloud.”
“How would I not know?” Pei Zhen leaned in closer to Fu Sichen, almost breathing into the man’s ear. He said seductively, “You’re thinking that I should be putting my hand to good use on your big jewel.”
What ‘big jewel’ meant, the two men had an unspoken understanding.
It was a rare occasion that Fu Sichen would turn a little red at the tips of his ears from Pei Zhen’s words. But even then, he was unabashed as he lifted his head and looked at Pei Zhen with his eyes ablaze. “Yes?”
“In your dreams.”
Pei Zhen gave him a dirty look and retracted his hand. It was in broad daylight, and furthermore, they were at the filming location. Pei Zhen certainly wasn’t going to be as shameless as Fu Sichen.
“I’m asking you a question. Stop thinking about other things.”
“Cough, cough.” Fu Sichen sat up properly, having had his cover blown. “I don’t think so. We’ve been cautious, haven’t we?”
Pei Zhen rolled his eyes.
It was quite an incredulous idea to think that someone who jumped over the balcony every night would believe that they had been cautious.
“Uncle and Aunty are just concerned about your health, I’m sure. You’ve lost weight recently.” Holding Pei Zhen’s wrist, Fu Sichen’s expression was gloomy and pensive. “Stop losing weight.”
“If I don’t, I’ll look fat on camera,” saying that, Pei Zhen couldn’t resist adding, “And stop cooking such delicious meals.”
Fu Sichen suddenly lightened up. “This is quite impossible.”
It was a well-known fact that the way to someone’s heart was through the stomach. In Pei Zhen’s presence, Fu Sichen wasn’t going to hide his strengths.
“Pei Pei.” Fu Sichen remembered the chocolate bites that he had made previously and tempted Pei Zhen. “Let’s have dinner together tonight?”
Pei Zhen raised an eyebrow. “Don’t we have filming tonight?”
“Let’s try and get that done by this afternoon.” Fu Sichen challenged him swiftly. “In any case, I’m sure I can complete my filming this afternoon, but you might not be able to?”
“Huh. Who do you think you’re talking to?” Obviously Pei Zhen knew that it was Fu Sichen’s strategy to get him to agree, but still, he bit the bait. “Daddy would surely be ahead of you.”
Fu Sichen’s expression was pensive. “Yes, you are quick. A man quick in every way.”
Pei Zhen narrowed his eyes. For some reason, he felt that Fu Sichen’s remark had a hidden meaning. It was just as annoying as being labeled impotent!
It was always a great joy to film with someone who was a highly-skilled actor.
Fu Sichen and Pei Zhen were both talented actors. Before the camera, they slipped into their roles quickly and got all their lines right. All afternoon they prodded each other on and completed the filming, the chemistry was so good they could stay in their characters forever. It was marvelous!
“Daddy.” Xiao Nian followed behind as Pei Zhen returned to the resting room. “Can I take leave for tonight?”
Pei Zhen looked at him quizzically, waiting to hear a reason.
“I have a date tonight. I want to take my wife out to look at the moon, count the stars, and spend time together on Chinese Valentine’s Day!”
