Chapter 128: Let’s Heal Fer

“Anyway, do you know the most beautiful inn in this town?~”
“Yes.”
“Then please take us there~”
“Understood.”
After Fer-san saw us off, we rode the carriage to take us to the town. Chris-san opened the small window separating us from the coach and he asked the coach to take us to the inn before he closed the window shut.
“I think it’s going to take us about 30 minutes to reach there?~”
Chris-san went back to his seat on this fluffy sofa as he spoke while slightly inclining his head to the side.
“Ah, that sounds about right.”
Right now, I was sitting on the sofa with Sig-san. We were sitting facing the coach side while Chris-san was sitting on the opposite side.
“Ren-chan… What do you think about our visit today? Do you hate it?~”
“Eh? Well… I’m somewhat confused but I don’t hate it.”
They did make me wear a lolita outfit but they already apologized for it and properly reflected on their action so I didn’t mind it that much. What Princess Lily said to me really surprised me but she hadn’t done any real harm to me. I didn’t know what kind of punishment she had to bear but there wasn’t anything I could do about it.
All in all, I guess it was actually a positive experience since all of Fer-san’s family members, with the exception of Manami-sama and Princess Lily, accepted me.
“I see… You know… We’re going to meet with my family in two days but… I think my family is going to give Ren-chan an unpleasant experience though….”
Chris-san said that with an indescribable sad expression on his face. In the first place, Chris-san already showed his reluctance in letting me meet his family.
“I’m the one who said I want to meet with them so it’s alright. Besides, even if they gave me an unpleasant experience, Chris-san and the others will be there with me so I will be able to endure it.”
I was the one who wished to meet with them so I’d be alright!
“Ren-chan… Yeah. I will definitely protect you, okay~”
After that, we continued our trip to the inn while talking leisurely.

“No, it was my pleasure. Then, please take care.”
The carriage finally pulled into a stop in front of an inn. We got off from the carriage and I thanked the coachman. He slightly smiled back at me before he steered the carriage away from the inn.
“Chris-san did say the most beautiful inn but really, this place is truly beautiful.”
“Yeah. This place is not too gaudy or over the top… It has a pure beautiful vibe to it… In any case, this is a beautiful place for sure~”
“It’s already 21:00. Let’s get inside quickly. We need to check if they have any room for us or not, right?”
The inn we were guided to didn’t look too grand but it was definitely a beautiful inn. Just like what Sig-san had said. It was getting very late and if this inn didn’t have any room available, we had to find another inn.

“Thankfully they still have a room~”
“Yeah. Ren, you must be tired. You can go to sleep now.”
“Fuah…. Yeah. It’s still a little early but I think I’m going to sleep first.”
When I entered the room and asked the staff who was managing the counter, to my surprise, they still had a room available . The moment I entered the room the staff had guided me to, I felt like the strings pulling my body together were cut off and my body just felt so heavy.
I wasn’t tired physically but I was tired mentally due to feeling nervous this whole day. You couldn’t heal mental fatigue with [Heal]. I needed to take a break to freshen myself.
When Sig-san suggested I should go to bed early, I subconsciously yawned and felt very sleepy. I should just go to bed now just like what Sig-san suggested.
“You can take a bath tomorrow in the morning. Just change your clothes for now.”
“Yes…. 【Clean】…. Fuahhh…. I can’t stop yawning…. Good night.”
“Nighty night~”
“See you tomorrow. Good night.”
I took out my pajamas from my magic bag and squirmed as I changed my clothes. The moment I started yawning once, I couldn’t stop myself from yawning again and again. After I finished changing my clothes, I immediately went into bed without even doing our usual ‘greeting’.
While listening to the sound of the two of them kissing me on the cheeks, I kept my eyes closed and before I knew it, I was already in the dreamland.

“Mmngh…. Huh? This is… Ah, right. I met with Fer-san’s family yesterday.”
I woke up the moment my consciousness returned to me. I already felt so refreshed the moment I opened my eyes. The ceiling that greeted me the moment I woke up was unfamiliar to me and for a moment, I was at a loss but then I remembered I was staying in an inn in the royal capital.
“Ugh…. I can’t move my body too today…. Excuse me…. Can you wake up please?”
“Hmm… If Ren-chan kisses me then I will~.”
Everytime I slept with the three of them, it was always the same. I’d be embraced from both sides, preventing me from moving. For the time being, I pinched Chris-san’s nose from the right side and asked him to get up. Then, Chris-san said that with his eyes still closed.
He’s pretending to be asleep?!
“Geez! You’re already awake, aren’t you! ….. Muah… Fu-?! Nnghh! Ahn… Mmngh…. Haah…. What are you trying to do this early in the morning?!”
I lightly kissed Chris-san on the cheeks despite knowing he was only pretending to be asleep. But then, I suddenly felt a hand on the back of my head and before I knew it, I was being pulled into a deep kiss early in the morning.
“Because~ Ren-chan is just too cute~”
Chris-san laughed as he rubbed our nose together, keeping our face close. To be fair I was too close to see his face but just from the sound of it, it was clear to see he was smiling.
“Cute you said… Only Chris-san and the others would call me cute.”
I already got used to it since they always called me cute but I truly couldn’t think of myself as ‘cute’ though?
“Isn’t it about time for you to accept it? Come on Ren, do it to me too.”
“Ah, Sig-san is already awake too. Good morning. Muah.”
While I was talking in low voice with Chris-san, I heard Sig-san teasing me from behind. I then changed my position so I could face Sig-san and kissed him on the cheek too.
“Fer is going to be here soon, right?~ Why don’t we lay down for a bit more?~”
“What time is it?”
“Ah, it’s a little over 8:00.”
We talked while they were holding me tight from both sides. The room had air conditioning on so it felt nice to snuggle up in a warm futon. It was still 8:00 so we should be able to laze around for about 30 minutes more, right?
Not a moment later, I dozed off again while being held by the two of them.

“Ren-kun!”
“Whoa! Fer-san?!”
While we were talking about what we should do for lunch today, Fer-san actually arrived just before noon. I opened the door and Fer-san immediately tackled me for a tight hug.
“Ah… As I thought, Ren-kun is great.”
“Huh? What??”
Fer-san rested his chin on top of my head and breathed a deep sigh as he murmured. I was bewildered because Fer-san really looked more exhausted than usual.
“Ren-chan~ Fer looks like he’s really tired so be nice to him~”
Chris-san said that with a wry smile on his face.
“E-Ermm… Yes. For the time being, why don’t you sit on the sofa? …. 【Heal】.”
I then moved to the sofa while still holding onto Fer-san and then I cast [Heal] on him. This should at least healed his physical fatigue but meeting with his family along with being a bridge for me , everything must’ve accumulated and taken a toll on Fer-san’s mental strain….
“Fer-san, I don’t know if this will make you feel better or not but why don’t we take it easy for a bit before we eat?”
We sat down side by side and as the hands that had been holding onto me relaxed, I pulled Fer-san’s head to rest on my thigh.
Well… This is the so-called ‘lap pillow’.
“Eh? Is this really alright?”
“If you don’t like it I can stop now…”
“NO! …. I’m actually very pleased.”
At first Fer-san tried to get up but after I asked him that while tiling my head to the side, Fer-san blushed slightly and then he tried to move his head a little to find a comfortable position . After he found the perfect position, Fer-san smiled. The satisfaction was clear to see in his expression.
“How nice, Fer~”
“You know, I’ve also done that with Ren too.”
“Ah, you did mention it to us before. It’s not fair that only you two get to do that~ Next time it’ll be my turn~”
Chris-san and Sig-san were sitting on a sofa across from us as they talked. Which reminded me, I had done this with Sig-san too.
I listened to their conversation while stroking Fer-san’s silky smooth hair. Fer-san’s gold hair was glimmering, it was so beautiful.
“So what’s going to happen to Princess Lily?”
After having a brief conversation with Chris-san, Sig-san asked Fer-san, who was still laying on my lap as I stroked his hair.
“Ren-kun….”
“Don’t get up.”
Fer-san tried to get up but I held him back and so, he just continued to talk while laying like this.
“Fufu~ Then I will stay like this… It seems Lily has caused more trouble than we all expected so she’s going to stay at the imperial villa while we try to educate her back to the right path.”
“Huh? Imperial villa?!”
Huh? An imperial villa?!
“Yes. An imperial villa belonging to the royal family in the Dumfries region.”
Huh? So she’s being sent off to a different region?
“There’s practically nothing around there, right?”
“None. She has to stay there for a year, study diligently and make an effort to lose weight while she at it.”
“I see~ Well, looking at her, I guess it’s a good thing for her, right?~”
Weight loss… So it’s like a diet camp too? Well, certainly just by looking at her it’s quite clear to see she’s going to have a health problem if she keeps her current lifestyle. Just like what Chris-san has said, this is actually a good thing for Princess Lily. She also has a one year deadline… I hope she’ll be able to do her best during that time…
I was gently stroking his head as we all talked but then, I suddenly felt Fer-san’s head on my head became heavier.

“Huh? Fer-san fell asleep?”
I looked at Fer-san’s face and yes, he had fallen asleep. His usual smart and neat face now looked somewhat a little bit younger when he closed his eyes like this.
“He’s sleeping.”
“Ren-chan if it’s alright with you, why don’t you let him stay like that as he sleeps~?”
“Ren’s lap pillow has a good height and the perfect softness. It feels so great, especially when he keeps stroking your head.”
“Then do it for me next time, okay?~”
“Fufu~ If you are fine with me then I’ll do it…”
Fer-san then slept for about an hour while the three of us spent our time talking while drinking tea.
