I summoned more shadows. Several dozens, but this time in a different way. I used 'Shadow shape' to give them the bodies of spiders, no bigger than a fingernail. And all of that crawled out of my clothes, and eyes.
Yes, eyes.
They climbed down my face to slowly make it into my palm. I extended the hand, to allow them to get from me to him. He obviously tried everything he could to stop it, but I used 'Telekinesis' again, to hold him into place. All of those bugs climbed up, to his fouth, which I forced upon using the skill again, and then they crawled inside.
- As I said. You won't gonna like that - I said and patted him on his cheek.
I did it for two reasons. Because I wanted the extra humiliation, and to place a very small mark on his skin, to know what he will be up to.
- You have one hour to bring me brand new, unscratched Chris right here - I continued. - If you won't make it in time then... Well... I guess we will find out what will happen then. Oh, and if you ask me what I am, I'm gonna take that as an insult.
I smiled at him, and my shadow dropped the guy on the ground. He puked, but there was no way my shadow would just like that gout out of his stomach.
- As for the rest of you... I want all the weapons by the bar. And trust me on this, you don't want me finding out you hid something or trying to do something funny because I will get angry. You can ask Igor what happens when I get slightly irritated, and then let your imagination works out the rest.
I noticed few people looking his way. The boss left through a different exit, stumbling on his feet, and the other guys followed my instructions, as I made myself feel at home by the bar. Then I finally dropped the barrier, and gestured to the girls, to tome to me, while grabbing a bottle of something, and turning down 'Eyes of the Void'.
They were a bit less scared than everybody else, but still terrified of what I displayed before them.
- You guys want a drink? - I asked, while I was already chugging out of that bottle.
- We are not twenty-one - said Patricia. - Should you be even drinking in this situation?
- Trust me. There is not enough alcohol in this whole building to make me drunk - I replayed to her.
- Was it a good idea to let that guy go? - asked Rachel. - He might come with more people.
- Relax. If he comes with more, I'm more than capable of dealing with that. Not to mention he has a bunch of my little friends inside him. They will be more than happy to eat him from the inside.
Her eyes just got bigger as I said that.
- Are you some kind of demon? - asked Patricia. - Please I need to know. I'm about to pass out.
- No, I'm not - I whispered to her, so not everybody would be able to hear us. - I used to be a regular guy, but then something happened and I ended up in a different world. I know how it sounds. Just like another stupid isekai story, but this wan wasn't. It was real. And it hit me like a truck. I almost died few times from the hands of other people like me, not to mention monsters, but I pulled through and got stronger. I also earned some powers on the way.
- What? - asked Rachel looking at me like I was telling a bunch of lies to her.
- I know how it sounds, but it's true. And not too long from now the whole world will know of us because we found our way back to earth.
- There are more people like you? - Patricia asked with fear written all over her face.
- Not all are this handsome, but a bunch can do some similar stuff. A bunch can also do completely different stuff.
- You mean superpowers? - asked Rachel.
- Yep.
- So we will be invaded by a bunch of supervillains? - asked Patricia.
I shook my head and almost facepalmed.
- Nobody will be invaded. And definitely not by supervillains. More like superheroes if you ask me. It's a good thing trust me. We have a way to threaten cancer and other stuff out there. Obviously, there will be some wiggling and pushing here and there, but It will end well.
- Ok. Let's say we trust you - said Rachel. - How does today ends according to you?
- With you and your guy back together. With those guys in jail, scared out of their minds, and me... I don't know where I will be going but definitely won't stay here. That's a happy ending as far as I'm concerned.
- You won't kill anybody?
- I said I won't, but I'm not gonna lite. You aren't making it easier for me. If I ripped to shreds some of those guys - I looked at few guards, quietly observing my every move while sitting by the tables. - then the rest would fall in line.
- Can you not do that, please? - asked Rachel. - I... I don't want anybody to die.
- I'll try, but my fists are itchy, and I wouldn't mind scratching them a bit on somebody's face. Especially that guy - I pointed a tone of the thugs. - What the fuck are you looking at?!
He immediately looked away, and I noticed a slight smile on Patricia's face. She found that funny.
- I see you are feeling a bit better about me now - I continued.
She slowly nodded, but there was still a lot of fear in her moves.
- So... It might take a while for your boy to be delivered, so why don't we kill the time by talking about something? How long do you two know each other?
This started a long conversation between us. In the meantime, I had to react a few times and put the thugs in line using 'Telekinesis'. Girls shared some stories about themselves and how they met in high school, and I shared mine, about the city and my friends out there. They were very interested in Ki'rai, and the fact how cute my little lizard was. That's how two hours passed....
