- I've contacted my supervisor - the agent informed me - and he believes, that what you want can be arranged, but he has two requests. The first one is that you will deliver crystals worth a total of ten million points to US soldiers. The second one is related to the vote about the portal. If even one of you will agree to open it, you will do it.
I needed a moment to process the last part. I doubted they would propose this if they didn't believe they had the vote. Aisha wouldn't do it, she even brought me here, to make sure I would do my best to make sure Will wouldn't also. They lost their bargaining chip with him, though.
This led me only to believe that they were counting on him wanting the portal to shorten the distance between him and Dustin, but I could do that too. I could just shadow walked the father to his son whenever he wanted.
I smiled.
- Ok. We can go with that.
- Great. I'll call agents Butler and Parker to meet with you in the hotel. Point them to the kid.
- I'll have her there, so they can pick her up immediately.
- Great - he said, and hung up.
Tihana was looking at me and expecting to get some answers.
- I'll take you to my hotel, and then the agents will pick you up, and work out all the necessary stuff. Please remember one thing. If they ask you to spy on me or work with them to fuck me over in any kind of way, just say yes, and then tell me. Remember, the score is four for me, and zero for them. You don't want to ruin that.

Then I flew back to the hotel, witnessing as a bunch of people on the street pointed their fingers at Tihana. Obviously because of my transformation.
I got to my room through the balcony. The door was closed, but I just shadow walked past it and dropped another anchor. Then I shadow walked back to the kid, grabbed her shoulder, and shadow walked back to the room. She screamed.
- Shut up - I said to her.
- Fuck you! Maybe a little warning?!
- I told you, I'll be right back - I said and went to sit on the sofa, as she looked around the room. - Take a shower, you smell.
She mocked my words by mumbling them in a retarded manner and went to look for the bathroom. In the meantime, I pulled out my notebook and started writing. The sound of running water brought me focus, and I actually wrote quite a bit in the short span of her absence.
The words and sentences were naturally fitting to each other, and saying from my experience that was actually a rare thing. Usually, I had to have a bit of a fight to make it all work. It was like putting together a jigsaw puzzle, but you had to make every single element by yourself, without even knowing how the whole thing will look like.
Crazy.
She came out in her dirty clothes, wiping her hair with a towel. I ignored her, trying my best to focus on the story. She came closer and started reading.
- Watch TV or something kid. Dady is busy here - I said to her.
- What are you writing - she asked, ignoring what I said.
- It's like a journal. The story of my adventures in another world.

She laughed shortly, and then jumped on the bed, and really started the TV. This made my writing process way harder, but I did my best to ignore the mix of random words caused by her jumping from channel to channel.
Around fifteen minutes later somebody knocked on our door, so I went to open it. It was Parker and Butler with eyes wide open as they saw me. Probably they had flashbacks from our last meeting.
- Come in - I said, and moved to the side to allow them to enter.
They did, but not without hesitation. they froze for a moment upon seeing the girl in the bed but made it further into the room, allowing me to re-enter. I noticed the look they gave me.
- For fucks sake, she is fifteen. Do I look like a certain financer and multimillionaire?
Tihana snorted. They pretended I didn't say a thing and started talking to her.
- I'm agent Russ Parker, this is agent Francis Butler, and are from the CIA. I don't know if you have been informed of what our role here is, but we will take you to the proper institution.
- Cool, I'm being arrested by the CIA.
Her statement confuses them a bit. They clearly didn't have many experiences with kids her age.
- Just take her - I said to them.
She crawled out of the bed, and they escorted her outside. I followed, to watch as they progressed through the corridor, heading towards the stairs. At some point, she stopped and turned around.
- Hey! Your book! You should title it Another Stupid Isekai, cause you are stupid! - she shouted, pulled down one of her bottom eyelids, and stuck her tongue out.
This made me smile. I turned and got back to the room. My notebook was still lying on the table. I went there to grab it, opened the first page, and then wrote on the top 'Another Stupid Isekai'.
I had to squeeze the title in because there was very little space, but I did it.
I started turning the pages and looking at what I wrote. On my progress as a writer. I used to be so obsessed with numbers and pointless details, but this changed. My story, although still written like a journal, started to feel more like a novel. It was kinda awesome, and I felt proud.
I peaked on the noisy TV and used 'Telekinesis' to get the remote.. Then turned it off.
