There was very little chatting involved during the food break since both groups didn't want to offend the other, because not everybody was speaking Korean, and not everybody was speaking English.
WE still kept smiling, while eating, and there was a little exchange of simple remarks.
We resumed more or less half an hour later, as everybody gathered again in the city center. We actually were on the clock, since it was closer and closer to the time when the hunters would return to the city.
- Ok everybody! - shouted Yoo Dong-hyun, obviously in Korean. - It's time for the next mission! Tihana?
- Ok yes- she replied, after hearing her names, and rushed towards the director, who already had the cards prepared.
She went for the red one and brought it to the host, who read it out loud.
- Protect your king dodgeball!
- In this mission, the kinds will be the hunters, and the rest of the team will have to protect them. The kings can't grab the ball. If the ball touches them, the team loses. Other players can touch the ball, but if it hits them, and falls to the ground, they get eliminated - explained the director in English.
He repeated himself in Korean after, and the crew quickly sprayed the field we would play on with white paint. Then the protectors were given out. The hunters one by one passed on the ones offered to them. The cast and members of sparkle took them though, and quickly put them on.
The first round was the 'Samurai' team versus the 'Him' team. Martin got hit easily, so their team got eliminated. The two teams with soldiers from the US and India clashed, and India actually won after a long battle.
The 'Wild cats' and the 'Model' team were the next ones. After a surprisingly long back and forth Eshe finally was hit, and they lost.
The last two teams to participate were mine and Nil's. I was torn between going all out and making sure they would never hit me because I easily could, and just letting them win. In the end, I went with the second option, losing after doing my best without loosening the seal, or using any of my skills.
Tihana was actually cheering me on, but I was ignoring her. I was still pissed at her.
In conclusion, Nobuo won the whole thing, Nil was the second, and Alice was third. People didn't really keep track of it, but the staff did.
- Let me announce the overall results - said the director, as we gathered after the final match. - The first place 'Samurai' team, the second team Him-team, and the third goes to Champions team!
People started clapping.
- As a reward we brought Korean beef sets with us - he continued, and some members of the staff went out, holding three boxes each, and gave it out to the winners. - For the losing teams, punishment is awaiting on the other side of the portal.
Tose boxes were quite fancy. They looked like wooden cases and were wrapped in plastic foil, with golden ribbons around them. All nine people got one.
They took their prizes, and we all went to the gate hall, to pass through the portal and find ourselves in India. There was a short pause in the filming since we all had to live the equipment in the gate hall and then switch to the new one on the other side of the portal. Everything was prepared there, and it went rather swiftly.
The director gave us instructions, and we went to the parking next to the already finished government facility, where was waiting for us a strange construction. I quickly realized it was made to drop a load of water on our heads.
- Losing teams, please stand on the marked positions - said the director, as we approached the construction.
We did just that, and on his signal a whole load was dropped on each person, drenching them with water. The staff quickly provided the towels. Martin just took his shirt off, revealing bulging muscles that would put Hollywood actors to shame.
This caused the female staff to shout in excitement. For him that was a single to flex, so he started posing, making the women's faces red. The members of Sparkle tried to hide their embarrassment behind their own hands, and the rest of the crew was just smiling. Nil clearly couldn't handle Martin being the only model, so he took his top off too, and started posing, causing another round of excited squeaks.
Even Tihana got all shy in the presence of such masculinity. I on the other hand was cringing very, very hard.
That's how the shoot finally came to an end. We all stripped out of the equipment. Part of the filming crew gathered it, and took it with them to Dwarka, while the rest went back to Ark with us. In the gate hall, we shook hands with the Mission Man and Sparkle members and went our separate ways.
They were to spend the rest of the day in the city, to go and catch the plane on next day.
Tihana used this, to hide behind them from my anger, but I could see on her face, that she actually regretted a little bit the situation she involved me in. My revenge was coming, and I knew it will be the sweetest thing, but to achieve that I actually had to make her believe it's not. So I pretended to just let it go, and allowed her to get with them back to the Wuxia's barracks.
It was not the end of the day, as I quickly found out, that the streamers crew was also arriving on that day, alter. There was a gathering of reporters that were preparing for that already on both sides of the portal.. They used this opportunity to get a few pictures from the filming of our punishment, and then followed us to camp for the next group of somewhat famous people.
