Chapter 711: T.D.O.N.B At Home

The girls were surprised by the early morning noise in the kitchen. I guess Celestine was a little bit scared, while Tihana immediately knew that it had to be me.
- Morning - I threw to them, as they found me making pancakes.
I didn't even turn around.
- You're back - said the brunette.
- Morning, dad - said Tihana.
I couldn't see what was going back there, too focused on the food, but they probably were scheming, since I heard their footsteps as they got closer, and then they flanked me from both sides. At that moment I got alarmed, but since I felt confident about my speed, I played a little into their game.
Suddenly I got a kiss on both of my cheeks, which made me smile.
- That was a surprise - I said.
- The world is full of surprises, dad - said Tihana, as she crossed her arm on her chest, standing by my side.
She had this smirk of confidence on her face.
- It was a tribute, so we don't have to make our breakfast - explained Celestine.
- Aw! - left my mouth. - If I knew, then I would make some of you pay much more.
As I said those words, I looked her way. She had this nice blue dress on and bit her lower lip, as she tried to fight with a smile, curving slightly her lips.
- Ugh! - left Tihana's mouth, and she immediately left.
This made me only bolder, as I leaned forward for a kiss, and I got a nice one, straight on my lips.
- I'm really happy you are back - Celestine whispered to me.

- You are? How about you show me how happy you are - I said, and my hand wandered to her shoulder, to slowly start pushing the dress strap off.

This action took me by surprise, but It was a surprisingly good appetizer, as the only thing on my mind from that point, was her. I almost burned a few pancakes, but eventually, the breakfast was ready, and I brought two full plates to the dining room.
The utensils and everything else were already prepared, just like the two hungry women, who were waiting patiently for the food.
- Dig in - I said, putting the pancakes down, and immediately placed a few of them on my own plate.
We ate at first in silence, but soon Tihana began telling a story of something that happened in school. After that Celestine informed me she would be going hunting goblins with some group, tomorrow. I added a few terrible jokes to the mix, and we had a lot of fun.
Then my daughter left, and I had even more fun, upstairs.
I guess we both really wanted this reunion because things escalated quickly, and lasted for a few hours.
Panting heavily, laying next to me in the bedsheets, Celestine asked:
- Are you done with what you had to do, or are you just having a break?
- A break. I need to size the moment, while I still can - I explained.

- I'll stay for a few days - I said and looked at her, by turning my head to the side.

We would probably go all day, but somebody had to make lunch for Tihana since she was about to come back from school. Not really that surprising, it was Celestine who pointed that out, and I was practically kicked from the bed, but I didn't really mind. At that point, I already got more than what I wanted.
Very happy, I went down to the kitchen, and then did a quick jump to Loistavadvaar to get some ingredients, so that upon my return, I could really unleash my cooking skills to the very end. I made a full-on fest with stuff that looked so good, you couldn't stop stuffing yourself.
When the girls saw it, their jaws dropped almost to the floor. Proud of myself, I sat with them by the table, and without any unnecessary talk, began eating.
