[Who are we waiting for, bhaiya?]

Aria finally asked after losing her patience.

"Our new party member," Satvik replied without being too specific.

Aria looked at him with a frown.

When they arrived at the dungeon today, he stopped Aria from going inside and told her to wait.

However, it has been more than an hour since they have been waiting.

And, whenever she asks him any questions, he would give her a vague answer.

If it wasn't for the familiar pact, she would've already bitten him, she was that annoyed.

She was about to ask more questions but then she saw someone wearing a black colored cloak, coming in their direction.

At first, she looked at the cloaked silhouette with a nonchalant expression but when her senses picked up the familiar scent, she immediately identified the person.

Her eyes became as round as a saucer.

[Bhaiya Run!]

[That fox is coming in our direction]

After yelling she turned around in order to leave this place but didn't move.

Aria turned around and found Satvik looking at the other person with a defeated expression.

[Bhaiya, why are you still standing there?]

Aria questioned him in disbelief.

Satvik gave her a defeated smile and said, "She's our new party member!"

[WHAT?]

Last night...

"You?" Satvik yelled.

"Hey, stop yelling," complained Kavya with puffed-up cheeks.

Satvik didn't let his guard down and asked, "What do you want?"

Kavya frowned. She had enough experience dealing with different types of people and she could easily detect, that he was quite skeptical about her.

"Oh for the love of the goddess, would you calm down!" She exclaimed while joining both of her palms and begging.

Satvik looked at her for a few more seconds and after nodding, hid his knife ready to be drawn instantly.

"Good!" she said with a bright smile.

Then after looking at his still grumpy expression she said, "I need your help!"

 "Huh?!" Satvik mumbled.

She was nine times stronger than him and at present, she surpassed him in wealth as well.

Looking at his confused expression she said, "I've been stuck at level 99 for months now."

"And, to break through faster I need to kill some monsters. So, I was planning to pay a visit to the dungeon."

"And since I have never adventured in the dungeon, I need your help. You're an adventurer right?" she questioned him with excitement.

"Why me?" he replied with a question.

"Huh??"

This time it was Kavya, who was confused.

Satvik sighed and said, "Why me?"

"I'm pretty sure that you have enough money that you can hire any high-ranking party to take you to the dungeon and babysit you."

"And, the difference in our strength is humongous. There's no way, you can't fight the monsters in the first ten floors alone, that too while you're sleeping."

"Hey! I'm not a brute woman!" She yelled in protest in response to which Satvik rolled over his eyes.

"I have my reasons," she then said in a meek voice.

"And that is?" He questioned her with a poker face.

"Do I have to tell? Can't a lady have her secrets?" she said.

Satvik frowned and turned around. Then he waved his hand and said, "Bye!"

She grabbed the hem of his cloak and said, "Wait!!"

Satvik turned around and gave her a look filled with annoyance.

Her gaze fell and she said, "I don't know how to fight."

"And, I don't know the reason but somehow, deep inside I feel that I can trust you!"

After saying that, her indigo eyes looked right into his obsidian ones.

Satvik was still not confident but the next thing she said was like the final nail in the coffin.

"I'll pay you. One gold per day and you can keep all the loot as well."

'One gold! That isn't a bad deal. Guiding such a fine beauty in the dungeon would give me some good points in her book as well,' he internally thought.

Then his gaze landed on her fluffy tails that were swaying from left to right and vice versa.

That thing had a hypnotic effect and he finally nodded in agreement and said, "Fine!"

A gleeful smile appeared on her face and she almost yelled, "Really?!"

"Yeah! We'll meet tomorrow at the dungeon entrance. Don't be late...," he said and stopped in the middle while looking at her.

She was confused at first but then suddenly remembered something most important, she never disclosed her name.

"My name is Kavya," she said while raising her right hand forward.

Satvik looked at her hand and with a smile grabbed it and kissed the back of it and with a smoldering facial expression, said, "Nice meeting you, Kavya!"

Then he left. Meanwhile, Kavya was still looking at his back with a flushed dreamy face...

Kavya came before Satvik and Aria in a red cloak that covered her from top to bottom.

Only her supple lips were visible, which were stretched in a smile and after a moment parted away as she said, "I hope I didn't make you wait long!"

[We have been waiting for more than an hour]

Aria complained telepathically, which Satvik ignored and shook his head and said, "We arrived only a few moments ago."

Aria turned her head in Satvik's direction. She was now looking at him with her jaw hanging low and eyes wide open in surprise.

Her gaze then turned to the one with contempt as she muttered.

[First the wolf and now the fox]

Satvik didn't spare her any attention and continued his greetings with Kavya, "So, are you ready?"

Kavya nodded her head.

"Let's go!" said Satvik and started to walk towards the dungeon entrance, while Aria followed him with a grumpy expression.

The moment Kavya took her first step, a feminine voice came from behind.

"Best of luck Di!!"

Then like floods gate was opened a group of women started yelling good luck wishes.

Satvik and other adventurers also turned their heads and looked at women in disbelief.

Then one of the women shouted, "Di, conquer him. Make him fall for you!"

Satvik frowned and then his gaze landed on Kavya, who for some reason never looked back and rushed towards the dungeon entrance with brisk steps.

As usual, the guard at the entrance stopped every adventurer.

When our trio arrived, Satvik flashed his pass. Then he looked at Kavya, who had fished out a letter of some kind and showed it to the guards.

The guard looked at the letter and after nodding, let them pass.

"It seems like someone knows important people at important places," said Satvik while marching forward.

"Hehehe~ Of course they do," Kavya replied with a giggle, as she followed him.

Meanwhile, Aria rolled her eyes. All of this made her feel like she was the third wheel now.

After a few minutes, they finally reached the first floor.

Then Satvik removed his cloak.

Kavya followed and removed her cloak as well. Her long burgundy hair was braided in two thick braids.

She was wearing leather armor that hugged her body tightly but left enough room for flexibility and leaving space for her two tails.

Satvik nodded with satisfaction after looking at her.

He thought of using his third eye on her one more time to see her skill set to formulate their plan of action.

But when he used his skill, he was confused and he internally muttered, 'Crimson.....aura?'
