Satvik muttered in an annoyed tone while looking at Kavya. She was trying to avoid his piercing gaze and she was sitting in a crouch while covering her face with her palms.
Satvik closed his eyes and lifted his face upward while an annoying voice rang in his head.

Aria was having the laugh of her life while looking at Satvik's suffering face.
It all started a few hours ago...

Satvik, Aria, and Kavya entered the dungeon. Since it was Kavya's first time with them, they decided to keep her in the morning.
When they entered the first floor, Satvik asked Aria telepathically to look for monsters while using her senses.
It was time to test what the fox accompanying them can do.
When a toad appeared before them, the fox rejected the idea of fighting it.
The sole reason being the toad was too ugly and grotesque.
The monster was hurt.
The emotional damage it received was too much and killed it a hundred times over from the inside.
Hence, the monster left them alone and ran back to its friends.
Satvik let it go this time, since she was afraid of toads, for now.
However, when the trio arrived on the 2nd floor, the scenery changed.
The second floor was home to plant monster species.
Poison ivy, wild vines, and sweet traps were a few to be named.
They were easy to deal with, you just have to avoid getting tangled by them.
However, the fox ended up getting tangled in wild vines every single time.
After saving her the 9th time, Satvik decided to call a meeting between the three.
"Kavya"
The moment the fox heard her name from the mouth of the man in front of her, she flinched.
"Y-y-yy-yess?"
She stuttered while she avoided his gaze.
"You have zero combat instincts, your reflexes are poor as they can get and most importantly you're afraid of monsters."
"So, how in the hell are you stronger than me?" he questioned with a frown.
"And don't you lie! Even though I exactly don't know your level but I can already feel that you're way too stronger than me," he said in one breath.
'A level 99 person getting entangled and being defeated by level 12 monsters. Is this a joke?' he thought inwardly.
Kavya crouched and while drawing circles in the ground with her fingers said, "It's a very well-known fact that you get experience points not just from monsters but from defeating all living things, including humans."
"So...I got stronger by whi-whipping.....adventurers
who came to our establishment, without ever fighting a monster, " she finished her short explanation.

Then a self-mocking smile appeared on Kavya's face as she said, "And since I'm a mere prostitute, men come to me while wagging their tails."
"Hence, I never had to fight a monster...or maybe I did try to fight some long ago..."
"But failed horribly..."
Her eyes were solemn and she was lost in a daze as she remembered her dark past.
Satvik sighed and while offering a hand to the fox, said, "Fine! I'll teach you and help you overcome your fear."
Kavya took his hand and looked at him in astonishment and was lost while looking at his charming face.
'Don't ever let go of that hand,' a thought kept repeating in her head.
Once she got up, Satvik tried to let go of her hand. However, the fox had him in his clutches and wouldn't let go of his hand.
Her indigo eyes were looking straight into his soul as if his existence would be devoured by her.
"Mrs. Gingerina, can I have my hand back," he said while sweating.
Kavya woke up from her stupor and while panicking said, "O-oh ooofcourse....wait what?"
"You knew?" she almost yelled.
Satvik rolled his eyes and after a few fractions of seconds, while pointing at Aria who was busy licking her fur casually, said, "She has an amazing sense of smell."
Kavya looked at Aria, who was also looking in her direction.
And, she didn't know how, but that damn tigress definitely scoffed at Kavya and she was sure of it.
Kavya frowned while looking at the pussy cat in front of her acting all high and mighty.
However, Satvik's voice made her look the other way as he said, "Let's move to the first floor. Training with Toads is way easier than doing with monster plants."
Kavya nodded and they all started ascending toward the first floor.
While Kavya, still kept looking at her palms which were holding Satvik's hand a few moments ago, with a slight blush...
When the trio reached the first floor again, Satvik told Aria that she can go on a solo hunt if she wanted. And without even wasting a second, the cat ran away with a salivating mouth which slightly irked him.
Then Satvik after shaking his head looked at Kavya who was staring at her palm deeply. Then he said, "Kavya, each of us must confront our own fears, must come face to face with them and conquer them."
Kavya looked in his direction after hearing his voice but he wasn't done yet.
"When you're not afraid of the enemy, you have already won half of the fight. The other half depends upon your skill, luck, and most important of all, how stupid can your opponent be."
Kavya nodded.
"Then let's begin shall we?" he said in reply to which she nodded while clenching her whip tightly.
"Good! Now whip is a good choice for close to mid-ranged battles. It is fast and hard to dodge but still has some weaknesses......"
Kavya was listening to everything he said with full focus and her burning gaze focused on his face.
After giving her some pointers he said, "Let us put the theory to test. See that toad," he said while pointing at a toad couple of meters away from them.
Kavya nodded and moved closer to the toad to attack it. However, the moment she swung her whip at the monster, it jumped away.
"Wh-what!?"
Kavya was caught by surprise and looked at Satvik.
"Hahaha~ what did you expect? They are not like your average pervert adventurer who loves getting whipped by a beautiful woman such as yourself," Satvik said while laughing.
Kavya smiled with a blush and said, "You think I am beautiful?"
Satvik nodded and said, "I'm pretty sure you know the answer to that question yourself."
'Ah! He thinks I'm beautiful,' Kavya thought to herself and took a breath of relief.
While she was lost in her thoughts, Satvik moved behind her, and their bodies were only a few millimeters away from each other.
Kavya was caught off-guard and her whole was now as red as a tomato and she started mumbling, "Wa-wait! It is s-still too ear...."
Her heartbeat went through the roof.
Satvik laughed and said, "Calm down, will ya."
After saying that, he held onto her right arm, in which she was holding the whip, and raised it a little.
Due to the height difference, she could hear his breathing as his face was a few inches away from her ears.
Then in her ear, he muttered, "You have to predict the movement of your enemies and have to lead your attack accordingly."
Then while holding her arm, he made slight adjustments and then said, "Now attack!"
Kavya was burning with embarrassment and whipped her arm without even holding her strength back.
The whip landed on the monster's body instantly pulverizing it.
However, Kavya jerked her arm with such strength, that Satvik was also thrown in front and embedded in the cave wall creating a spiderweb-shaped crater under his body and passing out due to concussion.
"NOOOOO!" yelled her lungs out and rushed to Satvik's rescue, who was bleeding.
