Satvik was sitting in the grass field near his house while his cattle were grazing nearby.

"We were gone for some work for a week and all this happened?" said a tall woman sitting next to her while holding her forehead in despair.

Mayuri had returned after her annual survey of the land a few days back and when she came to know about Satvik's encounter with another priestess she came running to check on him.

"Well, who would've thought that she would send a girl just to spy on me" he said with a sigh.

"I have a question for you, your majesty. Why didn't my sight skill work on this girl? Every time I checked Shivani's aura, it was never violet as it was the case with other followers of Ashanti," said Satvik with confusion.

"Maybe she never was his follower. We might be wrong but according to our assumption, she was just a subordinate to bi** of humility. Don't you think it's plausible?" said Mayuri and continued,

"We don't know exactly how your skill works in the first place. You still have to find its uses and level up this skill as soon as possible."

"Tch! I can't even see my own status like others. I wish I had that stone the priestess had, it would be quite useful" said Satvik while thinking about the Gem Aneeta had, which projected his pathetic status.

"Well, they are not that accurate you know. One can fiddle around them especially one with illusive and manipulative skills. We are pretty sure you can handle yourself for another 6 years"

"Just look at yourself, already survived encounters with two Bi**hes" said Mayuri with a sly smile.

"Yeah! And lost one arm" said Satvik while raising his left stump in annoyance.

"Well we would say that was a good deal," said Mayuri with a muffled giggle.

Satvik just stared at her with an annoyed expression. She never let go of an opportunity to irritate him.

After a while, Mayuri stood up and said, "Well it's time we head back. But before that." She leaned closer to Satvik and blew air over him with little force. Satvik looked at her in confusion.

"Now it's better. That bi**h of humility was a clever one, she put a tracker spell on you to counter your concealment blessing. But fear not, your magnanimous mother-in-law has removed that spell" she said with a smug.

'What?' Satvik was astonished, he didn't even realize that he was being tracked. 'He was so clueless!' he thought. Then he looked at Mayuri and while bowing his head he said "Thank you, your majesty!"

"So why is she glaring at you like that?" asked Satvik to the old man sitting in front of him.

Satvik had decided to visit Haldi to discuss the changes he had decided for his future plans.

As usual, Meera came to receive him at the mansion's gate but today something was different with her. It was not just her but most of the maids were either glaring at Haldi with hate or giving him a cold treatment.

"Well, when you were dragged out by that priestess and being manhandled, they wanted to begin assault on the soldiers but I stopped them at the last moment and ordered guards to keep them locked in this mansion," said Haldi with a resigned sigh.

"Further, this fanatic almost stabbed the priestess from behind but I was able to rush on the spot and hold her back at the last moment otherwise we all were doomed. So they are giving death glare and cold shoulder to me ever since."

The moment Haldi finished his narration, a unison "Hmph" was heard throughout the mansion.

"Although they all live in my mansion their loyalty is always inclined towards you. What wrong have I ever done to go through this ordeal" said Haldi while holding his head. For the past few days, he has been under constant fear of being murdered by the busty dark elf in his sleep.

Satvik's mind was occupied by something else. He could not believe that Meera was in stabbing range without being detected by anyone.

"How close was she to that priestess? It doesn't make sense, she would have been at least above the level 100 mark. How could she not detect Meera?" asked Satvik in astonishment.

"I've already told you, don't underestimate that busty dark elf. She's an assassin and that priestess was from the priest class, so this was the worst matchup for that priestess, to begin with" said Haldi while holding his chin and continuing after a pause.

"Mages already have a weak perception about their surroundings unless mana is involved. So it's easy to sneak on them and they're quite weak in close quarters battles as well."

"Oh!" muttered Satvik thinking of possible benefits of this new information.

Now he remembered the most obvious weakness of mages and priestess classes, it was CQB and Assassins sneaking up on them.

That's why in most of the parties mages were positioned in the centre to cover both of their weaknesses and be more effective.

Satvik kept staring at Meera while thinking about something. Satvik's continuous gaze made her blush a little and excited from within.

Satvik stood up from the sofa he was sitting on moved in front of Meera and held her hand in one of his and said with a serious gaze, "Meera I want to ask you something."

"My three sizes are.." Meera started speaking but she was stopped mid-sentence by Satvik's word.

"Meera I have a request, will you accept?" asked Satvik while ignoring her previous comment.

Meera's facial expressions changed from delight to a surprised one. She quickly got on her knees while holding his hand and put her forehead on his hand.

"Your wish is my command. You don't have to make any requests. You just have to say it and it shall be done, Master" she muttered with reverence.

Satvik bit his lips in frustration he knew what he was going to ask her was very selfish of him and it was simply taking advantage of Meera's reverence for him but he was out of time and options.

"Meera I can't take you with me," he said and paused.

Meera's whole body flinched and tears started falling on their adjoined hand. Satvik then continued.

"I want you to take care of my family while I'm home and protect them from any harm, from the shadows. Can you do that?" he questioned.

Meera nodded and in a muffled quivering voice said, "I accept."

Satvik nodded and also got on his knees. He then wiped her tears and said, "Don't cry like that, stupid. You look most stunning when you smile."

Meera nodded with a downcast gaze while holding her tears back.

Satvik sighed. He knew he was being unfair to her so he thought it was his responsibility to wager something as well.

"Let's do this, when I return after a few years and trust me I will. If you still have feelings for me and want to be tied down with me, I promise I will accept you as my wife. How about that?" said Satvik.

The moment those words left Satvik's lips Meera lifted her head and stared at him like a predator.

She then pushed him down on the floor and now was on top of him and stared him down with eyes that Satvik felt as if he was staring into the abyss.

He gulped, at such close range, he couldn't deny the fact that Meera was a gorgeous woman with perfect features as per his taste.

Her silver hair was all over his face and smelled perfect, he could feel her mildly ragged breath over his skin.

"You think my resolve is that weak, kid" she muttered.

She then gave him a passionate kiss. While Satvik was lost in the euphoria of intertwining his tongue, Haldi observed this scene with a smug.

Then after regaining his bearings, Satvik pushed her away in protest which broke their kiss.

Meera broke their kiss and said, "I, Meera who lost her family name, pledge that I will wait for you, for months, years or centuries to come."

'Now, I have definitely pushed her Yandere switch' thought Satvik while looking into her maniacal eyes filled with desire.

Then Satvik's attention went to Meera's claim that she had lost her family name. When a person is enslaved they lose their free identity and even family name.

The fact that she had one, to begin with meant she belonged to some great family or clan. Satvik choose not to pry any further for several reasons.

"Ahem, will you get off of me, Meera?" said Satvik with a slight blush.

"Of course Maaassstttteeeerrrrr" replied Meera while singing with a smile.

"Look at you claiming woman left, right and centre. And you call me a beast in heat" said Haldi while taunting him with a smug.

"Let's not get sidetracked you old coot," said Satvik a little annoyed at Haldi's comment, mainly because he knew it was true.

"Yes Sire, want me to call all the maids to take vows with you, lord Manwh**e," said Haldi while laughing.

Satvik looked at him with scrunched eyes and then an idea popped into his mind and his annoyed expression was replaced with an evil smirk.

"Meera, why don't you make this man shut his mouth."

The moment those words left Satvik's lips Meera appeared next to Haldi and pulled a knife out of nowhere and pressed its cold blade next to Haldi's neck.

"What are you doing?" Haldi shouted in protest.

"Following my master's command, like a good maid," she said in a cold voice.

"I'm your master!" Haldi exclaimed.

"You're just my employer. He is the sole owner of this body and soul" said Meera while pointing towards Satvik.

"Would you please ask your 'Fanatic maid' to let go of me" said Haldi to Satvik with grim expressions.

"Meera let him be," said Satvik and the next moment Meera appeared behind Satvik with a wide innocent smile.

Both the men looked at her with astonishment.

'It's confirmed now. I got myself a yandere' thought Satvik to himself.

"So what you wanted to talk about?" asked Haldi with an annoyed expression which was partly by annoyance and mainly by fear.

"After encountering that Priestess, I came to know that she had used a tracking spell on me," said Satvik.

"Well, I wouldn't expect anything less than that from her. She's the most paranoid, manipulative and scheming woman in the prophet's haram" replied Haldi while playing with his beard.

"Hmmm! seems like that. So as a precaution I've decided to go against the idea of enrolling in Medini Academy" said Satvik and continued.

"I couldn't agree more. The most annoying part is the fact that most of the citizens of the city are now wary of you" said Haldi.

Satvik nodded. He has seen the friendly smiles are now replaced with wary expressions of his neighbours.

"I have already decided that I will go from this city and keep moving from city to city so it becomes harder for others to track me," said Satvik and after a few moments, he continued.

"Although I need my parents to believe that I'm going to the Medini Academy, otherwise they won't be able to live peacefully, especially my mother if she came to know that I'm roaming around in this World" finished Satvik with a sigh.

"So basically you want me to lie to your parents about your enrollment in the academy?" asked Haldi.

"Bingo!" said Satvik.
