Satvik was standing before a three-storey building, which had a sign hanging, with 'Medini Adventurers' written on it.

There were many private guilds on Medini, but 'Medini Adventurers Guild' was one of the biggest and oldest guilds out there.

They had branches in almost every city, no matt er human or non-human. They were the most racial-neutral guild out, which was administered by The Council of 10 Saints.

These were the highest-ranking Adventurers in the world and their identities were secret, but all the higher-ups of every authority are the Kingdom, Merchants, or other Guilds, they knew abou t these 10 Saints.

Satvik chose this guild over any private because of these characteristics. They were fair, non-biased, and most importantly they weren't affiliated with any religion or empire.

He entered the Guild with excitement. He always wanted to go on adventures with his harem and enjoy grinding and leveling up together.

When he passed through the door, many burly-looking men and women were looking at him, while gauging him.

He gulped under their gaze. He prayed that he didn't trigger any cliche moments and ended up being bullied or trodden upon.

He was wearing a dark color hooded cloak over his body and walked to the counter, where a guild representative was sitting.

She was a middle-aged woman with ginger hair, adorned in a simple white blouse and red colored long skirt.

She eyed Satvik with her green eyes warily and then said, "Sir can you at least show your face?"

Satvik nodded and lowered his cloak. The woman's eyes opened wide after seeing Satvik's face.

"Hubba-hubba! What an eye candy," she said while licking her fingers with a flushed face.

All the females, be they an adventurer or other staff members were looking in his direction with dreamy looks.

He could feel men glaring at his back with jealousy. So, he immediately covered his face again and said, "I want to enroll as an adventurer!"

The woman was still looking at him in a daze with a flushed face and breathing heavily.

"Ma'am!" he lightly tapped the table again.

"Y-Yesh of course!" she yelled.

Then with a dry laugh, she asked, "What do you want?"

*sigh!~*

He sighed and said, "I want to enroll as an adventurer!"

"Oh sure, give me a minute!" she said and took out a parchment paper and asked him to fill in the details.

Satvik filled in his false details, he wouldn't be going around spreading his name.

So that people from Baimum Theocracy can come knocking on his door, again.

After feeling basic details as per Guild's requirements, he forwarded his form to the woman behind the counter.

She looked at his form for a second and with a frown asked him a question.

"Mr. Oneech Ansimp?"

Satvik nodded and said, "I come from a very backward area, So you wouldn't know about the language I was named in."

"What does it mean?" she asked with curiosity.

With a smile, he replied, "It means, a Gentleman!"

She blushed and resumed her work. After a while, she looked at him and said, "You're level 12, a 'First Ranker' so you'll be getting the lowest adventure rank."

"Guild Ranks are orichalcum, Mythril, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Copper, and Bronze, in that descending order."

"You'll start from the bottom, which is Bronze. You can only take the Bronze-ranked missions for now."

Everyone starts with a Bronze rank, so don't be disappointed. The more missions you complete, your rank might elevate in the future.

"Missions are generally put forth by citizens, merchants or even different authorities throughout the cities."

"You can also hunt monsters to increase your guild rank and levels at the same time. This is preferred by most of the adventurers."

She waited for the information to sink in and looked at Satvik's face with a smile.

After seeing Satvik nod and she continued further.

"For becoming an adventurer that hunts monsters, Academy City is a blessing. You can enter the 'Etna Dungeon' to farm monsters."

"Although its supervision is taken care of by authorities of the Academy after paying a gold coin, any adventurer can get access to the dungeon."

"Oh yeah! Except on weekends of course. On weekends, the Academy Students have practical exams in the dungeon."

"As an adventurer, you would never like to cross paths with those rich and snobby a**holes," she said with a smile that never reached her eyes.

Satvik nodded, he could already imagine how irritating it would be to meet a 'Young Master' or some delusional noble, who would be thinking the world revolves around them.

The guild representative then further asked, "Mr. Oneech, do you perhaps travel a lot? I mean from Kingdom to Kingdom, City to City"

Satvik nodded, he wasn't planning to stay here forever he had to head back to his hometown as well.

He was also planning on visiting different Kingdoms, especially the beast-kin's empire. It was for research purposes and to get more allies.

It wasn't for meeting the beauties of the beast-kin, not at all.

"That's good! Actually, we offer special ID passes to new adventurers, for one gold coin. With this ID pass, you can enter any City on this continent, without paying any entry fee, ever again."

"Are you interested?" she questioned him with a wink.

Satvik frowned, she was like a saleswoman trying to dupe his money. But the offer was too good to resist.

Entry tax could range from silver coins to even ten silver at times. But with this, a one-time investment he could save hundreds of silver coins.

On the other hand, once he returned to Doina City, he would never have to worry about money.

But right now his budget was tight due to a failed rendezvous with a woman. He will definitely be taking the pass for entry into the dungeon.

He also needed some equipment, he can't always fight bare hands. It was nasty and always ruined his clothes.

He decided to pay a single gold coin for the dungeon entry pass and 5 silver coins for the enrollment fee.

Now he was left with two gold coins and 15 silver coins. It had only been a day since he entered this City and he was already near bankruptcy.

He decided to save gold coins, for now, he could always earn some later and buy that city entry pass.

'Is this Las Vegas or something?' he thought to himself. This City felt like the city of the devil, a devil who was siphoning his gold coins.

The woman hurriedly finished his paperwork and handed over him a dog tag, with his details engraved on it, and on the back side, 'Medini Adventurer' was engraved.

"Here Mr. Oneech, now you are a member of our esteemed family," she said with a smile.

Satvik nodded after seeing the dog tag was made out of Bronze, so he guessed the material would change with his rank as well.

She then touched Satvik's hand and said, "Today and tomorrow is the weekend, so you can start your dungeon dive from the day after, Mr. Novice Adventurer!"

"I would suggest you make your preparation because things can go south instantly in a dungeon."

"You can get some potions and good equipment like armor and weapons from the guild-certified shop."

"But most importantly, never bite more than you can chew!" she warned him.

Satvik couldn't agree more. Only the first few floors of the dungeon were monitored. So no one can predict what can go wrong on the lower floors.

And most importantly human greed was the mother of all mishaps. Adventures dying at the hands of others were quite common for drops and achievements.

Satvik spent another gold and purchased a 'Katar' and 2 healing potions, 4 rejuvenation potions, and finally one cure potion.

[A/N: The katar is a type of push dagger from the Indian subcontinent. The weapon is characterized by its H-shaped horizontal hand grip which results in the blade sitting above the user's knuckles.]

Although he had a low heal passive skill, Aria didn't and he never would forgive himself if she got injured due to his cheapness.

Then he left the guild building and started walking towards his Inn.

While he was walking away, a pair of scarlett eyes were looking at his back from the third-floor window of the guild building.

When Satvik was no longer visible, the scarlett color changed to aqua color and the owner of the pair muttered, "Interesting fellow!"
