By the time Satvik and Aria reached Heena's humble abode, the sun had already set.
On his way, Satvik had picked some meat for his gluttonous friend and mother-daughter pair.
After seeing meat, Sneha through herself in Satvik's embrace with teary eyes. It had been a long since they have tasted.
With the meat combined with Heena's skillful cooking, Satvik had two gluttons in his hands. Sneha now looked less like a wolf-kin and more like Winnie the pooh with her inflated belly.
"Meat is the best, thank you, Bhaiya," said Sneha while massaging her tummy.
"Hahahaha, My pleasure," he replied while nudging her nose.
She then ran and sat in his lap and excitedly yelled, "So Bhaiya, what kind of monster you fought today? Was it strong? Was it ugly?"
She bombarded him with a series of questions, while her eyes were shining bright with curiosity and excitement.
"Do you wanna know?" he questioned her to tease her.
In response to this, she nodded vehemently but Satvik wasn't done teasing her and while looking at Aria questioned, "Should I tell her?"
Aria just looked at him with a neutral gaze as if she was looking at the most stupid person on this planet but Sneha panicked and used her trump card while yelling.
"Mumma, Satvik Bhaiya is bullying me!" she called for her mother's help.
Heena came to her assistance and while bowing her head said, "Young Lord please don't bully my lovely daughter. In return, you can bully me later."
After saying that Heena gave him a subtle coy smile which made Satvik gulp and he coughed and began speaking, "Well today we came face to face with a giant toad. It was 2 times taller than us."
[That's too much exaggeration, Bhaiya]
Meanwhile, Sneha said, "Ewwww!"
He ignored the interjections made by the kids and continued his story, "While we fighting the monster, Aria pounced on the monster from the front only to land in its mouth."
"Hehe, Aria is so stupid," commented Sneha while looking at Aria who was in return glaring at Satvik with a gaze filled with anger.
"Yeah she is!" he said and started laughing in response to which Aria pounced over him in order to maw him with her jaws.
"Oi wait!" exclaimed Satvik while holding Aria down.
"I was joking!!!" he yelled to pacify her partner. Even though she wouldn't attack her due to familiar contract in normal circumstances but anger always clouds one's judgment.
His prank might cause her some irrecoverable damage which he might regret in the future. Hence only after seeking her forgiveness he breathed a sigh of relief.
When their bantering was over Sneha fell asleep after tiring herself. Satvik lifted her and tucked her under the bed, while Aria also joined her in sleep.

Satvik was playing with Heena's ears while she was laying bare-naked next to him under the sheets.
Then he asked her, "So, have you decided?"
"Decided what, young Lord?" she questioned him in return.
He sighed and said, "Remember we talked about you becoming an adventurer?"
She then looked at his right arm which was holding her from the waist and embraced it and muttered, "First answer honestly, if I decide against it, would you leave us and stay somewhere else?"
He shook his head and said, "Not really!"
She nodded and said, "To be honest, I still don't have an answer to your first question, Young Lord."
"Even though the rewards are quite pleasant, the risk involved is quite high as well. I'm afraid if something happens to me in there, Sneha would be left all alone in this world."
"I don't want my daughter to go through things that I had to as an orphan," she said with a voice filled with sorrow.
Satvik didn't say anything and listened to her quietly. What she said made a lot of sense. If he wasn't given such a burden on his shoulder maybe he would also choose to live without any unnecessary risk.
While he was lost in his own thoughts, she energetically yelled, "But I will try to support you as much as possible.....in every way possible."
The last part she shyly hummed under her breath but he heard it quite clearly and he was already old enough to know what she meant.
"But your training doesn't stop!" he said while rubbing his nose on her nape.
"Even I don't want that. I would like to have enough strength to protect my daughter's future," she said proudly.
"You don't have to worry about your daughter's future anymore, I'll take care of you both. You both have treated me well, I'll pay back a hundred times," he said.
"Hehehe, You're the first one to show us kindness. So, in the first place, you don't need to pay back but if you still insist, I'll accept it happily," she while laughing.
Satvik also laughed due to her playful manner and then she questioned, "So Young Lord, how are you going to take care of this old abandoned slave and her daughter?"
"I'm not complaining, but you too are suffering from a shortage of wealth, are you not?"
Satvik gave her a smirk and said, "This is just a phase, it'll pass."
"You seem quite positive as if you're already hiding something?" she questioned with curiosity.
"Hahaha! You have no idea," he said while ruffling her hair.
She pouted and said, "Don't you trust me?"
Satvik sighed and said, "I trust you, it is your slave seal that I don't trust at all. Just give me a few more days and once we get rid of your seal....."
Then he trailed off in the end and then Heena felt something hard poking her butt.
Her eyes opened with shock, she turned around and looked at him with her eyes wide as a saucer and questioned, "Again?"
"Ha ha ha! Please!" he could only laugh nervously and make a request.
Her eyes became gentle after kissing his lips she said, "Of course, I'm here to serve you...ahmmmmmm!!!"
"At least be gentle," she said while biting on her lips due to extreme pleasure.

Kavya was sitting in a room, which was at the topmost floor of the 'Medini Adventurer' guild.
In front of her was the Guild Manager, who was casually smoking his pipe while looking at her.
After puffing out he spoke, "That was a good stunt you pulled out a few hours back!"
Kavya didn't reply and kept looking at the person in front of her with a poker face. Then after observing him for a couple of minutes she said, "So, why have you called me?"
"Are you kidding me? You're trying to trick one of my newly enrolled guild members and you're giving me that attitude?" asked the manager while fuming in anger.
"How much do I have to pay?" she asked nonchalantly.
"Listen, little girl, everything isn't about money," he said with disdain.
"Pretty much have been for me," she replied arrogantly.
A smirk appeared on his face as he said, "So, is this the reason you have been trying to approach that young adventurer? Are you planning to sell his service?"
"To be honest I wouldn't be surprised. He has a quite charming physical appearance or so I have heard from my female staff."
Kavya's nonchalant expression was now replaced with a frown after hearing the guild manager.
Looking at her changing expression the guild manager laughed and said, "hahaha! Not monetary anymore?"
"Just tell me what you want and let us get over with it," she said collecting her bearings back.
He sighed and said, "I want you to stay away from him. You won't believe me but that boy is a bundle of trouble."
Kavya raised an eyebrow. She was now even more intrigued and questioned him, "What do you know about him?"
"Enough to warn you. Don't get tangled with him," he replied without disclosing any information regarding Satvik.
She shook her head and said, "I don't know if the stories you have told me about my father being your friend in the old days are true or not."
"And even if they are true you still don't have any right to control me, I'm a lady and very well know what is good for me or not. At least now!"
After saying that she stood up and said, "If you don't have anything to tell me about him, then why don't we call it a night? Good night!"
After saying that she left the room while walking away gracefully.
The guild manager smiled nostalgically and said, "She has her dad's temperament."
Then he leaned back in his chair and muttered, "I tried but she's not a kid anymore. I hope you won't curse me from the heavens."
*Knock-knock*
Then he heard a knock on his door and said, "You may enter."
One of his subordinates entered and said, "The council has assembled and everyone is waiting for you, Manager."
The manager nodded and said, "Let's get this over with shall we."
