"Don't ever call me that, lady-bug," growled Chaaru.

Ignoring the catfight taking place between other females, Paanchang questioned Noah, "So what are your plans with this young fellow?"

"As usual, I would prefer to remain neutral and would expect the same from you people," Noah said, grinning as he thanked his fellow council member in his head.

'At least someone in this room is level-headed. Maybe it is the age factor,' thought Noah internally.

He anticipated that everyone would support his plan, but when he saw the conflicting responses he got, he knew a storm was now brewing.

Internally, Noah rubbed his forehead and thought, "Ahh shit!"

"Hehehehe! This is going to be enjoyable! "Daskh shouted, swigging beer from his mug. He enjoyed watching the conflict between the women and Ekaant.

"Shorty, what are your thoughts on the situation?" Chaalava murmured, staring at Daksh.

"I don't care," Daksh murmured as he shrugged his shoulders.

Chaalava answered, "That shouldn't surprise anyone."

Due to the members' hostile attitude towards one another, the remaining discussion was postponed.

Each person's hologram gradually vanished, leaving Noah alone with his dependable subordinates.

Reina was the first to speak and said, "Well, Manager, that didn't go according to what you had planned."

"Well, they can be a bunch of rowdy kids sometimes," Noah murmured as he cast a worn-out glance her way.

After pausing for a moment, Reina hesitantly asked Noah, "Why did you show them somebody else's face and tried to pretend that belonged to that young kid?"

Leaning back in his chair, Noah lit his pipe and took a puff.

Eventually, he explained, "I had a nagging suspicion that information regarding his emergence would incite different reactions."

"And after witnessing those kinds of opposing views, I'm delighted that they are still oblivious to his accurate appearance. At least his safety is not at direct risk now."

Reina nodded and after a while, they all left the room and with that the annual meeting of the Council of 10 came to an unfruitful ending.

Interior of the Etna Dungeon

[So, Bhaiya, are we going to fight the floor boss today?]

As Satvik and Aria entered the dungeon, questioned Aria from him telepathically.

Aria exited the bag as Satvik set it down on the ground. Then, after a brief stretch, he said, "Nope! You must solo this floor today."

[Huh?]

Out of surprise and confusion, Aria blurted.

He said with a nod "Yes, I'll give you my full support today. Go crazy!"

In the dimly lit cavern, Aria's canines sparkled as she grinned broadly in his direction.

                -------------------------------

*Crunch!*

*Crunch!!*

Satvik scrunched his brows in disgust and holdback throwing up as he heard the noise of Aria biting on the toad's neck in order to kill it.

Then after ensuring the death of her prey in her mouth, she walked towards Satvik with her fur dyed red due to toad blood.

{Couldn't you kill them in a more....graceful way?}

He questioned and then went to his knees and used his water-aura-covered palm to clean her blood-soaked fur.

[A true hunter is not graceful but a deadly one.]

Satvik rolled his eyes and fetched a piece of cloth in order to wipe her fur to ensure that she doesn't catch cold.

          -----------

[Name: Aria Vinashak]

[Level: 10]

[Defense: 89]

[Agility: 104]

[Stamina: 108]

[Mana: 124]

[Spirit: 0 ]

[Skill (Active): Claw (Lvl 4), Bite ( Lvl 5), Stealth (Lvl 5)]

[Skill (Passive): Spatial Awareness (Lvl 4), Heightened Senses (Lvl 5), Fearless Pride (Lvl Max), Menace (Lvl 1)]

[Blessings: Goddess 'Asura Destroyer' ]

            -------------------

{So, congratulations! You progressed to level 10 and even acquired an entirely novel skill.}

He praised her while patting her on the head.

[Of course, this is only the beginning. Let's go find the floor boss. It has yet to be killed today, or at least I hope it is.]

The floor boss, a giant toad of level 9-10, would spawn daily at a specific time, and adventuring parties would camp for hours to kill it.

"Calm down, and don't let this early victory get to your head," he said, flicking her head, and went on.

"The floor boss is enormous and cannot be killed by your small dagger or tiny claws."

The floor boss was claimed to be as big as a single-room house and most adventurers partied up to chip its health with time, finally defeating it in the battle of endurance.

"Neither our party setup nor our equipment permits it. For the time being, we must stick with the small monster "He stated that and started moving.

Aria nodded and started following him.

{So, have you analyzed your new skill? }

While looking for more prey for her to hunt and progress, he questioned her telepathically.

[Yes! It goes on to state that I can make monsters weaker than me lose heart and will to fight for their lives would decrease as my skill levels up.]

Satvik deduced from her response that this new passive skill was similar to a debuff skill. A monster that had lost its heart and will to fight was effectively dead.

{That's an excellent skill, and I hope your subsequent killing sprees become more refined as the monster on this floor won't be able to show much resistance.}

Aria nodded and jumped onto her next prey which had become a statue in fear while looking at her.

After chewing on a few more toads Aria made a proposal.

[Bhaiya, at least go and watch others taking down the floor boss. Maybe it can help us in our fight in the future.]

Satvik nodded and the duo made their way to the floor boss's room.

                  -----------------------------------

"Mages now!"

Yelled the party leader directing the mages to unleash their spell on the injured floor boss.

It was a dark grey-skinned toad of the size of an adult African elephant. It had dark green eyes which were glowing in the dark.

Its body was covered in several deep gashes delivered by the melee fighters from the party of adventurers.

It was a party of eight adventurers and their composition was two mages, one archer, one priest, three close combatants, and their leader who was a shield bearer.

It was a pretty balanced party with the average level being level 11, which was a little bit overkill given the level of the monster who was only level 9.

However, their average level also ensured that they will not suffer any unnecessary setbacks and this boss fight was smooth sailing for them.

Most high-leveled adventures avoided fighting low leveled monsters because the returns were low, be it the experience points or drops, at least for the first ten floors it was the case.

Hence, low leveled floor bosses were left for low leveled parties and it became a practice. The stronger adventurer was barred from farming the boss monsters of floors 1-10.

"Fire ball!"

"Rock bullet!"

Satviks's train of thought was brought to halt by the yelling of the two mages, unleashing their elemental spells.

"Trrrr!!!!!"

The toad roared in pain as the spells landed on it and after a while it stopped moving completely, marking the victory of its enemies.

"Hooorah!!!"

"Hell yeah!!"

The adventurer started celebrating their victory joyously while a few fell on the ground due to immense tiredness.

While the party of adventurers was celebrating, they failed to notice a man and a small beast who was observing them from the cover.

The duo's gaze was fixed on the dead body of the floor boss as if they were analyzing every inch of it.

The duo then looked at each other and after nodding, left that location discretely after doing their planned recon.
