"That's the proof of my innocence," Satvik said.

The guild representative was looking at the round crystal in his palm and muttered, "Recording Crystal?"

Recording crystals were the magic artifact created by using high-level monster cores. There main purpose was to record short visual messages or videos which could be played later.

Recording crystals were mainly used by administrative authorities to convey important messages within their establishment or send reports to others.

On the other hand, nobles used these crystals to record memorable events of their lives and even send greetings and invitations to another important members of the society.

People with average income would hardly ever purchase one since even, the crystal of the lowest quality would cost several silver coins on average.

But Satvik purchased the crystal the moment he arrived in the city with a far better use that came to his mind and had sent a letter informing the same to his hometown.

Recording Crystals could be used as a spy cameras.

When Satvik came to know about regular incidents or people alleging that their prey was attacked by another adventurer or kill-stealing, he came up with this plan.

He knew 'human tendencies' very well.

Satvik nodded and said, "You can show it to others and I'll collect it later from you, at the guild."

After he finished speaking, Satvik started walking away but a few soldiers were unsatisfied with his lack of explanation, so they still blocked his path.

"Let him go!" said the guild representative.

"Tch!"

The soldiers clicked their tongues and gave Satvik a passage.

Meanwhile, the representative poured a little bit of his mana into the crystal and it started glowing and then the whole crowd enjoyed the show of Lyer begging for Satvik's assistance.

Everyone was looking at Ayer with contempt and anger. Meanwhile, Lyer was in shock as well, he didn't expect Satvik to be this cunning.

"Ahem!"

The guild representative cleared his throat in order to gain Lyer's attention and said, "Mr. Lyer, I am afraid that you will be accompanying me to the guild for further investigation. This is not the first time you have made such claims against your fellow adventurers."

"Lyer was a liar! Who could have guessed?" said the adventurer from the group while rolling his eyes.

Everyone started hurling abuses at Lyer while he walked away with the guild representative...

                   ------------------------------------

Meanwhile, Satvik was standing before the gold building as well. He wanted to sell the monster loot he was carrying for so long, it was killing his shoulder.

When he opened the entrance door, he observed that the guild was quite empty which was given due to the fact that it was only mid-day and most adventurers would still be crawling in the dungeon.

He arrived at the counter, where a ginger head was waiting for him, and greeted him with a smile.

Satvik looked at her and with slight hesitation said, "Hello, Gingerina!"

"Ha ha ha! Good Morning Mr. Ansimp!" she said with a dry laugh.

"Like everyone close to me, you can call me Reina from now on. It's short, sweet, and bubbly just like me," she said coquettishly and then started giggling.

Satvik looked at the woman with a deadpan expression, while he was trying to contemplate which woman was the better, the real one and the fake one that he met last time.

Then Reina placed her hand under her chin and questioned him, "So, for what reason are you here today?"

"I'm pretty sure you would never come here just to meet this pretty lady," she said with a pout.

Satvik didn't react to her statement at all. Though he would never hate the attention of such a bombshell of a lady in his gut he knew that there was something more to 'original Reina's' playful manner.

It was like she was trying to honeytrap him into spilling out the secret he was hiding.

'Woman our dangerous beings! Physically they might seem weak but mentally, they could destroy your world and you wouldn't even realize it before it was too late!'

His mother has told him once. Now he was pretty sure she was warning him about a woman like Reina.

Satvik removed his mask and after putting a hand over his chest, he said with a smile, "Trust me, I would love to have a rendezvous with a gorgeous woman such as yourself."

"But, I'm a weak adventurer who needs to work hard for a living. I hardly get any days off!" he finished.

*Gulp!~*

Reina gulped audibly while looking at Satvik's radiant smile. She couldn't deny the fact that Satvik's charm passes her by miles.

If she wasn't careful, she'll be the one spilling beans while being mesmerized by the young man in front of her.

On the other hand, Satvik was now looking at her with a smug plastered over his face. Just by looking at her blushing, he came to the conclusion that in today's battle of charm, he stood victorious.

"Ahem! So what can I help you with, dear adventurer?" she questioned with a professional smile.

Satvik laughed internally after looking at her change of attitude and said, "I'm here to sell my loot."

Reina nodded and said, "The materials from the first-floor boss, right? Follow me!"

Satvik frowned and was trying to figure out how come she knew about this, even though he had directly come to the guild after leaving the dungeon.

"heheheh~"

Reina giggled like a certified Vixen while walking and after a wink said, "We, 'Medini Adventurer Guild,' are quite famous for our information network!"

Then she took him to a similar room, where he was guided by Gingerina.

After entering the room, Satvik pulled out bones, skin, and a marble-sized monster core of the floor boss.

The floor boss of the first floor has been the only monster from which Satvik had obtained a monster core which sells for a higher price, compared to other materials.

Reina with the help of another representative calculated the profits that Satvik had made from his haul.

Then started telling him, "You'll get 15 copper coins for the bones, and 2 silver coins for the monster core."

"Then regarding the Hard skin of the monster. I've never seen one in such good condition. The ones we usually get our hands on are heavily damaged. But this one only has a few gnashes."

Then she looked at Satvik with a sly smile and questioned, "Won't you tell your Di, how you managed to kill it with such efficiency, huh?"

Satvik shook his head.

"Oh, Lord! Reina Di is hurt by outright rejection!" she said while sniffing.

She then said, "You'll get 5 silver coins for the skin!"

[Oh my lord!]

Satvik's eyes became wide as a saucer and even Aria was surprised and yelled telepathically.

He internally thanked Lyer's party for being incompetent to even put slight damage on Giant Toads' hard upper skin.

With today's profit combined he had scrapped enough to deal with Heena's Slave seal.

Satvik was turned around after he was paid and was about to walk away.

"Wait!"

But he was stopped by Reina. His feet came to a halt and looked at her.

"Now that you have dealt with the first-floor boss, I assume you'll be going down to the second floor, right?"

Satvik nodded.

"Sigh~ I would suggest that you should party up with at least one more person. It is better to have more people watching your back, even though you and your little friend over here are special."

While she said that, her eyes color changed to scarlett color from her usual green.

The moment Satvik looked at her he lost his cool and started to panic, while his eyes also turned scarlett.

He knew his skill wouldn't work but he was still disappointed.

Reina looked at his scarlett eyes and while laughing and gestured for the other representative to leave.

When the only people left in the room were Reina, Satvik, and Aria, she came closer to Satvik and ruffled his hair while saying, "Don't worry, your secret is safe. Only a handful of people know your identity, dear Satvik."

Satvik frowned and said, "How come my identity is safe when it's already known to many?"

"Well, only two people know about your physical appearance. So, I guess that it's pretty much safe, at least for now."

"And I must say if it wasn't for my skill even I wouldn't have come to know about your true existence. You have been playing your role of being weak pretty well," she said with a smile.

Satvik was still not satisfied and was now planning to leave this city as soon as possible.

Looking at his chaotic expression, Reina smiled and placed a black colored bracelet in his palm. Then with a serene smile, she began speaking.

"This is a gift from the Guild manager. He's the other person who knows your identity and intends to keep it hidden."
