Chapter 135: Sit On Grandma's Lap!

In the hall, Grandma Yan was holding Little Qiqi on her lap while Little Jia tried to sit beside her.
"Hey, don't sit there."
Grandma Yan said in a stern voice seeing Little Jia sitting on the sofa, beside her.
The girl's Yu Lan, Yanran, Lin sighed hearing Grandma Yan, though they knew Little Jia was a nice girl and Ye Qian had told her to call him Papa, but the chances of Grandma Yan accepting Little Jia as her granddaughter was very low, since who knew what they might think.
They didn't know if they must intervene, they didn't want Little Jia's small heart and mind to experience such partiality.
But then something happened which brought a wide smile on their lips and they sighed in relief.
Little Jia's face turned sad, she thought Grandma would not be happy with her so she apologized.
"Sorry Grandma, Jia will not...."
But Grandma Yan waved her hand and brought placed it on her head.
"Hehe, how can my lovely granddaughter sit on the sofa, come sit on Grandma's lap."
Hearing Grandma Yan's words Yu Lan and her friends sighed again and sat on the sofa without any worry.
Grandma Yan caressed Little Jia's hair and fondled her cheeks while lifting her up and placing her on her other lap.
"Hehe, Grandma is playing with Big Sister, but Grandma you shouldn't beat Grandpa and let him starve or Qiqi will not talk to you."
Grandma Yan rubbed Little Jia's back after placing her on her lap and turned to Little Qiqi.
Little Qiqi giggled and said while looking at Grandpa Yan walking in while holding the box.
"Ok, if my lovely granddaughter says so, I will not beat that Old Ye, but he should not stop me from loving my sweet child as well."
Grandma Yan pinched Little Qiqi's fluffy cheeks and grinned.
