Chapter 145: Can't Let You Die!

The Greater Heaven, consisting of an enormous number of galaxies having many large planets.
On a planet that looked similar to Earth but a few 100 times larger.
A lady caressed the face of her son while handing him some copper coins.
"Fei's take this money and try to join the Star Void Sect, mother will stay here till you return and do some chores, when you get strong and have power in the Sect come back to get mother by then."
"Mother only wants to see her Fei'er grow."
She said while her lips trembled, she had known that she would not be able to live for a few more days much less a few years, she just wanted to let her son leave while she dies without any worry for him after he enters the Sect.
She knew that once her son enters the Sect it will be much hard to come out any soon.
She was just a mortal and couldn't live for not more than 100 years..
She just wanted her son to forget about her and live his life ahead.
The boy named Fei held the coins tightly in his hands and said.
"Mother, I will work hard and earn a lot of money, but I won't go to the Sect, I want to stay with you, when I find a way for you to cultivate then I will also start cultivating. But for now, let me carry you to the Alchemist Master."
The boy wiped his mother's tears with his small hands and then tried to pull the cart again.
"AHHHH."
After a few meters he fell again and this time his knees were bleeding.
The lady jumped off the cart and ran to him hearing her son cry.
"Fei'er why do you have to be so stubborn, can't you listen to your mother only once?"

Her tears moistened the dry soil on the ground while she tore some of the cloth and wrapped it around her son's knees as she coughed a few times.
"Mother, Fei'er will be happy when mother is with me."
"Mother, let's go to the shop there."
The boy stood up and helped his mother, they had walked only a few steps when the two felt the air around them move.
"SIGH"
They heard a sigh and a figure wearing the most valuable robes they had ever seen appeared in front of them.
The woman was baffled for a few seconds before she went on her knees and pulled her son as well.
"Great Immortal, we are sorry to cross the Venerable's path, may Immortal pity on our lives and forgive us."
She said while bowing her head and constantly hiring her head on the ground.
"SIGH"
"You don't have to do this."
A gentle voice rang in her ears followed by a sigh.
Then she felt the wind around them lifting them up.
Her face turned bleak, she that the person was going to kill her and her son.
She was not afraid of death but she couldn't see her son die like this.
She stuttered and joined her hands and tried to bow.
"Great Immortal, we are not worthy of being embarked on the journey of the afterlife, please spare my child I am willing to be your slave for the rest of my life."
The lady chose her words very carefully as to not anger the powerful Immortal in front of them.
She knew she couldn't live long, but if she could make her son live and not worry about her then this was the only choice for her.
"Haha."
The figure in front of them chuckled.
"Lady you are really smart, knowing that you are going to die after a few days you want to let your child think you are fine when he is left free."
The voice seemed amused and didn't have a trace of anger and in fact, sounded pleased.
"Mother, what is the man saying?"
"You.. you are going to die."
The boy's whole body trembled as he saw his mother.
"Fei'er mother only wants you to forget me and live a nice life, my child."
She said with tears in her eyes.
"Hey you man, let my mother go."
The boy roared while pointing his hand at the figure.
"Haha."
The figures lips curved into a pleased smile.
"Great Immortal, my child is still small, he doesn't know much how he must greet the Immortals please spare his life."
The lady's body shook and she prayed while kowtowing in the air.
"SIGH"
"You two are really nice, I can't let any of you die."
Followed by a sigh the man said and then waved his hand.
The two were then placed don't the ground and they glanced at the person in front of them.
The lady was quite baffled by the person's looks and blushed as she saw him in the eyes.
His eyes were like Sapphire Crystals and paired with his blue hair, made him look otherworldly.
"Forgive this lowly mortal for looking at the Great Immortal."
The woman said with a tinge of pink on her cheeks.
The soldiers around rolled their eyes.
'Weren't just now you were asking to forgive him for our life now you forgot that?'
They thought but none didn't dare to say anything aloud.
Just then another figure appeared next to the previous figure.
"Venerable Ye, you left just like that, let me treat you with the delicacies of our Kingdom."
Saying that the figure took a box made of White Wood and bowed down as he lifted the box toward the Venerable Ye.
The lady saw the figure which bowed down was draped in golden fabric and had her eyes wide open.
Her eyes almost popped out seeing the person who was bowing on the ground without any embarrassment.
In fact, it seemed like he was happy that to bow in front of the Great Immortal who had held her and her son in the air.
The lady glanced at the figure standing tall and high and saw he was wearing nice robes but they were not as valuable as the person who was bowing.
