Chapter 182: No Matter What You Look Like, I Will Always Love You!

While Ye Qian was thinking if his mother knew the technique of Spirit Stove, Grandma Yan had finished making the Vegetable Stir Fry and was placing it in the bowl which Yuan Meng brought to her.

Grandma Yan thanked and went to the basin and washed her hand before looking at the dazed Ye Qian.
"Hey, Little Qi, what happened to you?"
Grandma Yan asked him as she went to him and waved her hand a few times at him.

"If you are done then we must go, the girls were hungry."
Grandma Yan said and took a few plates and other small things and walked out.

She called while she walked out of the kitchen to the dining room.

Yuan Meng nodded and turned back to Ye Qian to see him standing there in a daze, again.
"Qian'er, what happened?"
She asked seeing him like this and picked the small bowls containing different stir-fries to Ning Wie and Yu Lan.
The two nodded and left in a hurry, there were still many things that needed to be carried out once they placed the bowls.
The two walked out with leaving only Ye Qian and Yuan Meng in the kitchen.
"Qian'er, I know you feel bad about hiding the things from mom, but what use it would be for her after she knows that you have so many powers, and let's think that you told her about it, how are you going to explain things to her."
"Could she be able to bear that her child died and the man standing in front of her was just the soul of her son while the body belonged to another?"

She gave a small peck on his lips and smiled at him while she turned around and walked out of the kitchen.
Now it was only Ye Qian who was there in the kitchen, he slumped on the chair behind him and staggered to find support.
He really didn't know what he should think.
For, Yuan Meng's words were more than enough to shatter the way in which he thought of the world and love.
He had always thought of meeting back with her and Qiqi but he never thought that if his face was not the same how would anyone react, sure, his mom would not believe him as Ye Qian at first and nor would Yuan Meng.
He had also wondered how would the man there had the same face as him for some time but then he thought that it might have been a coincidence and nothing else.
But at first, his face was not completely the same as that of his previous self, it just looked somewhat similar and not completely identical.
But with time his facial features became more like his previous self who had died in the Valley of Dragon and Phoenix.
This was completely something else and though he had a lot of doubts about it, he couldn't ask others about this as well, who knew if they even knew about it or not, besides there was even a chance of him being a specimen for the great power of the Cultivation world.
Later with time and his hearing for his family he stopped thinking about it until he didn't even have it in his mind now.
Ye Qian shook his head and let go of these messing thoughts, even if he were to think about it for till the time his life ends, then too, he won't be able to know the real reason behind such a messing question.
For now, he was content with the fact that he was back with his family and everything would be good from then on, with him coming back.
Ye Qian gulped down a glass full of water and stood up while Ning Wei and Yuan Meng came back followed by Yu Lan just a few steps behind them.
Yuan Meng could notice the tension in his eyebrows and gave him a slight nod.
Saying him.
"Everything is fine; you are Ye Qian."
She understood that what she had said would have made Ye Qian worry a lot about some other possibilities which might have been possible.
But now things were already good enough so it was only a waste of time and would only cause worry if Ye Qian were to think about it anymore now.
Ye Qian passed the two bowls of rice to the two ladies while Yu Lan was handed the remaining things like spoons and dishware's which were needed.
