Chapter 199: Mumma Won't Be Able To Stay With You

The lights of the room were turned off and the small bedside lamp shone with dim light.
The door was also closed by Ning Wei as they left.
Meanwhile, within the room.
Xiao Ya started at the door for a few moments before she took the necklace in her palms, and glanced at it.
"He gave me this, to keep it."
She mumbled as her eyes welled up with tears.
She remembered that the last time someone gave her something as a gift or for her was only her mother, who gave her a watch which she still had on her wrist.
Thinking of this she glanced at her hand and didn't find her watch on her wrist.
Her heart tightened, she looked around and saw that the watch was placed near the lamp.
She heaved a sigh of relief and picked up the watch to check the time and then covered herself with the blanket.
She fell into a deep sleep as soon as she closed her eyes.
Meanwhile, the necklace glowed with faint golden and green light and a different kind of sound was coming out of it, but it was not audible to human ears.
That night, Xiao Ya saw a dream.
A dream in which she saw a man holding her hand and was taking the wedding vow with her.
A wide smile appeared on her lips while she slept happily and without any negative thoughts filling her heart and mind, making her sleep soundly after a long period of time.

Meanwhile, after Ye Qian, Yuan Meng and Ning Wei walked out of the room they headed back to the kitchen where Ye Qian and Ning Wei helped wash the things and Yuan Meng helped them dry and place them properly.
The kitchen was completely silent while they were doing the work except for the sound of splashing water.
But Yuan Meng and Ning Wei's heart was filled with love and they had their eyes on Ye Qian all the time.
Oblivious to their stared Ye Qian continued to wash the vessels.
Just in about 10 minutes, all the things were done.
Ye Qian turned to the two ladies who had just washed their hands and were drying them.
"You two sleep with the girls, I have some work to do."
He said with calmness while removing the apron.
"Huh?"
Yuan Meng and Ning Wei were a little shocked.
For them, this was not something Ye Qian would do.
Leaving at night while leaving the little girls to sleep with them alone and not him.
He would of course not want to leave Little Qiqi and Little Jia.
The two looked at each other but shook their heads as none knew the reason behind it.
"Qian'er..."
"Mengmeng, don't worry I will be back in just an hour or maybe even less."
Ye Qian shook his head while taking the jar of water from the table and drinking a lot of water.
In just a few seconds the whole jar was emptied by him.
Seeing him behaving such Yuan Meng could only nod.
"Come back quick."

"Sister Meng, why would he go out at such a time, it's so dark already."
Ning Wei asked with slight worry.
"He might have some important work or he might have not left at this time."
Yuan Meng said while looking at Ye Qian who walked out after closing the main door.
She sighed and turned to Ning Wei.
"Come, there is no point in staying here now, let's go to sleep, it has also been a stressful day for us."
Yuan Meng said while she took some water in the glass and offered it to Ning Wei.

The two walked in and switched the lamps on only to see the two little girls were hugging each other as they slept.
Little Jia had her hand around Little Qiqi, while Little Qiqi had one of her legs embracing Little Jia.
They both had their lips opened as they slept.
The blanket which Grandma Yan had carefully placed on the two was somewhere at the corner of the bed by now.
Seeing the two little girls sleeping like this Yuan Meng and Ning Wei turned to each other and giggled lightly.
"Sister Wei, let me get some clothes for you."
Yuan Meng said while she went to the cupboard and took two pieces of dress on for her and the other for Ning Wie.
She then handed one to her and nodded.
Ning Wei smiled at her and walked to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, Yuan Meng turned to the window in the direction of the Mall they had gone to today.
"Qian'er, I know, what you want to do, and I won't stop you for that."
She mumbled as she glanced at the two little girls who were sleeping in each other embrace and smiled.
She sat at the head of the bed and gently caressed the hairs of the two little girls while helping to tug the blanket back on them properly.
"You need to get used to your Aunt Wei properly my dear, Mumma doesn't know if she will be able to stay for long with your Papa and you."
As she said, Yuan Meng's eyes turned red and a few tears dripped down her cheeks and some fell on Little Qiqi's head.
