Chapter 234: Desperate Measure

He laughed out around before a pointed the slab of metal and tapped his thumb on it.
As soon as his thumb was placed on the slab a faint light appeared right where he placed his finger and a scanner like a device appeared under.
It seemed like it was a biometric device that would only get activated after the Boss used his finger.
With that, a few strings of beeps were heard, though they were very small.
The Boss also tapped a few times and then chuckled lightly while he rushed out if another hidden passage.
"Now go die."
After a minute he was out of the factory area and glanced at the factory and then glanced at the slab of metal in his hand.
There was a ticking timer that was running in reverse.
The time on it was.
"50 sec."
"Just a few more seconds and then this ghost on my back would also turn into a meat paste."
He sneered once again while he walked to the car which was parked no less than a few more 100 metres.

Han Xiaowen was just a kilometre away from the factory as she took a glance at the files beside her.
"If this deal is finalized by us then it would only mean that we would have a lot of support and funding with another expansion of the company."
She mumbled with a wide smile on her lips as she thought of what her mother had said about how much this abandoned place would be able to turn tides against them and even help them grow.
Since the time her mother had woken up Han Xiaowen had decided that she would always be with her and learn all the things related to business from her.
She knew that though her mother had not gone to a business university like her, still she still had a lot of experience in the industry, which would even make the most learned ones bow their heads down in shame.
Right now she was just a couple of minutes away from the factory, she had wanted to rush at a high speed but there was a lot of darkness and there were barely any street lamps, so she didn't speed up her car.
She placed her right hand on her locket which gave her a serene vibe and continued to drive,
She had wanted to go and search for the man who had sold her the charms and thus even went to the Ancient Relic Market in order to search for him.
But all she got was a face full of disappointment.
According to them, there was no such person who would keep his stall, and mostly the place she had met the man was always empty.
Somehow she even thought that he was a messenger of God for her who had come so as to help her.
With that feeling of disappointment, she went back to her house and later her mother told her about the business strategy she had formulated to get back the few people back to her side and making her uncle lose everything.
While she was driving she heard a sound which shocked her.
"Was that the sound of a gun?"
She stopped the car right away when she heard two more gunshots.
"Ahhh."
She placed her hand on her mouth and gasped.
The sound of gunshots was coming out from the direction of the factory and she didn't doubt that she heard it wrong.
Ever since that man placed his hand on her head she felt that even her senses had become way sharper, she could even see anything which she would normally be not able to and the same was with her hearing.
She started the car and pressed the gas pedal while she sped it to the factory without any concern.

Meanwhile, Ye Qian was rushing towards the basement without caring about damaging the factory, he was breaking walls after walls and if one were to see there was a human size hole in all of them which seemed to have been made carefully, this was caused due to the high speed at which Ye Qian crushed through them.
After a string of walls, Ye Qian appeared right above the place where the basement was hidden.
The basement seemed to have been made just a few days ago since the solid was right above the place.

Ye Qian punched the small iron door which was covered by solid and scraps of the metals all around.
Ye Qian really wanted to kill the man for all this.
The children were already living the worst and now he even left them to die.
Though he understood that he might have done this to stop himself from searching for him first but Ye Qian didn't want to believe that anyone would even have the heart to harm these small children. Much less use them as bait to spare for some time.
Ye Qian's entire body trembled and the fire in his eyes began to increase with each moment.
"AAAHHHH."

Ye Qian roared once again while fire covered his hands and punched for one more time.
With a loud bam, the thick door of iron was blasted into smithereens as Ye Qian jumped down.
His hands and eyes were completely covered in the Fire of Pridid but still, he had his rationality as he walked to the door of the room where he heard many crying sounds.
Of course, the cries were of the small children who were woken up by the loud bangs above them followed by Ye Qian's roar.
Ye Qian carefully opened the door while trying to cal himself as much as possible, the least he wanted to do was to make the kids afraid of him.
The fire in his eyes died down, but instead of pupils, he had lava in his eyes, while the fire in his hands also went off.
