Chapter 277: Is It A Magical Creature?

After waking up and freshening herself up, Xiao Ya's stomach made some weird noises.
Of course, that was because she was hungry, but she was confused as to how would she be so much hungry that even her stomach would make noises.
Because she had eaten nearly about 5 times of what she would normally eat and she still felt so much hungry now.
With a wry smile, Xiao Ya walked out of the room only to hear some cartoon voices.
She walked to the living room and noticed two small girls were playing with a small sparrow-like bird which was unbelievable big compared to the usual sparrows which she had seen for so long.
At first, the bird didn't look much different but then something happened which she would have never thought.
The bird flew from the little girl's hand and rushed to her.
And there was something completely different as the bird flew to her.
She saw anger and vigilance in the bird's eyes.
She didn't understand what she might have done to anger the bird but from the looks of it the bird seemed to be something much more powerful as the temperature in the room continued to increase and she could easily feel the change.
"BBBZZZZ"
The Serpent Egg in her necklace also buzzed as if in fright.
Knowing why the egg was buzzing, Xiao Ya quickly turned around while holding the basket pendant with her hands tightly.
"Hey Little Sparrow where are you flying, come to Qiqi."
That was when Xiao Ye heard a baby voice.
"CHIRP"
The small sparrow chirped and turned mid-air as if she was flying in that direction all along without feeling any resistance in changing her path of flying.
"Hehe, were you going to Aunt Lan'er's friend?"
Little Qiqi asked as the little thing landed on her wrist and gave her finger a light peck.
"CHIRP CHIRP"
The sparrow chirped with a small nod and then glanced at Xiao Ya.
But Xiao Ya felt that the bird was not looking at her but at the pendant on her necklace.
She glanced at it as it had again started to buzz, she could feel the fear that the egg was feeling like there was a connection in between them.
'Could it be that the bird is also a magical creature?'
A sudden thought popped in Xiao Ya's mind as she thought of the things Ye Qian had said to her yesterday.
Though the bird looked like a sparrow it was still twice the size and with that, the sudden change in temperature of the surrounding made Xiao Ya completely believe her thought.
"It seems like the bird can also understand what one says."
Xiao Ya mumbled and carefully walked to the little girl while completely staying on guard, she was vigilant of the sparrow more now.
"Hello little one, you know me?"
Xiao Ya asked with a forced smile.
She understood that if the little girl had not called the sparrow then she would likely not be able to stay here.
"Hmm."
"Yes, you are our Aunt Lan'er's friend, so Qiqi knows you."
Little Qiqi nodded while patting the sparrow's head and looking up at Xiao Ya.
"Ohh, so your name is Qiqi?"
Completely amazed by the actions of the little girl Xiao Ya didn't feel much afraid of the sparrow and patted Little Qiqi's head.
"Hehe, yes. Qiqi is Papa's Butterfly."
Little Qiqi nodded while Little Jia walked to them and asked.
"Big Sister, you should be feeling hungry right?"
"Hmm."
Xiao Ya could only nod since she was indeed feeling hungry.
"Papa and Mom are still in the kitchen you should join them."
Little Jia pointed at the kitchen and informed her.
She understood that this big sister would be feeling hungry since they were also feeling hungry after waking up so she didn't need to think of it much it was pretty common here.
"Thank you."
Xiao Ya pated Little Jia's head with a pleased smile and turned to the direction Little Jia had pointed.
As soon as she left the little girls turned to the little sparrow.
"Hey, Little Sparrow why were you angry on the big sister?"
Little Qiqi asked while sitting back on the couch and changed to their favourite cartoon show.
"CHEEP CHEEP"
The little thing opened her feathers and then made a few hand (feather) signs while trying to explain it to Little Qiqi and Little Jia.
"Ohhh."
"So you are talking about the necklace."
Little Jia nodded and then continued.
"Don't worry, our Papa won't let anything happen to us and if there was some danger, then he would already have been here."
"Yes, Big Sister correct. Papa won't let anything harm us."
Little Qiqi nodded and then the two continued to watch their cartoon which was SpongeBob Squarepants.

Meanwhile now, Xiao Ya was sitting beside Grandma Yan as Yuan Meng helped her with the breakfast.
"Let me hel..."
Ning Wei also stood as to bring the bowl but Ye Qian quickly called out and said.
"You should rest today don't work."
With that, he stood up and walked to the dishwares and brought the bowl for Xiao Ya.
Not understanding why he stopped her from helping Ning Wei felt dejected and her face fell with a slightly sad feeling welling in her heart.
'Why did he stop me from helping, does he not even want me to find happiness in what I want to do by myself?'
Ning Wei thought as she remembered the way Ye Qian stopped her from helping.
His face was filled with worry and care while he told her to not work so it would not have been like the way she was thinking as well.
'But he was worried.'
Ning Wei thought as her eyes went to Yuan Meng who was smiling at her with a pleased smile on her lips.
"Sister Wei, why don't you take some rest as Qian'er said to."
She patted her hand lightly and then shook her head.
