Chapter 280: Does Mom's Stomach Hurt Because You Ate Too Much?

Ye Qian and Ning Wei were walking into the living room while Ye Qian helped her walk properly since she was having trouble doing so.
But this time he didn't say a worn and only nodded.
He had learned that no matter if you are wrong or not, but better be quiet if the woman is in anger at you.
No matter if you what you say, you would only get some snappy words and might even get some beatings, but though he knew he would not be treated so low as to be beaten, he still didn't want to make Ning Wei angry which would only make her condition worse which was already bad.
Behind the two Yuan Meng and Xiao Ya were the only one left now.

"Come let's go, everything here is done and you should also rest."

Seeing that the two had not moved much Yuan Meng smiled wryly seeing the two's backs.
Obviously, she knew that Ye Qian was feeling embarrassed to touch Ning Wei on her waist and thus was holding her arm to support her which though made him relief but she could notice that Ning Wei was having a hard time with that.

Ye Qian nodded and sighed in relief in his heart, it was really hard to help Ning Wei walk carefully while still not making her feel hurt.
Ye Qian felt a new level of respect for women be it Yuan Meng, Ning Wei or his mother.

'Sister Meng is definitely hiding something, or there is no way she anyone would be so carefree like she is with me getting close to Ye Qian.'
Ning Wei speculated in her heart and then entered the living room while carefully remembering each and every action Yuan Meng did ever since she came to her house and got close to Ye Qian.
Every time, Ye Qian would worry for her, Yuan Meng would always have slight helplessness and discomfort in her eyes as if she didn't want Ye Qian to care for anyone other women than her just like any normal woman would feel insecure if her husband were to get close to another woman.

'Sister Meng, whatever it is, you don't have to feel sad for it, your Qian'er will let nothing happen to you. "Huh, Mom, what happened, what are you walking like this?"

"Mom is feeling pain in the stomach, Jia."

"Was it because you ate too much?"
