Chapter 328: A Gift No Matter How Small Is A Gift!

Seeing Ye Qian waving at her, Ji also waved while still in a daze.
She didn't know if she should be happy that he had gifted her something or be sad with the fact that she felt that she was losing him even more now.

She urged but the bird seemed to have not understood any of her words and continued to pull the corner of the wrapper.

The small sparrow tore the already old and ravaged thin plastic wrap.
"You... why did you do this?"
At first, Ji felt sad for herself and was angry at the sparrow, but after understanding that there was no way it would have been able to understand any of her words she shook her head and said in a mocking tone.
"It's all my fault, why should I blame you?'"
"PURRR"
She patted the small sparrow's head with her thumb finger as the little one purred in delight.
"Why would you do something that is completely out of sense?"
Ji mumbled while her eyes landed on the small box which still had the wrapped but it was opened now.
All the time she had kept the box for so long, she never felt that she should check what Ye Qian might have given to her.
But now with the breaking of the wrapper, she felt that she was getting this urge to open the box and check what he had given her back then.
It was just like if someone were to say a story of a few generation old ghost residing in a house and people were afraid of even opening the door of the house.
But after someone opened it nothing happened, then people would get interested to go in and look at the so-called ghost house.
People's interest would be piqued since there was no sign of ghosts in the house after the door was opened and they would have this urge to go and tour around the house.
Right now Ji was feeling the same.
Unknown to her, her right hand which was holding the box seemed to be calling for her.
The more she looked at it the more she felt to open the box completely, even though she didn't want to.
"Ughh, let's open it, since Qian gave it to me it would be a simple ornament or something which he felt would look good on me."
With that, she brought her other hand and started to open the wrapper carefully as to not tear it.
