Chapter 333: Aunt Qin's Worrisome Condition!

Yuan Meng pouted her lips like a small girl and complained to Aunt Qin.
They just had lunch about half an hour ago, besides Ye Qian had not made the food with his usual ways and also seemed a bit different than the times when she had seen him cooking.
And she didn't understand that when she was having lunch.
Because she felt that her hunger was getting less with each bite she took and chewed upon.
She got a vague understanding that maybe there was a reason for this but didn't ask Ye Qian for it.
She had thought that eating so much in front of everyone would make them look a bit different besides, the amount of food needed would be a couple of times more than what they would eat.
But Ye Qian would of course not use his powers for all, maybe he would be able to help the old unless and aunties later while treating them but with the food, there was a chance that it would make them unhealthy for a few days with its difference.
Though Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao were old, they were not as old as that of the many old uncles and aunts of the old age home, so there was bound to be some or the other problem with them if they were to suddenly consume so much food with the energy which Ye Qian would use to make it.
And though how she was not feeling hungry a few minutes ago, but after sniffing the aroma of the various dishes Aunt Qin had prepared, her stomach had also started to grumble as if in hunger.
But she knew that Ye Qian had various ways where he was able to control his hunger, but why did Aunt Qin even bring so much food for them?
"Hehe, my son-in-law is so hungry, would it be bad if I were to leave him hungry all the while?"
At first Yuan Meng didn't believe what she was hearing, because she had clearly seen that all these days that although the appetite of all of them had increased tremendously, Ye Qian would only eat a plate of dinner and it only seemed like he was just accompanying them and was not even hungry in the slightest.
Though she knew of the reason she was also worried for him being the simple wife that she was.
No matter how powerful or how magical Ye Qian was as of now, how could she not be worried if Ye Qian were to not eat food.
Would she even be able to pass down a morsel down her throat seeing that Ye Qian was not even eating half of what the girls were eating?
But here Aunt Qin not even knowing whether they were hungry or not had made all this food just for them, it was not like Yuan Meng felt bad for wasting food, but this was all made by Aunt Qin will so many efforts.
She had known of her trouble cooking in front of the smoke for a long time and she didn't have the heart to not eat it when Aunt Qin would have forced herself for so much just to make all this all by herself.
"Hehe, I know that my son-in-law is hungry, or he wouldn't have been sniffing the aroma of the food right after coming in the food court."
With a smug on her lips, Aunt Qin turned to Ye Qian and made him sit.
Ye Qian didn't know what to say for her, but he still felt warm for her after seeing how much she loved Yuan Meng, all these years in the heavens, he was always worried for Yuan Meng and their daughter, but he would have never thought that, in these years, Yuan Meng would make some new relations with so many good people.
And as for her thought of him being hungry, though it was a misunderstanding, he still felt warm after hearing her words.
How would he not feel happy, just because he was sniffing, she had brought a table full of food just for him and that too with so much effort.
If it was Grandma Yan then Ye Qian would still eat the food made by her with so much love and even if Aunt Qin was not Grandma Yan, the amount of love she had made all of this for him, made him feel warm in his heart.
How would he ever be able to reject such motherly love?

How could he not know that she was simply lying to Yuan Meng just so that she would not feel bad?

He didn't know if Aunt Qin was even aware of her condition and coupled with the fact that her breathing problems there was no way that anyone would be able to diagnose it.
Then again she had not even felt any change so why would she even bother to check it.
