Chapter 468: Stop Dreaming About It

Ning Wei started at Ye Qian's calm and happy face from the side as he continued to look at the table filled with food.
'I am already lucky enough to get so much love and care for someone like him.'
Ning Wei thought while her eyes turned red and moist.
Feeling the change in the emotions in Ning Wei, Ye Qian turned to her only to notice that she had quickly turned around.
"I will go check on Jia and Qiqi."
Ning Wei's voice appeared to be excited but Ye Qian was able to notice that she was trying to hide her sadness in her heart by trying to make herself sound like that.
But her voice continued to choke in between.
"Hmm."
Knowing that whatever he would do now would only make Ning Wei even more vulnerable to him and strengthen his place in her heart even deep, Ye Qian nodded while sighing in his heart.
"CLICK"
The door was opened by Ning Wei as she dashed out of the kitchen as if her life depended on it.
"SNIFF SNIFF"
Once she was out she quickly wiped her tears and took a few deep breaths and walked to Grandma Yan and Grandpa Xiao's room.

It was 6 AM and Ning Wei had woken up with a bright smile on her face and a radiant glow.
She was feeling energetic once again and knew that today she would have to take a decisive step which was very necessary for her life.
"If I stay here any longer, I won't be able to get myself away from him ever after, so after today I won't come here."
She glanced at Yuan Meng and Luo Ya who was sleeping while embracing each other and felt happy for them.
"Sister Meng has already done a lot for me and Jia, can't I do this just once for her happiness?"
Thinking of this she stood up and started to freshen up herself and was quite confident that she would be able to do it without feeling much worse.
And so she got ready in no more than 20 minutes and went to the kitchen wanting to prepare the breakfast.
Though she knew that she won't be able to make all of it by herself for so many people, at least she would be able to make some preparations until Grandma Yan and Aunt Qin would come and help her.
After she had woken up Aunt Qin and Grandma Yan took some clothes for the two little girls and their towels wanting to make the girls ready since they would have their schools and kindergartens early.
But after she got ready and wanted to go into the kitchen she saw Ye Qian was preparing the breakfast and seeing his back made her heart tighten as she felt that her decision of wanting to not come back to him was not right.
She started to feel that what she was going to do would surely make her feel lifeless.
But she continued to make herself remember that all of this was for Yuan Meng and Ye Qian, she didn't want to be the third leg in their love life.
"I am already getting old, he won't like me in the future, so it is good for me to stop myself from dreaming such things."
Though Yuan Meng had told her about Ye Qian's powers and other stuff, she had not told her about Ye Qian dying and returning as well of his real age as of now.
if Ning Wei knew that Ye Qian was more than 5000 years old then she might not have thought of herself as getting old and will not be liked by Ye Qian after a few years.
But everything that happens is fate and nothing can be changed.
She could only control her emotions and help Ye Qian with making breakfast.
She was a bit amazed at how much ease and speed Ye Qian was taking care of everything.
It was like he had several clones all around the kitchen who were doing different kinds of stuff.
One of them was making juice, while the other was making soup, as for some were peeling fruits and various kinds of stuff.
She was feeling dizzy while looking at so many of Ye Qian that Ning Wei almost forgot about her sadness which she felt after thinking about her not being able to meet Ye Qian again and only staring at Ye Qian.
And in no time, everything was done and ready on the table while she only helped him with washing, peeling and dicing some of the vegetables.
This time Ye Qian didn't hide any of his power from Ning Wei as if it didn't matter to him if she knew of it or now.
Subconsciously, Ye Qian had also started thinking of Ning Wei as someone who was close to him and was one of his family.
So it didn't matter to him if she knew of his powers or not.

And so now, Ning Wei was knocking on the door of Grandma Yan's bedroom.
"Wait wait!"
She heard someone exclaim and knew that it was Grandma Yan.
Ning Wei quickly checked herself and tucked some of her dishevelled hair behind her ear and wiped her eyes as to not let Grandma Yan find out whether she had cried or not.
She heard some light footsteps and the next moment, the door was opened and Grandma Yan walked out with a few wisps of hair on her face.
Ning Wei didn't need to think much as she understood that Grandma Yan had rushed out in haste and appeared to be walking off the bathroom just now.
"Ohh, Little Wei you are here!"
Grandma Yan called out and brought her into the room.
"Come in."
Ning Wei just nodded with a low smile and followed her in.
She saw that Jia was still at the door of the bathroom as she greeted Ning Wei.
"Good morning Mom."
The little girl was full of smiles and energy as she called out and one was able to see her radiating with spirit.
