Chapter 62: I See Her As My Daughter

While everyone was sitting at the table drinking soup there were various expressions on their faces.
Yuan Meng was calm but was still envious while Ning Wei and Jiao were clearly jealous of Ye Qian as they were gritting their teeth, but still, there was a satisfied look on all of their faces. As they were feeling sweet in their heart.
In front of them, Ye Qian was like he was in the heavens with happiness overflowing from his heart, Little Qiqi who was on his right was giggling every now and then, while Little Jia had an innocent and beaming smile as her eyes were glowing with her only wish being fulfilled and the last stone in her heart shattered.
After more than 10 minutes all of them finished their dinner and just sat for a while.
The girls were talking about their schools and friends and giggled as they recalled some of the playful incidents.
Ye Qian was silently sitting on his chair as he watched them while they continued to chat eagerly.
'It was a nice thought to allow her to call me, she is very happy than before.'
Ye Qian thought as he gazed at Little Jia who seemed to have new energy in her and was lively than before.
"Jia let's go, we must leave now, it's already late!"
Ning Wei's voice shook the little girls and Ye Qian and they all turned to her.
"But Mom!"

"Jia it's already late now, we must go back home."

Little Jia turned to Ye Qian with teary eyes after seeing that her Mom was mandated on going home.

Ye Qian turned to Yuan Meng with pleading eyes as he wasn't able to say anything to Ning Wie.
Yuan Meng gave him a reassuring smile and brought Ning Wei's hand in hers and continued.
"Sister Wei how about you and Little Jia stay here for the night, besides it's too late, and I feel it's not right for you to leave now."
Yuan Meng persuaded Ning Wei to stay.
Hearing Yuan Meng's plea Little Jia's eyes brightened as a brilliant smile came on her lip as she nodded aggressively.
Seeing her eagerness Ye Qian patted her head lightly.
"Won't it be disturbing you two, besides I think it's more than enough for what Ye Qian has done?"
Ning Wei sighed as she smiled at Yuan Meng apologetically.
"No there is no problem with that and don't worry Jiao also stayed here yesterday, besides we don't have work tomorrow."

"If you insist then there is nothing I can say, I will stay here for the night."
Ning Wei sighed and said as she picked a glass of water and drank it.
"Sister Meng, I will also stay with Sister Wei and Little Jia then."
Ning Wei was about to continue saying something more when Jiao's voice came from Yuan Meng's back and they turned to her.

"Sister Wei, you are a guest here there is no need for that, Jiao what are you doing, still sitting, come help me pick some."

Jiao who was still having rubbing her stomach with content turned to her left and right.

While Ning Wei had known Jiao's objective she didn't know if that was real but still it amused her.
"Papa, can Jia also sleep with Papa."
Meanwhile, Little Jia caught Ye Qian's hand and asked.
Ning Wei turned around as she wanted to reject, but Ye Qian patted Little Jia's head with his free hand and nodded.
"Thank you, Papa!"
Little Jia was full of smiles as he didn't refuse her request.
"Yey, Big sister Jia, Qiqi will also sleep with big sister."
Little Qiqi cheered as she jumped off the chair and went to Little Jia.
"Haih!"
Ning Wie could only sigh while shaking her head and turned to Yuan Meng to apologize to her.
To her Little Jia sleeping with Ye Qian was like not giving enough attention to Yuan Meng and Little Qiqi and instead, giving such care to Little Jia will definitely make Yuan Meng displeased.
But to her disbelief, Yuan Meng had a gentle smile on her face as she saw Little Jia asking Ye Qian to sleep with them.
Yuan Meng knew Ning Wei was thinking as such and smiled at her.
"There is no need for Sister Wie to think that I or either Qiqi will be annoyed by Little Jia, I know she has been always feeling sad about not having her dad with her. She is just like Qiqi is to me, though she did not come from me, I see her as my daughter as well. So you should never think in such a manner."
Yuan Meng continued as she gently glanced at Little Jia and Little Qiqi who were playing as Ye Qian smiled at them and talked to them.
Listening to her Ning Wei's eyes teared up as her lips trembled.
She knew there was no woman who would like her husband to love someone else's child.
She would also not like that, if she had her husband, but to her, Yuan Meng was just like her and they would definitely help each other, but she wasn't clear that if she was in Yuan Meng's place she would be so much forgiving and would still didn't say and even feel happy in her heart.

"But I will still help you with the plates and stuff."
She declared while taking the things off Yuan Meng's hands and walked to the kitchen.
Yuan Meng saw her figure going out and shook her head while smiling.
She glanced at the three and then walked out after taking the remaining vessels and spoons.

Very soon the girls got tired of chatting and giggling and started to yawn.
"Aaahhh."
"Umm."
The girls were really tired now and it seemed they could fall asleep the next moment and their eyelids were nearly dropping down.
They were so drowsy they if they were to drop on the bed now they might even start to snore in their little puppy groans. (A little girl snoring sounds like a little puppy's cry)
"Hey you two, let me take you to the bed you will fall if you drowse anymore."
Ye Qian smiled as she stood up and walked to them.
"Papa Qiqi is very tired, Qiqi will sleep now. Owww"
Little Qiqi continued to yawn as she urged.
"Yes, Papa." Little Jia replied with a cheerful smile.

Little Jia was also yawning and wanted to sleep and thus jumped off the chair.
