I’ll just wash you (2)

“I like it when I see you nervous, too.”

So-hee’s eyebrows wriggled from that deep baritone.

“You sound sick and perverted, really—-”

“—and you are the reason why I am.” He caressed her soft skin as if he was handling his most expensive treasure. “You made me do this, Ariad.”

So-hee gritted her teeth to stop herself from making a sound when she felt this tickling sensation from her neck down to her toes.

“I want you to suffer next to me till the end, Ariad.”

Oh my god.

How can a kindhearted man become so twisted like this just because of a woman?

What did she do wrong?

Was it because she wasn’t the heroine?

* * *

Joshua closed the door.

He was about to go to his office, but he spoke to the maid in front of him instead.

“How often do I have to be intimate with a woman to have a baby?” He asked.

The woman replied calmly. “It depends on the physical condition of the people involved, Your Grace. However, it also depends on a woman’s menstrual cycle.”

“Ariad’s current physical condition—-”

Only then did the maid, who finally understood what he meant, give the answer he wanted to hear. “Her age is ideal for childbearing, Your Grace.”

Joshua repeated her statement without realizing, a big smile plastered on his face.

“Get rid of all the contraceptives in the palace and give them to the housekeeper.”

Then, Joshua’s steps were as elegant as his position as he walked through the long corridor.

Joshua glanced at the hand that washed her body and smelled the soap’s fragrance.

Without knowing why, he soon felt comfortable with her heat.

Thick shadows followed behind his heavy footsteps.

And with every single step, Joshua was able to confirm what was inside him.

‘Ariad, I’m going to destroy you.’

Joshua believed that was the truth and he had confirmed his goal with his heart.

Cutting Ariad’s head off will never be enough for him.

“Didn’t you just tell me that you found the medicine I was looking for?”

“What? What medicine, My Lady?”

“The birth control pills! I told you to look for them!” So-hee demanded as she swept Ariad’s purple, soft, and freshly washed hair.

The maid avoided her glower.

“You should be eating your dinner, My Lady. I’ll serve you some food.”

What is this ominous feeling?

Her forehead wrinkled in confusion.

She had an inkling why the maid was acting like this all of a sudden but she decided not to ask again.

Joshua must have said something.

If she doesn’t take that contraceptive as soon as possible, Ariad will have Deon’s child, and her head will roll on the floor.

It was a shortcut to her novel’s ruination.

Getting that medicine was more important than anything else.

So-hee realized she was in trouble when the wrong person came to her room and carried her meal tray in front of her.

It was the male lead again.

She avoided Joshua’s gaze, too embarrassed to face him after the dirty vision she had exposed him to early that morning.

“I’ll feed you.”

So-hee’s eyes widened in surprise at the man’s sudden change of behavior.

She brazenly asked him to feed her beforehand and now, he decided to oblige?

“You don’t have to do that.”

She pushed Joshua away, momentarily forgetting her mission to become this web novel’s heroine due to anxiety.

He didn’t listen to her.

Joshua just placed the meal tray on the table before settling down in a wooden chair.

“You are left-handed, but now you’re wearing a bandage on your left arm, Ariad.”

“I am right-handed.”

“You said you were left-handed.”

“You said you knew I was right-handed. Stop this nonsense—-”

Joshua stood up from his seat and brought his handsome face close to hers.

Oh.

Too bright.

She turned her head away from the radiant sight, but his thick, long fingers clutched her chin and urged her to face him again.

His bright red eyes met her gaze, turning into upturned crescents when he smiled.

“Ariad, just be quiet and eat it.”

So-hee heard that it was scarier to see a gentle person’s personality turn one-eighty.

So-hee pouted for a second before opening her mouth like he wished.

What else would he do if she decided to go against him?

Sohee, please don’t forget that this is a romance novel.

‘Just draw it on a bone and engrave it yourself.’

It was the only thing she needed with this madman.

Joshua smiled as he carefully fed her with the food he brought.

He even watched her chew to the point that it burdened her.

So-hee felt like her stomach was going to ache later.

“Well, it’s delicious.”

She looked at the ceiling again for no reason and counted the number of embroidered patterns at the top.

Then, Sohee suddenly heard Joshua’s angry voice. “Don’t ever look for that bastard again, Ariad.”

She couldn’t believe that the male lead of her webnovel, who doesn’t even swear, just did.

So-hee didn’t respond and even hummed a song for no reason.

Joshua held her chin with a finger and turned her head up.

This time, the touch was not soft but fierce.

“Don’t even dare say his name.”

“All right, all right.”

She was afraid of his eyes, so even if he roughly held her head up, the ignited flames in his gaze continued.

Just as how Deon gets triggered by Joshua, Joshua is also the same.

“I would drag the men around you to the mud.”

His sharp words made So-hee’s forehead crumple.

Joshua shouldn’t do that.

All her ‘Deon readers’ will leave.

“This is just the beginning.”

He was really going to cut Deon’s throat according to the original novel’s plot.

For him, it’s all about treason.
