Beitang Lie was certain that Jiang Dashan had seen the murderer. Otherwise, he could have said that he didn’t see anything from the start. He wouldn’t be stammering like this otherwise.
Chi Jiao signaled Beitang Lie with her eyes. She shook her head, indicating for him to calm down.
She could tell that Jiang Dashan was deliberately keeping it a secret.
Chi Jiao was not in a hurry. Instead, she leaned back in her chair and smiled slowly. “But you have to give me something, okay?”
Jiang Dashan hesitated for a moment before saying weakly, “It’s like this. I saw that the person was a man. He raised his hand and pointed in my direction four times.”
