“I don’t think that man will cooperate with us obediently.” Quan Jue couldn’t hide the coldness in his eyes when he mentioned Ye Yichen.

“I have other ways to deal with him if he refuses to cooperate. Let’s go, Brother Quan. Let’s give it a try first.” Chi Jiao held his arm and stood up. Then, they walked out of the office and headed towards the prison three floors below.
10 minutes later, the two of them arrived at basement level three with Zhan Tingting.

“Which cell is Ye Yichen in?” Chi Jiao asked one of the prison guards after going through a body search.
There were many special facilities in the 117 Building. For example, basement level three was the prison floor. This place was filled with vicious Espers. Every cell was a special glass room that was monitored all day long. The security was so tight that not even a fly could enter.
It was impossible for Ye Yichen to escape from here even if he had extraordinary abilities.
“Officer Huo specially instructed that no one is allowed to get close to Ye Yichen or talk to him. Even eye contact is not allowed. Therefore, we specially arranged for Ye Yichen to be moved to the innermost cell. He was still causing a ruckus when he came over. He only calmed down after we electrocuted him twice.” The prison guard reported to Chi Jiao in a businesslike manner.
All the prison guards who worked in the prison were very hardened. They were concerned about their work and would not pity these Espers who did bad things. They wouldn’t be merciful if a criminal deliberately caused trouble. They would use electrocution to punish them.
It was obvious that Ye Yichen had already had a taste of being electrocuted upon hearing the guard’s words.
“He brought this upon himself. Jiaojiao, let’s go in and see how he’s doing.” With that, Quan Jue pulled her hand and walked forward.
Zhan Tingting obediently followed behind them and walked all the way to Ye Yichen’s cell.
In the cell, Ye Yichen lay facing the wall as if he was dead. He looked like he had nothing to live for.
Chi Jiao couldn’t help chuckling when she saw this. “Ye Yichen, you’ve only been in jail for a few days. Why do you look like you’re suffering from depression? This isn’t like you.”
Ye Yichen immediately sat up straight and turned to look at Chi Jiao when he heard her voice.
Just the sight of her was enough to anger Ye Yichen, not to mention that Quan Jue was standing beside her.
Ye Yichen pounced over but was blocked by the hard glass, preventing him from touching them.
