“I think it must be something paranormal!” An Jing was very agitated. “Even if someone maliciously added strange condiments into the dumpling fillings, it wouldn’t completely change the taste! Moreover, when we made the dumplings, didn’t the fillings look normal? So, it must be a supernatural incident!”
“I don’t think so.” Chi Jiao yawned lazily. “I’m tired and want to sleep for a while. Have some snacks first. Maybe we can head back home tomorrow.”
When everyone heard this, they didn’t have any objections. Luckily, everyone had brought snacks with them. After distributing them, everyone started eating.
That afternoon, the canteen made porridge.
This time, everything tasted like chives.
Although the taste wasn’t very good, it was much better than yesterday’s dumplings. Therefore, most of the students still ate their porridge.
Xing Yue had communicated with the school, and it was decided that everyone was to leave tomorrow.
That night, Chi Jiao’s eyes were closed as she lay on the upper bunk to rest.
The little pink lizard suddenly crawled out from under the blanket and licked her fingers obediently.
Sleeping soundly, Chi Jiao opened her eyes. After grabbing the little pink lizard, she got up and quickly got off the bed.

Chi Jiao had planned to leave quietly, but the moment she got off the bed, someone grabbed her arm.
Chi Jiao was unsurprised to see that it was Dang Nan, who was sleeping on the lower bunk. She raised her eyebrows. “Little Jiaojiao, where are you going?”
Chi Jiao rapped on her head lightly. “You scared me to death. Why aren’t you asleep?”
“I’m waiting for you!” Yi Lanlan and Bai Weiyu were not asleep, either. They turned on their phone lights and poked their heads out to look at Chi Jiao with a smile. The lights made them look like the three female ghosts in a horror movie.
“Why are you waiting for me?” Chi Jiao deliberately put on an innocent look.
But the three of them were not fooled. After getting up, they put on their shoes and pulled her out of the dormitory.
“Alright, Jiaojiao, stop pretending! We all know that you want to investigate today’s supernatural incident. Right? We’ve already thought about it. We want to go with you,” Bai Weiyu said as she hugged her arm.
“Look at how happy you all are. Aren’t you afraid that this is really a ghost causing trouble?” Chi Jiao tried to scare her.
“Hehe, with you around, we’re not afraid!” Yi Lanlan said with anticipation. “Let’s go, Jiaojiao. Let’s go to the canteen!”
“No, we’re not going to the canteen. We’re going to the backyard of the base camp to look for Blackie. Don’t worry, the culprit is the one who abused Blackie. I reckon this incident has something to do with Blackie, too. Let’s go and wait. We’ll definitely find something.” As Chi Jiao spoke, Da Liu’s figure appeared in her mind.
The three of them believed her. They nodded and followed her.

Under the moonlight, Blackie was tied to a metal railing in the backyard. A basin filled with water was in front of it.
To prevent them from being discovered by Blackie, Chi Jiao and the others observed from afar.
The four of them waited for half an hour, and sure enough, someone finally appeared.
