“Alright, I’ll come over now.” After Chi Jiao said that, she arranged for Pei Yao to find Beitang Lie and protect Xu Ye together. She then rushed to the police station with Quan Jue.
They met Huo Chen at the police station.

Outside the interrogation room, Huo Chen smiled bitterly. “Shi Kuo is very cunning even though he’s so young. We can’t even get a proper statement. Moreover, we didn’t find any clues at Zhou Yang’s crime scene. Shi Kuo’s crime is as good as perfect. If this continues, we can’t convict him.”
“You didn’t find any stone, either?” Quan Jue asked.
“No. I’ve already gotten someone to search his house and his room, but we haven’t found anything.” After Huo Chen said that, he seemed to have thought of something and added, “Also, Shi Kuo admitted that he was the one who called the bar yesterday and exposed your cover.”
“What’s the use of his admission? Even if he had followed us, he didn’t directly impact us. At most, we can only give him a verbal warning. There’s no way to convict him,” Chi Jiao said after letting out a sigh.

He interrogated me for a long time but couldn’t get anything out of me. I think I have proven my innocence. Shouldn’t he be letting me go?” Shi Kuo sighed hypocritically. “To be honest, I’m quite afraid of being here alone.”

Quan Jue had been observing Shi Kuo’s face closely since he entered the room.
