There was a loud crash. Quan Jingzhou sat down coldly and took out his phone to make a call.
The maid’s calm voice came through the phone. “Hello, Sir.”
“How is she?” Quan Jingzhou asked.
“Miss Lu Xian just had lunch and is resting. Her emotional state is still stable, but she keeps asking when she can leave. To comfort her, I said that you would answer her when you return,” the maid replied.
“Yes, well done. Turn on the camera. I want to see her.” With that, Quan Jingzhou opened a locked drawer and took out his tablet.
After checking the surveillance footage, Quan Jingzhou looked at the screen.
On the screen, Lu Xian was sleeping quietly on the bed. Her sleeping face was as quiet and sweet as it had been many years ago.
Quan Jingzhou had placed a total of four cameras in the room. They could record Lu Xian’s every move from all angles.
He reached out and touched Lu Xian’s face through the screen. He said in a daze, “Lu Xian, I won’t let anyone snatch you away this time…”

Quan Jue alighted from the helicopter with a gloomy expression.
When the bodyguards behind him saw his gloomy expression, they all lowered their heads and did not even dare to breathe loudly.
