"Roger!" The group shouted. A bolt of lightning flew from Liz's fingertips, hitting one of her targets. The corrupted Biohuman turned and shrieked as it locked eyes with her. Manny rushed forward towards the rest of the group as Calis moved straight for the corrupted Biohuman eyeing Liz. Calis leapt forward, summoning his trident as waves of water and shadows grew below him.
"Let's go!" Calis shouted. He zipped around both corrupted Biohumans, drawing their attention away from Lee Seng. "Come get me!" The corrupted beings lurched forward, hitting the water and shadows. Calis's abilities pushed the beings closer together as he circled. Calis watched as Liz began to spark with lightning. He smirked and jumped up, pushing himself up into the air with the shadows.
"Arc!" Liz shouted. She fired a bolt of lightning straight for the water and watched it connect and move in every direction. Calis tucked his knees close to his chest and pulled his trident up. He watched as the lightning barely reached for him as the two corrupted beings were hit. They shrieked in pain as the lightning-charged water crashed onto the corrupted Biohumans.
Lee Seng summoned a wisp and tossed it without thought as he pushed himself backwards with his free hand. As soon as fire touched the water, it exploded.
"Grah!" A tiny yell was all Lee Seng needed to know where the corrupted child had gone. It was mid-air as Lee Seng turned and lifted his hand. He pushed the corrupted Biohuman kid backwards and watched as it flew through a wall.
Smoke flew in every direction as Calis twirled his trident and dive bombed onto the ground. A large push of water flew outwards, catching the corrupted Biohumans by surprise. The water circled and filled the dome as Calis's form changed.
"Now you're in here with me." Calis smirked. Lee Seng grunted as the child flew at him and scratched him across the face. The child had quick movements and Lee Seng's lucky catch wasn't enough to keep the corrupted Biohuman down.
"I'll help Lee!" Liz shouted.
"I've been wanting to stretch my fin for a bit anyways!" Calis acknowledged Liz. Liz began to run towards Lee Seng as a corrupted Biohuman slammed into the wall next to her. She turned and watched as Keng was worse for wear.
"Go!" Keng motioned. Liz nodded and continued forward as the corrupted Biohuman reacted and lashed out at her. Silver runes flared all around the monster. It seared off an arm and a couple fingers and the monster screamed in pain.
"Watch out!" Evan alerted Keng. He turned and watched as Manny was already there to take the hit. Manny grunted as green energy grew from the hit. Manny diverted the energy into his fists and punched right back at the corrupted monster.
"Argh!" Manny grunted as the monster stumbled backwards. Olivia jumped out behind Evan and pierced the corrupted monster with her dagger. It glinted and flared, paralyzing the monster. Evan watched as the ranged corrupted monster raised its hand and looked at Olivia. It smiled and blasted a dense purple beam straight towards its ally and Olivia.
"Move!" Evan jumped in front of Olivia and raised his shield. Energy washed over the shield as Evan pushed back. The kinetic shield flicked through the rainbow, ending at white. It began to crack as Evan gritted his teeth. Two corrupted monsters split from the beam and rushed to attack Evan.
Olivia turned to face the left corrupted monster, blocking the first attack. She swung her palm and watched as the corrupted monster dodged and then glow a bright purple. She clicked her tongue as she muttered under her breath. The earth around her shifted and flew straight into the corrupted monster's throat. The corrupted monster cried in pain as purple blood oozed out of it. Olivia shifted her stance and watched as another rock flew up ripped it in half.
Ritsuka lifted Obsidian Glass and watched as the large shield appeared. He blocked the incoming attack to Evan's right and shoved the monster away. The monster flew as the shield turned back into Obsidian Glass. He twirled the blade and fired three Void slashes. Three shallow marks appeared on the monster's arms and body. Ritsuka clicked his tongue as he lurched forward. The Glass corrupted monster released its purple beam and lifted its free hand. It fired straight for Ritsuka, sending him flying backwards into a wall.
Ritsuka grunted in pain as Evan raised his hand up and smiled.
"I was wondering when you were going to stop." Evan told the Corrupted Glass. The monster looked at him and snarled as it began to turn its raised hand over to him. "Back at cha!" A rainbow explosion of energy fired out of Evan's hand and disintegrated the monster to bits.
"Dark Waves!" Calis rushed forward, piercing the first drowning corrupted. It shrieked, ingesting the water and filling itself with water. The other corrupted turned and tried to flee. Hydrosphere flew straight into the water bubble, piercing the corrupted. Calis twirled his trident and swung it like he was going to bash it across the side of the head. The trident glowed, shifting into a sword, slicing the corrupted's head clean off.

Liz moved into the building, feeling something brush past her. She winced as a portion of her arm bled. Before she could turn, she was hit, again. She hissed as electricity flicked off her. A thin layer of electricity grew, catching the corrupted monster child and stopping in place.
Lee Seng lifted his hand straight for the kid and let out a sigh.
"Rest easy." Lee Seng whispered before crushing him. Purple blood splattered across the floor and ground. It sizzled, burning a nasty smell across Liz's electric aura as she turned away with her eyes shut.

"You can look now." Lee Seng whispered. Liz slowly opened her eyes and looked over to where the kid was. She witnessed the blood splatter and immediately turned away. She didn't like that they had to cool a child.
"Poor kid…" Liz's voice quivered. "They didn't deserve any of this."
"They're at peace now." Lee Seng answered. "Come on… Let's get away from here." Liz nodded and Lee Seng walked with her towards the others. Calis shifted out of his Merfolk form and dumped the water bubble and dead bodies onto the floor.
"Are we all right?" Manny asked, looking around. The group was a bit knocked up but Manny's healing ability could easily handle it. "You okay?" Manny looked at Liz. She nodded, unconvincingly while Keng moved over to Lee Seng. "You're lying to me." Manny lifted her chin up and noticed the tears in her eyes.
"That kid…" Liz quietly spoke. Her eyes shook as she tried her best to hold her tears away. She looked into Manny's eyes and that was all it took for her to cry. Manny sighed and pulled her in. She buried her face into his shoulder and cried. "How cruel of a world this is…"
The others stayed quiet. They looked down, letting Liz mourn the death of a child. Lee Seng turned to look at where he put the body. His heart hurt. Keng squeezed his shoulder, drawing Lee Seng's attention away from it, momentarily. His eyes shook with intense pain. The two had a silent conversation and Keng pulled Lee Seng into a hug, watching Lee Seng literally melt into him.
Keng was left with Lee Seng inside of him. He could feel the intense sadness.
'A child succumbed to the cruel fate of the Deimons…' Keng couldn't tell whose thought it was. 'A cruel fate we must end.' Keng nodded and began to turn when the familiar AI voice spoke.
[Connection Established. Evolution shall begin.]
Keng's tight jaw loosened and he let out a sigh. He turned to look at Olivia.
"This might take a while." Keng spoke, drawing Olivia and Ritsuka's attention. Silver and golden light began to emit off them as KEng felt the urge to sleep. "We're evolving… I think it'll be… long—" The cocoon of energy wrapped around Keng like tiny threads of energy. It blocked his entire view of everyone, pulling him into the Soul World.
Lee Seng sobbed loudly, where no one but Keng could hear him. Keng wadded through the Oasis and onto the sand. He dropped down onto his knees behind Lee Seng and hugged him. Lee Seng's sobs grew louder as he clutched onto Keng.
"Why did I have to kill a kid?!?" Lee Seng asked. "Why?!?"
