Zou Yue gritted his teeth loudly. 'it was not the time to analyze my powers. Juda was in terrible shape right now. She needs help asap.' He gently hugged Juda away from the walls. "Come on, get on my back,"
Juda coughed loudly, gripping his shoulders. "you... you were beat up... I can walk."
"I'm okay now, darn it. Just get on,"
"Help!! Help me!" another voice shouted from beside.
The sudden shout slightly startled Yue.
"There are five others here," Juda whispered into his ear.
Yue nodded. Hurriedly he searched for a torch, in his various pockets but he could not find one.
"Here," a small cold torchlight was shoved into his hand.
He looked down at Juda. She winked at him with difficulty.
"Go on, use it,"
"You doremon," he whispered, switching on the light. It lit up the entire space. The warehouse was empty. There were only five people tied up to the sides of the walls. Most of them looked to be in an excellent state except for the guy in the corner. He was rolled up in a fetal position, hugging his bent knees.
There was a subtle scent of blood coming from him.
Yue hurried to check on him.
"Help me, help me!" a girl who was right next to the collapsed person grabbed hold of his coat. "Untie me now!..."
"Wait, I'll check him first,"'
"Untie me now!" she screamed with a glare.
She looked like she was in her twenties with clean black hair and a well maintained curtain bangs. Her face was smeared with makeup and her pouty lips were painted red.
His eyes roamed over to her clothes. They were all high end fashionable items.
'Must be one of those rich people.'
Yue pushed her hand away and checked on the unconscious man. He was skin and bones. There was barely any breath left. He was slightly wheezing and panting.
"hey! you! Untie me..."
Yue did not respond to her at all. "Juda, can you take a look at him? His breathing is uneven," he ran to Juda and lifted her and brought her close to him.
Tiredly, she checked on his pulse. "He's extremely malnourished. Quick, hold him up. He needs water."
But he did not have water….
Juda suddenly placed a hand inside his coat like she was taking it from in there.
Yue got the cue. He switched off the torchlight for her convenience.
"Why did you switch the lights off?! Hey! You both! Untie me right now!" the girl screamed loudly.
Feeling the cold bottle on his chest, he knew that Juda had taken out the water from her space. He switched on the light and lifted the unconscious man onto his lap.
Juda pried open his mouth and poured in the water little by little. "A finger on his throat Yue. We need to know if he is swallowing,'
Yue did so. He felt the bony neck with his fingertip. The throat knot moved up and down, gulping the water hurriedly.
"Fuck they did not even feed him properly," Juda grumbled softly, wiping the man's mouth.
Yue glanced around. There were five other girls in there. One was the loudmouth, and the four others were silently looking at him.
One girl, in particular, caught his eyes. She had amber eyes that shone slightly in the dark. Her cautious moves and her vigilance reminded him so much of a startled animal.
'It feels like staring right into a wolf's eyes.'
"Hey, you! chap! Help me right now! I will give you all the food you need! Just untie me, you stinky brat!" the loud girls shouted once again.
He just glared at her. "Can you stop? We are trying our best to help. Your screaming is not going to help at all."
"You! how dare you talk to me in that way!"
Yue sighed. Listening to her yapper was too annoying. He moved close and cut her hands and legs loose.
Immediately the girl snapped up, patting the dust from her mini pink Gucci skirt. "That took you long?! Hmph,"
He decided to completely ignore her presence and went about freeing the others.
The other girls flinched back when he got close. He held up his hand, showing that he was harmless.
"I'm not going to hurt any of you. Just stay still, okay? I'll cut you guys loose,"
And that he did.
He cut them all loose..
Yue took a good look at them all. The one closest to the rich girl was a girl dressed in Burgundy and white school uniform.
'Wait I've seen this uniform before! That water zombie! They must be from the same school!'
He curiously peered at her.
The young girl lowered her gaze, letting her short shoulder-length black hair fall over her face.
"Which school are you from?"
"G private school." she shyly whispered.
"I see. I saw someone else in that uniform. His name... I don't know his name, but he had black hair that came to his forehead and had a buzz cut in the bottom of his head."
Only after saying that did he realize he was describing the most generic hairstyle out loud. This hairstyle was quite famous now. Keeping the hair longer at the top and shaving off the bottom. Most of the teenagers and young men had this hairstyle.
Yue felt like slapping his own forehead for his stupidity.
"Never mind. I'll get his name the next time."
The young girl nodded.
Yue next peered at the woman next to her. She had shoulder-length dyed brown hair tied up in the back in a low ponytail. She was wearing a dirty brown coat with a bit of stains on it.
"Sir, thank you so much... is it okay if I leave now? my child... he is waiting for me... he must have not had breakfast." She anxiously whispered, twisting the end of her torn up sleeve.
"Wait a bit. The military will be on the way. You guys can get your wounds treated and get back home," he calmly and patiently answered her.
The women calmed down a bit.
"I don't want to see the military," the vigilant girl, who he decided to call as wolf girl, said in a coarse voice.
Yue did not know what to say to this. "well.... it's your wish I guess. If you meet up with the military, you can give a correct report as to why you guys were targeted so that it can be prevented in the future... but if you don't want to meet them, you can leave,"
"Why must I leave? It's my tax money. They need to save me and help me out. Why the hell were they even late to begin with? Don't they know who I am?!"

Yue could not deal with her loud yapping. He silently nodded and went back close to Juda.. 'it's better not to get involved.

Immediately the girl snapped up, patting the dust from her mini pink Gucci skirt. "That took you long?! Hmph,"

The other girls flinched back when he got close. He held up his hand, showing that he was harmless.
"I'm not going to hurt any of you. Just stay still, okay? I'll cut you guys loose,"

"Sir, thank you so much... is it okay if I leave now? my child... he is waiting for me... he must have not had breakfast." She anxiously whispered, twisting the end of her torn up sleeve.
"Wait a bit. The military will be on the way. You guys can get your wounds treated and get back home," he calmly and patiently answered her.
The women calmed down a bit.
"I don't want to see the military," the vigilant girl, who he decided to call as wolf girl, said in a coarse voice.
Yue did not know what to say to this. "well.... it's your wish I guess. If you meet up with the military, you can give a correct report as to why you guys were targeted so that it can be prevented in the future... but if you don't want to meet them, you can leave,"
