Chapter 349 349 - Attacked
Yue hurried out of the small prison into the open hall. the others had already awoken and were in complete panic. The white smoke-filled eth space. He could barely make out where his family was. So many sounds of screams and panicking cries echoed in his ears.
He hurriedly held out his hand and touched Tian copying her ability.
The crowd's noise turned into a small buzz in his ears. Sometimes being slightly deaf really helped him.
"Everyone!!!! Calm down!" he screamed at the top of his lungs but people were not willing to listen.
They were already in a panicked state after the zombie tide and now that they were being attacked by another human settlement everyone were like a group of headless chicken running around trying to save themselves. They all ran to the entrance of the prison hall!
The doors of this prison hall were most likely shut from the outside.
Fearing a stampede Yue acted fast. The first thing he did was to shout for the soldiers to assemble.
The ones under Tian and harry were completely obedient and soldiers to the boot. They all quickly assembled in the corner.
"Weapons ready! Everyone I'm going to break the walls. We will be directly facing the enemy now. I want you all to be prepared. Ability users, use all your powers to deaf the ones who are attacking us!!"
The normal crowd was not willing to listen. Only the hundreds or so soldiers were willing to follow his order.
Yue sent Tian to his family and walked up the wall.
When he was close to it he started to sprint and kicked the wall with all his might. The whole place trembled!
The brainless crowd went silent for a second.
Yue kicked the wall again and this time the whole wall shattered leaving behind a huge gaping hole.
Yue hid and hurriedly activated the firepower he just copied from Tian, creating a huge ball of flame.
The ones who were shooting at then suddenly were startled they moved away, creating a space for him.
Yue felt a hand touch his back. he knew exactly who it was. it was fan.
"aren't you with mum and ad?"
"Tian is with them." Fan whispered kissing his cheeks. "let's go and deal with your cousin."
"Yeah," Yue sighed loudly. "We only came here in peace and you are the ones who started this. So, I won't be kind. anyone who comes close will be burned to a crisp!" he shouted.
The fifty or so men backed away slightly hesitant as to what to do.
They all looked towards a person in the back. it was a middle-aged man wearing a white coat. He had a soft smile on his face.
"What are you guys so fearful of? he is only a level five or so fire ability. Send in an earth-ability user to take his flames out." He instantly calmed his group down by taking charge.
The attackers gained some confidence.
An earth ability user sent in a sand storm his way.
Yue hurriedly closed his eyes as sand got into evert little crevice of his body.
Fan hurriedly hugged him and shielded his body. "Wind ability users!!!:" he called out.
Three of the soldiers ran up and swiftly created a huge whirl wind to counter-attack the sandstorm that was attacking them.
Their powers were similar to spinning tops. They both clashed against each other, but they were not able to constrain their powers.
But the fight between the wind ability users and the other sand users gave fan an opening.
He held up his hand to eth sky.
The dark skies suddenly lit up with huge thunder crashing around.
The group of men who were attacking them froze.
The guy in the white coat looked at fan with interest. "Kill everyone else. I want that man alone alive. As for the kids capture them," he said with a soft smile.
"in your dreams!" fan unleashed his powers. A huge lightning bolt fell down, hitting ten of those attackers. They were all turned into black char instantly.

Fan signed for Yue to stay back and he too stepped up to fight this lunatic. "is this all Murong's plan? welcoming us with a smile and attacking us when we are vulnerable."
"Him? That guy is a waste. He has a very soft heart which I want to tear out and feast on." The guy smirked.
Fen had finally confirmed that it was not Murong's fault that this was happening.
Yue quickly cleaned his eyes with the help of a water-ability user and jumped into the fight. After fan took out ten of them, there were still forty ability users to take care of.
Each of their powers were unknown to him.
He had to fight carefully in order to survive,
Just as though of this, he felt a small gust of wind close to his face.
Instinct told him something was wrong. Yue hurriedly leaned down.
A sharp dagger sliced through eth air right above his head.
A guy dressed in a cargo pants and white shirt looked down at him. "your instincts are impeccable." He grinned.
The next second the dagger came down on him again.
Yue swiftly move out of the way and jumped a few steps back to give himself some space. This guy was obviously a speed-ability user. But he most likely was a level ten or higher.
Even in his last life after ten years in the apocalypse, he was never fast as this.
He moved like eth gust of wind.
The only indication of his movement was the slight air distortion he caused.
Gritting his teeth Yue hurriedly let the flames out of his body. He swirled it around creating a small whirlwind of fire around him. This acted as a shield from this guy.
But what he didn't notice was that there was a huge opening on the top of his whirlwind.
The guy simply jumped into his safe space and stabbed at him. "You're dead meat,"
