Before the demon beasts standing around outside the crater had any time to react, the badly damaged pagoda burrowed Chu Yang's momentary attraction of the qi between heaven and earth to form a small vortex to suck in all the qi and rapidly increase the amount of qi flowing towards it.

Understanding that things were taking a turn for the worse, the rabbit demon beasts acting as a leader of the demon beasts let out a loud squeaking noise before rushing into the massive crater towards the badly damaged pagoda.

The Core Formation Realm demon beasts that had gathered together with the rabbit demon beast seemed to have gotten some sort of command from the rabbit demon beast, as they similarly rushed towards the badly damaged pagoda.

Reaching the badly damaged pagoda, the rabbit demon beast and the rest of the Core Formation Realm demon beasts all launched attacks towards the pagoda. Instantly causing the small vortex above it to collapse and the absorption of qi to stop.

Following the absorption of qi by the pagoda being stopped, a large number of dim ancient symbols suddenly manifested out of thin air around the pagoda-

Forming all kinds of different mystical attacks that launched towards the group of Core Formation Realm beasts that had attacked the pagoda.
Not a single one of the Core Formation Realm demon beasts that attacked the pagoda were able to escape unharmed, as all of them were injured to some degree by the pagoda.

However, the goal of stopping the pagoda from absorbing any more qi had already been complete, so the rabbit demon beasts ordered for every to retreat as the group of Core Formation Realm demon beasts quickly escaped from the crater with the badly damaged pagoda before the pagoda launched another wave of attacks.
The fact that most of them had managed to survive the attack of the pagoda was a miracle, as most of the pagoda's power had been split into dozens of weaker attacks that they could just barely endue with their strength. Only a few of the weaker ones at the First Stage of the Core Formation Realm had died during the pagoda's attack!
All in all, the rabbit demon beast considered this a success, as it returned to observing the pagoda where the human was hiding together with the rest of the demon beasts. Not forgetting to recover from the few injuries that it had just received from the pagoda.
