There was a slick black couch that sat there stoically like a mountain in a plain of flat silver glass; above them was a small crystal chandelier, it wasn't large, and it didn't quite dangle considering the solid shaft connecting it to the roof. And even the many other expensive objects scattered about expertly. Alex was pleased with their lodging.
