149 Chapter 149: No need to hide anymore
Silver and the rest ran down the watchtower as fast as they could but it was already too late. They could only watch in horror as Alex descended from the skies like a good with pitch-black eyes and fluttering black hair.
His hands were placed behind him and if he wore a Chinese martial art robe he would look no different from the Chinese cultivators they have read about in so many books.
The soldiers around gazed at Alex in shock and awe but none said anything.
“Why is he doing this?” Tracy asked.
She couldn’t understand why Alex would blow his perfect cover already just after a few years of getting almost everything he wanted.
“The resources we are given are merely scrap... Alex has no reason to hide anymore so why not take more? He needs to give the country a reason to take him seriously and this is it... He won against three Tiger threat mutant beasts as a B-rated guardian and now he is showing off an ability even the government doesn’t know off... perfect planning and execution” Silver said calmly with an amused look on his face making the others frown.
“You all planned this without letting us in on it?” Jason asked coldly.
As far as he is concerned he and Tracy are also core members of the family, just like Alex, Silver, Blaze, and the others.
“Of course, you are all core members but we are the founding fathers... some plans just end well if everyone is genuinely shocked... We have our reasons for not telling anyone else, don’t sweat it” Silver responded nonchalantly before walking toward Alex.

“Plant-type beasts are far stronger than expected...” Alex said calmly with a light frown, leaving Silver shocked.

If Alex who should possess the strength of a casual A-rated guardian can’t win against the plant mutant then they would need someone as strong as General Firestorm.
“Nah! It’s our territory, our problem... Plant types don’t spread fast and even if they do, the farther away they are from their core, the weaker they become.... We should be able to manage long enough for me to gather enough strength to fight it” Alex said while shrugging his shoulders.
“I need a complete tiger threat beast gear set, can I leave that to you” Alex said as he waved his hands towards the corpse behind.
“I will get it done... you should rest, word may have already reached the higher-ups about your stunning entrance... You will be swarmed soon” Silver said and Alex nodded in agreement.
He walked casually towards the Nameless mansion built within the military base without hesitation. With each step Alex took he covered so much distance it looked like he was teleporting!
“What the hell?” Jason was terrified.
Alex right now is literally more terrifying than Damian Briggs!
“Using the gravity ability to lighten his weight and improve his speed... for people as normal as us, it looks like teleportation... Meanwhile, he simply walked past us” Tracy said bitterly.
“He has been away for months, planned a lot behind our backs with Silver and now he doesn’t even bother to say hi?” Jason was furious.
“I’m sure he has his reasons for this... Silver and Alex have never failed us so we just have to trust them on this” Tracy said with a strange tone.

“Do they think this can stop you if you choose to leave?” Silver’s voice echoed from behind but Alex wasn’t moved.
“Even if Wilder is here, he won’t be able to stop me if I decide to leave” Alex said confidently.

He too wished to know the limit of Alex’s abilities.
“I can’t sense it anymore.... My limits... I can’t feel it... I don’t know how much strength I can pull out if I go crazy like I used to do back in the days” Alex said calmly.

In his opinion, Tracy and the others had the right to be mad at them. For this but there was no other option. In case of things don’t go as planned there is camera footage of Silver’s discussion with them the previous night.
It proves they knew nothing about this so they won’t be held accountable for anything that happens.
“As long as the president has a little sense of decency left in him, there should be no problems, if not we will both have to leave this place” Silver said calmly.
“We already prepared for that part... I just don’t feel okay leaving her and Jason behind.” Alex sighed heavily.
Trying to escape with someone else outside Silver will reduce their chances of survival even more.
At the moment, other members of the team are liabilities and that’s why Alex desperately needs more resources!
