160 Chapter 160: Unexpected saviour
“Hide from me? Impossible!” Alex growled coldly as his eyes lit up with power as he gripped the empty air and pulled!
A powerful force suddenly rumbled, grabbing onto the buildings and pulling them off the ground, but it wasn’t just those buildings. More buildings in the area gradually started getting uprooted and dragged into the sky while Alex stood like an ancient god, ready to face the world alone.
He had a stern look on his face after pulling out numerous buildings and he still couldn’t find any vine or so.
“Can plant type mutants really move their cores?” Alex muttered in discomfort as he considered the possibility.
As far as he knows, plant-type mutant beasts do not withdraw their vines unless they are destroyed. By the way, the vines extended all the way to their safe zone. So Alex strongly believed there is no way it could withdraw so fast even if it could move its location!
“If it’s not on the surface! Then it’s below!” Alex said coldly and at that moment countless vines shot out of the vines from the ground racing towards him!
Before Alex could react he soon noticed countless vines raining down from above in the form of green arrows, just like the ones that harmed him earlier!
To think the enemy could release so many at a time it must have been preparing for this possible outcome!
Alex dared not face this head on and quickly shot towards the ground with a fierce look on his face.

His eyes flared up with blood flames as he threw his hands forward, incinerating all the vines racing towards him from below!

Alex landed roughly with the crystal by his side!
“Burn!” Alex growled like a furious beast as he threw his hand forward and a powerful wave of rabid flames raced to meet the green arrows but they tore through it and kept falling towards him!

If it had the same power the sky would be filled with fierce green hurricanes!

Alex began performing backflips as he retreated and the vine arrows kept hitting the ground but more vine arrows chased after him

His flames were like a wall, blocking the green spears racing toward him and at this point, Alex exhaled in relief but only for a split second.
His senses began ringing as he felt the threat of death looming over him! Alex quickly turned to see a fierce green hurricane racing towards him!
He couldn’t help but wonder what happened or when the vine spear of this power was created!
Alex docked to the right but it was too late! His body was hit by the green hurricane which tore a hold around his right chest area, shooting out of his back!

Alex spat out a mouthful full of blood and his body began falling! His vision was blurry but he could faintly see countless green spears heading toward him! With little or no power left in him, he stretched forward and an invisible aura formed around him! At the same time, his body turned silver and a blood aura exploded from his body forming some sort of blood sphere!

The entire space shook as numerous vine arrows stabbed at the triple-layered shell ruthlessly!

The shell fell to the ground and shattered like a glass cup. From it, Alex crawled out with numerous green arrows stuck in his body! Blood flowed out of his wounds profusely.
If it wasn’t for the shell and triple-layered defense, he would have been killed!
At this time the vines paid no attention to Alex anymore as they latched onto the purple gem and began pulling it towards an unknown location.

Alex wanted to chase after it but he could only fall to his knees and spit out a mouthful of blood while watching the vines withdraw.

Alex slowly looked up as he gazed at the massive green vine with its pointy edge on him.
He wanted to move but his body seemed too weak to respond to his commands so he simply chose to remain there and watched.
The world was terrified as many covered their faces and vision. This was no different from a public execution and Alex knew it. He couldn’t believe he would lose this easily but it’s only natural since the main strength of a demon threat level mutant plant is at its core. The closer you get to it, the harder it is to fight back.
“I guess you will be keeping the face mask and jacket a bit longer Tracy” Alex said with a slight smile on his face.

The leader of the tyrant gang appeared beside Alex and with a small finger gesture an invisible force pulled out all the arrows piercing his body!
