Alex was carried to a room with a large pool. In the pool was a bright green glowing liquid. He could see fished-shaped shadows moving within it but he wasn’t too sure, bright lighting bolts could be surging within the liquid but Alex didn’t complain. His eyes were calm and he didn’t even ask a question. Everything that has happened so far has killed his mind and emotions. The only time he may ever show some reaction and surprise is if he were standing in front of the family who betrayed him or little beast.
The man nodded in acknowledgment and ordered them to put Alex in. Slowly Alex was lowered into the pool. As his body touched it, he felt jolts of lightning surging into his body. His eyes it up but he was soon submerged in the liquid.
“How long do you think he will last?” One of the two ladies standing behind the man asked calmly. Unlike the men, they had no tattoos on their faces. Their face was crystal clear and beautiful.

To tackle this power, they needed to find a way to regain what was once lost and they did but not everyone is talented enough to unlock their ancient power which was lost in the past.
Jalic is one of the twelve elders of the Estos clan. His claim grows weaker with the death of most of his clan, leaving behind his servants and son who died not too long ago. Thankfully he found Alex, whom he used as a replacement. He wishes to regain a strong footing in the council with Alex as they struggle to revive this world and prepare for an all out war with the Danites.
Hearing this, Alex frowned since he found a few things strangely annoying. The first was the fact that the man showed no emotional attachment whatsoever towards his son when he spoke about him. He seemed oddly calm but that didn’t matter much since Alex was no different. It made things easier for him.
Alex also believed the story which happened thousands of years ago. Judging based on the personal information he saw about himself, he has a lifespan of over a thousand so it’s not too surprising. But then, with the age gap, it also means there is a time difference as well. While a decade may mean a lot to humans, it meant nothing to these people.
